Pidgey continued to hop on Machi's head and nudging her, trying to wake her up. "Pidge, Pidgey!" she chirped at her, seeing that a haunter was about to try a Dream Eater attack. "Wake up, Machi! Wake up!!!"

Machi slowly opened her eyes, to a tapping on her head. She suddenly became weak (dream eater attack), being unable to move. uhhh..... Pidgey.... get... away.. from the.....Haunter..... Machi said, struggling, trying to not faint. But she couldn't keep up any longer, it as too tiring and she was becoming very weak. Her eyes began to close, she couldn't stay up struggling.Then everything went dark.

Pidgey heard Machi, but couldn't bring herself to just fly away from her. There had to be some way to wake her up before the Haunter hurt her! Think, Pidgey, think! "Pidgey!" she said, trying to talk to the Haunter. "Why are you attacking a human? What did she do to you?"

Pidgey didn't understand. "Why can't you eat berries like all the other pokemon?" she asked. "Why don't you eat the dreams of the Zubats? They're asleep right now!" She opened her wings protectively over Machi's head. "Please stop!"

Pidgey shuddered. "I don't understand! What's so much better about human dreams?" She hurried to try and think of something to help Machi. "Charizard! Please, fly downward!" She really hoped it would work - she had never been in a fight with any other Pokemon, or even human for that matter.
