I...want something? Because I'm speaking my mind?
No, I'm just attempting to impart some wisdom.
If you want to gripe about something, perhaps you can and/or should gripe about something closer to home. Try to gripe about something you can actually help fix.

So when something can't be fixed, I just simply ignore it?

Now you're catching on!
You may be disgusted by it, but if it'll never affect you, or you can't control it, why even bother being mad about it?
Channel that rage into something productive.

But why just ignore something you know is a problem? It's something I can almost never do. I want to fix these supposed "unfixable" problems, but I don't have the power to do so. It's just maddening and yet I cannot get it out of my mind.

You will never be able to solve every problem. Occasionally, they will either be out of your reach or you'll get them wrong.
I used to be mad at the world, as you are. As I got older I started to think "wait, this isnt going to affect me, it's not even worth my time".
Now I have a quiet apathy towards anything "worldly", and it's awesome!

That's where you and I conflict. Sure, it may not affect me, but it will affect others. Like people in poverty or people who suffer from oppressive government. It's not my concern, but I can't help but think "no one should live like that," and it stays on my mind for God knows how long. I want to stop things like that because I hate seeing it, but the power to do so is out of my grasp. I can give, but how much to how many? It's not enough.

No. Perhaps in time, what I wish will be possible. Perhaps in time what I do will be enough. But will the possibilities arrive in time?

Poverty almost non-existent. Universal social tolerance. Power given to people instead of governments. The end of these wars. I just want the world to settle down for a while...catch it's breath. Our resources used in these modern wars are better spent elsewhere, like developments for space colonization. Mars would be a likely candidate. According to theory, importing Hydrogen would allow it to react with the iron oxide Martian soil to produce water as a product. And where there's water, there is the potential for life. Course, our first step would be to actually start building on Mars, which I guess is easier said then done.

Great, there I was stating that science can also lie and here I am now reciting theories.
Sometimes I think I'm bipolar, I swear.
Also, Deca, can you be my therapist?
