Ben ignored the growl in his stomach for now as he worked on getting his inn tidy and fresh. He did the dishes, cleaned the fridge, swept and mopped the kitchen and the area around the bar. He even went through and dusted off the tables with a rag. When he had completed all of this, he stepped outside to feel that it was cool but not cold so he opened the large picture windows in the front of the tavern. Instantly, there was a rush of fresh air and cool air that over took the place, seeming to lighten it some more.
Happy with this result, Ben washed his hands and started preparing his breakfast.

Despite having been around lately, Ben hadn't had his pancakes in some time and thus prepared them. He made just enough mix to fix him three pancakes and leave the fourth for someone who might so desire it. Adding his syrup and a little fruit to the top of the waffles, he began eating his meal.

After he finished his meal, he made his way out to the porch he had spent so much time on and started to read over his study materials.

*Keira returns to the tavern yawning a bit before stepping inside. She sees that no one is around as usual. She even looked at the fire wondering where Ash was. She then makes her way to the kitchen to make herself some coffee.*

((Yes, had to switch to a laptop. It's waaaaaaaaaay slower though so bare with me!))

(( I will certainly bear with you as in stay with you but I refuse to be bare with you, my wife would not approve of this. mrgreen ))
After a few hours of studying and enjoying the cooler weather, Ben makes his way inside the tavern. He drops his books off at his office and notices Synge is still comfortably sleeping. He heads down to the main bar area and lights a smoke, the first one he had smoked in so many days. Seeing Keira he waves, excitedly, he hadn't seen a living person besides Synge for some time.

*Keira hears someone enter the tavern from another entrance and hears Ben's voice. She smiles to him laughing inside about how absent he was since synge and him became an item*
Afternoon Ben. Been a while. I'm begining to miss Synge now too heh.
((Imma take a shower. Shouldn't take long at all :p))

(( Good timing, it gave me a chance to do a trouble call. ))
He takes in a drag from his smoke and laughs lightly at this, it was true, Synge and he had been rather busy as of late.
Heh, I am sure you do, she misses everyone too but she sleeps even more than I do most days lately. I think her body just has a different metabolism rate than a normal person. But we don't just sleep all day, you know. In fact, I am up most days, I just don't always come to the front...the place nearly runs itself I wager.

Ben nods and takes a seat at the bar, ashing his smoke in the ashtray.
The next time I catch her awake I will tell her that and hopefully she will get up for you. So...how are things with you? I mean...in general. Last I heard you and Ash were talking.

Ben listens to you and he can almost feel the unsettled state his question has prevented. During the silence that followed, he wondered if he asked the wrong question. However, when he hears your response he chuckles awkwardly and takes a drag off his smoke.
Heh...no, I don't know much else, I just remember you guys were talking the other day when I was here and that is as far as I knew...any new people show up looking for rooms? Heh, I hope not...
