Decavolty I'd be like the marine therapist from the Geico commercial. Wouldnt work out. Okay, I'm curious with that "Marine therapist" thing. I just have to ask: Did you ever serve in the military?

I'm looking over potential candidates for space colonization. Some scientists proposed Mercury.
I'm sorry, no. Too close to the son. It may be possible, but it's close proximity to the sun would make it efforts to terraform the planet more impractical than Mars.

I don't see us getting much farther with the Milky Way at this rate. (SOOO LAME NAME)

I don't see us getting much farther with the Milky Way at this rate. (SOOO LAME NAME)From what I gathered, the name came from Greek and Roman myths that Hera (or Juno, for Roman equivalent) spilled some milk across the sky. One thing led to another, and the Galaxy ended up being called the Milky Way. I will admit, it's a pretty stupid name. I can't name a single piece of science fiction where we have actually been able to travel between galaxies. At the very least, we really need to start really looking into interplanetary travel. We terraform and colonize whatever planets in our solar system can practically sustain life, which so far look like Mars and possibly Venus if we terraform properly. We have to take into accounts of being able to survive just long enough on their surfaces to build safe shelters to start working on terraforming processes. If we can achieve that, then from there we can start treading into interstellar travel.
