"Sheesh, fine. I'll stay quiet next time I want to compliment ya."

He grinned. The comment had been full of sarcasm. She did smell like manure. He didn't mind that much, really. As long as the manure'd get him somewhere cold before he blacked out. At the speed Ariah was running though, it'd be a piece of cake.

The small neko had run straight from the stadium and out into its surrounding forest as if Hells Dogs had been right on her heels. For now, out of breath and with a stitch twinging painfully in her side the neko stopped, her eyes large and frightened as she leant up against a large tree trunk, cradling her head in her hands as she pulled her knees up against her chest.

"Come back... Come back..." she whispered to herself as she rocked slightly back and forth against the tree, "Don't leave me..."

The small neko's rocking slowly came to a stop as her transparent wings slowly unfurled from behind her, moving forwards and curling around her like a shimmering cocoon. Their transparency slowly faded, hiding the girl from view as her eyes clouded over with a soft purple mist, her head still held in her hand as the neko retreated into her mind trying to seek out the Senshi...

"Juunikyuu-sama...?" the neko called as she peered through the mist flowing through the infinite space she found herself standing in the middle of, "Juunikyuu-sama?"

What is it little one?

Within the mist a figure appeared, tall and elegant. Juunikyuu the Angel Senshi emerged through the mist, her arms held open to the trembling child.

"Juunikyuu!"

Juuni sprang forwards, burying her face in the womans stomach as she let the Angel Senshi wrap her in her arms, stroking a hand through her hair gently.

"I couldn't find you..." she spoke into Juunikyuu's tunic.

I'm sorry little one... I was busy in my own thoughts and did not hear you call... You know I would never leave you willingly...

"Please don't leave me alone... Please don't ever... It hurts so bad without you there..."

Juunikyuu smiled down at the neko-jin, I couldn't leave you child... You are like a daughter to me...

The mist swirled around the pair as they fell silent, happy for now to just be in each others company as she Senshi knelt down and Juuni rested her head on her older companions lap.

Meanwhile, beneath the shelter of the wings cocoon Juuni's arms became wet with misty tears.

The wing cocoon flickered slightly, as if merely a projection onto the background of the forest and in a shower of sparks, it began to 'dissolve' from the top down eventually disappearing as a few solitary feathers drifted along on a breeze that rustled through the tree leaves leaving no trace of the neko-jin or the Angel Senshi.

A rabbit sits in the moonlight, cleaning itself, not a care except for it's own cleanliness. Then, for some reason, it stops and looks around it, as if it heard something besides the soft summer breeze flowing through the trees.

It seems about to resume cleaning itself when a small dagger penetrates it's neck, appearing to come from the trees themself, which was accurate, but not entirely true.

This becomes apparent when a figure clad all in black walks out of the treeline and picks up his kill by the hind legs, looking at it before sitting down and skinning it, every so often absently pushing his long, dark brown hair from his face. Once he has it skinned, he takes a few rocks in his hands, closing his eyes, the rocks start to glow bright red, as if they were burning hot, which they in fact were.

After he has them at the right temperature, he places his kill inside the small circle he created with some, and covering it with others. Then he sat back against a tree, lighting a smoke and staring up at the moon as he waited for his meal to cook, whiping the bloody dagger off his pants

*The man wouldn't see or hear anything until it was too late...

Or rather, would be too late if the vampire that stalked his shadow was anyone other than the Lady Adina.

A master vampiress, there were very few who could detect a pressence such as hers if she did not wish it.

She had been just inches behind him from the time his blade penetrated the rabbit's hide.

As he stared up at the moon, breathing in the deadly ectasy of tar, smoke and nicotine as well as a combination of many other unpleasantries, she slipped a slender arm around his neck, her inhuman strength pinning him to the slender tree trunk he had been resting his back against.

With the tree partially between them, she could maneuver enough that should he seek to 'try' and harm her with a blade, it would likely wind up embedded in the trunk... if he sought to harm her with a gun of some sort... well unless the bullets were silver and blessed... there would be little that any amo could do to harm her.

She speaks softly, her voice a silken carress that brushed over his ears like velvet, deep with darkness and hidden promises... hers was the voice of dreams... A voice that men would follow, and had followed... to thei deaths.*

"How does it feel to be the hunted my little rabbit-slayer?"

*She laughs and her voice chases over the man's skin like the most intimate of caresses, raising goosbumps along his flesh as he tensed against her grip*

"Stop struggling, If I sought to harm you you'd be dead already. Now be good and I'll let you go..."

*She releases him from her grip and steps out from behind the tree trunk, letting the moonlight illuminate her flawlessly sculpted face, the doll-like features that looked as if they had been sculpted from wax and the gods had breathed life into her.

Her alabaster skin was offset by platinum hair that was bound atop her head in an elaborate series of braids looped around a carefully styled bun, curls and ringlets chasing down a swan-like neck and dangling like twisted moon beams in front of pierced ears.

Her darkly painted eyes were like blood rubies, a shinning crimson to match her full and sensuos lips.

Her petite and lithe body was clad in a midieval gown of black silk and tafetta, stitched with silver thread and trimmed in more of the same, elaborate embroidery adorned her long and flowing sleeves.

She smiles at the stranger seductively, a hooded cloak drapped over her narrow shoulders and pinned at her throat with a silver broach.

More silver glistened in her ears, and about her neck, am expensive ruby encrusted necklace that dipped down her chest, framed by the v-cut in her neck-line that also allowed a generous flash of pale cleavage.

Adina watched the man intently as she revealed herself, curious to see how he would react to her.*

Actually, he had in fact sensed her presence, it had took him a bit to single it out, but all the same, he had known she was there. Though he had wanted to see what she would do first.

Ennes had been born with a strange sense of life, or in this case, lack of life. Which is generally harder to pin down because it is almost as if he were sensing the life in a tree, but one who knows how to use what he has can do it rather well.

As he sat against the tree trunk, he had been smoking with his left hand, though he was right handed. But the vampiress wouldn't know this. Why had he been doing this? Because his right hand was resting on his right thigh where he had a tactical holster strapped with a USP .45 Tactical, loaded with, non other then, silver nitrate hollow point rounds.

He did tense slightly as her arm went around his neck, though that was mainly instinct and quickly eased away as he felt the smooth fabric covering her pale arm and breathed in the sent of it as he brought his filter tipped friend to his lips again, taking a deep drag.

His deep brown eyes follow her as she steps out from behind the tree, his ears hearing her near soundless steps, as only few could. And he tilted his head to the side slightly, a small smile appearing on his face as she moved before him, examining him in much the same way he was her, though possibly not the same way.

A cloud of smoke escaped his lips as his eyes drew down, then back up her body, taking in the curves of it. Though even though he seemed disarmed by her, his hand never left his right thigh.

Drawing the cigarette back to his lips, he spoke, his voice smooth, calm, with a bit of mirth and a hint of an accent in it

"It is not the first time, and doubtfully the last, vampire. Besides, I'm not that hungry and was only out for a short hunt on this beautiful night. And there wasn't much bigger game anyways."
PostPosted: Sun May 29, 2005 1:16 am

*Adina shrugs as she observes the man quietly a moment longer, then speaks up...*

"What are you doing out here alone stranger? Do you not feel death in the wind's caress nor smell the scent of blood? Something is very wrong this night... and I have never seen you before... interesting coincidence that..."

*Her eyes had long ago passed over the holster and his tentative fingers lingering near it.

This being was well armed and something about his composure told her there was more to him than meets the eye.

She would have to be careful with him...*

It was Ennes' turn to shrug. And he did so, smirking slightly, though anyone who looked deep into his eyes would see there was something more there to what he said next

"I have been alone for a long time. Nothing new to it."

Then he paused, closing his eyes and breathed in deeply through his nostrils. Yes, there was the scent of blood, and something else. He had noticed it before, but had not paid much mind to it and went about his hunt.

He opened his eyes again and leaned forward to his little hearth, dropping the end of his cigarette into it and shifting around the rocks to check his meal, cutting off a bit of skin from it with a small knife he had taken from his ankle, not even seeming to notice the heat he had created, before leaning back and returning his gaze to the vampiress

"Death is all around us, always. You, of all beings, should know that."

He tore a part of the piece he had cut off the rabbit off with his teeth and chewed on it before continuing

"And there is always something wrong... But you are right, there is something about this night, something, wrong, near by. But as you said I am a stranger. So it could be like this always for all I know."

He chuckled lightly as he chewed and swallowed the remaining piece of meat before going on

"I am flattered that you would associate me so readily with this smell of death and blood. But I am merely looking for someone and heard they are sometimes near here. Though it does not surprise me you are near with this stench in the wind. Like buzzards to a corpse."

His words did not carry any real insulting tone, though they did not really carry any flattery either, and his face was impassive apart from the small smile that seemed ever present on his face

~I see you, You see me~

Outside the Stadium, tents had popped up in various places, emergency medical treatment centers, as well as shelters. It seemed as soon as an influx of people had run clearing out to take refuge in the forest, the neighboring beasts decided it was buffet hour. However the Kyonuske would have none of that.

THWOK

With another clean sweep of her blade, Amaya severed off the giant mantis's head, watching as it fell to the floor, twitching violently before quieting down into death.

Her eyes were dead on the inside. As she lowered her katana, staring off to the side, back towards the Stadium. Her feet neatly balanced along the limb of a great tree, she apparently seemed to let her guard down, as another giant mantis leaped out and tried to take advantage of this. "!"

However, its arms and legs seemed to slide off its body the closer it got to Amaya. "Ah..."

"...Amaya-kun..." the soft voice reached out to her, and there, landing nimbly in front of her, was Mitsuyo. Her cat like eyes blinked once, before settling onto Amaya.

"What are..."

Both women seemed to stare at each for a moment, Amaya's wavering eyes, in front of Mitsuyo's peircing ones. She suddenly thrusted her arm forward, holding out what appeared to be a letter towards Amaya.

"This was found on Captain Tenshu's body. It's for you."

Amaya's eyes seemed to light up for a moment. "From Captain Tenshu...? For me...?" She thought back to when they both were walking through the stadium's halls, with a brief stop to his room. At that time...?

"Good thing it was discovered by my Captain. Otherwise it would've been kept as evidence, and you wouldn't have even gotten a glance at it." mitsuyo said, as she turned her gaze on over to the stadium, plumes of smoke rising from it's center. "I don't know what's in it, but... As a Vice-Captain, I think it's a great honor to be the receiver of her Captain's final words." She looked back to Amaya, who clutched the letter tightly to her bosom. "...Read it well."

Mitsuyo crouched slightly, before bounding off the branch and back towards the outskirts to help as she could.

"Thank you..." Amaya's eyes welled up with tears, as she bowed down. "Mitsuyo-san..."

She leapt off the branch and landed upon the ground. Sitting under the shade of that great tree, with her moonblade laying on the ground right beside her, she opened the letter...

Amaya,
If you are reading this, I am probaly in athoer world that I can't return from...

She stiffened her lips slightly, her eyes going over the parchment.

I'm very sorry for the anxiety and grief I caused you... I really can't emphasize that enough no matter how I say it.

"Captain Tenshu..." Her voice cracked slightly..

I had been hesitant to tell you about the reason behind my recent anxiety-- I hope you can understand that the reason I hid it from you was so that I didn't drag you into it. I hope you can forgive me...

Her eyes blinked a little, not knowing where this was going...

As I am about to drag you into it anyway.

"Huh...?"

I sense that my time is near... Thus, to show my faith in you... I will tell you the all the facts of this conspiracy that I have discovered.

Her hands seemed to shake now, as she continued reading the letter, now shaking unctrollably.

"........... This...."

~The last of a Void war~

A soft thudd was heard, as the unconscience body of a Kyonuske was visible. The detention center, within the hallways of the Stadium. The cell door swere cleanly cut in a circular fashion, as a figure stepped out.

"Don't worry, your not dead. You'll wake up in a minute." The voice said softly, before stepping forward into the light. "Now... let's go, find Captain Kyonuske!" Asano exclaimed, the flames on his sword dying out, before he began moving forward.

~~

Within the forest, Amaya was seen, still knelt on the ground, as she tucked the letter away into the folds of her robes. Her eyes were clear and shining. Her resolution was FIRM.

~~

Within another part of the forest, the bodies of several lower level demons were scattered all over the floor, hacked to peices.

HEH

HEH

HEH

HEH

Leaning against the trunk of a tree, Hikaru tried to steady herself. "...Ah..." HEH "I... held my sword against Amaya-san... I...." She lowered her head, bleeding and crying all at once. "I'm...despicable...despicable..." Her eyes widened as she stared to the ground, her knuckles turning white. "Despicable...Despicable...!"

THUNK

"WH...WHO'S THERE?!"

Hikaru shouted out, half firghtened by the noise and scared to death, considering her current state of mind.

"Hyah!" The soft feminie voice sauntered down the trees, to Hikaru, causing her to glance up. "This is horrible. So very horrible indeed!!"

".......Ca...Captain...Fumei..."

Fumei stood atop the limb above Hikaru, looking down at her Vice-Captain. "You look so frail... You poor thing. Want me to save you?"

Fumei was suddenly inf ront of Hikaru, cupping her chin gently. "Come with me, ...Hikaru."

~The last of a Void war pt.2~

Mitsuyo's eyes stared forward, as she leapt from limb to limb, within the forest, the Kyonuske had now moved outside, establishing a perimeter, and keeping the various denizens of nature from feasting on unwary people. The only ones still in the Stadium now were a few stragglers, a few of the Captains and most likely a few of the fighters...

"It's not easy.. I suppose." she said softly.

"Did you deliver that letter, Mitsuyo?" The voice came from her left, and she turned her accordingly, watching as Tekaru came into view, easily keeping pace with her.

"...Captain..." she stared at the youngster for a moment. "...What are you doing on my patrol route?"

"Idiot...I came to check on you of course. Since your okay, hurry up help me with this. I'm dead tired..." He thumbed back, behind him, and Mitsuyo turned her head to stare at what appeared to be an angry mob of monsters giving the duo chase.

"Well, Captain, you were th eone who volunteered to take over all the routes of the 4th division..."

"Oh shuddap. just go and take care of them all already."

Mitsuyo turned her head to stare back at the monsters following them. "...!" It seemed, somehow, durring the short time they had conversed, the number had been vastly reduced, only about 3 remaining, from the dozen that she had initially seen only but a moment ago. "...There are only this many left? Wasn't... there a lot more?"

"Shut up and work already! Go! go!" Tekaru said with a slight look of annoyance, as he stopped, standing atop a limb. Mitsuyo smiled softly, before leaping backwards, and easily dispatching the remaining beasts.

"I... How long have I been out here...?" She asked, wiping her blade clean along a group of leaves.

"Never mind that." Tekaru said softly. "Seeing a colleague and junior fight like that... It puts one into a tough position you know?"

"...Captain. Do you really..." Mitsuyo turned her gaze to Tekaru. "Think that... Captain Fumei..."

"Ex...Excuse me!"

Both of them turned their heads, to see a korenjaan leaping out and down on the ground below. He knelt crouched on the floor as he spoke, in what seemed to be a very big hurry.

"What is it?"

"Yes, sir! Excuse me-- but Captain, Vice-Captain, I bring word from 15th and 12th posts-- Asano Lian, Vice Captain Hikaru, and Vice Captain Amaya... have escaped custody!!"

~The last of a Void war pt. 3~

"...I'm very... very sorry..." The words drifted through the trees, as the korenjaan bowed down on the ground before Tekaru and Mitsuyo. "Vice-Captain Amaya said she needed to go to the bathroom, and as soon as I left her alone... Everything blacked out... When I woke up, it was already like this... I don't know what to say..."

Tekaru folded his arms across his chest, hiding them withint he sleeves of his uniform, as he sighed. "She used her flame..."

"Huh!?"

"Amaya specializes in support flame abilities... Sealing her flame should have been a no-brainer... but we didn't do it..." He turned his head to the side, to stare at the large group of trees that had been blasted, in a large circular fashion. "Because no one thought that... Amaya would want to escape custody so badly."

"She's not sentenced to any punishment... why..."

"There is only one explanation for her behavior..." Tekaru said evenly, as he started walking away, with Mitsuyo staring at his back. "Mitsuyo, you go back first... I'm going to help Amaya." His eyes narrowed as he gripped the handle of his blade.

~~

Within the forest, lithe feet carried from limb to limb, as the figure rushed through the trees. It was none other than Amaya.

I kept telling myself that it's a mistake... I kept telling myself that... In one hand she clutched tightly at the letter, as she made her way through the trees. It's not real... but... It is real, isn't it, Captain Tenshu...? She picked up the pace now, her eyes narrowing as tears slipped from her eyes.

"The one who killed you... really was him...!"

~~

On the ground, two figures walked quietly through the forest trail. Fumei was in front, with Hikaru trailing behind at a slight distance. She paused, as she lifted her head, staring in front of her. A smile spread across her face as she waved.

"---- The two of you are together after all.... Just as I thought."

Before both women, stood Tekaru. With folded arms, and his body slightly turned to the side, his eyes stared at both Fumei and Hikaru. "Only Hikaru's escorts were knocked out... If you helped her escape... it wasn't very smart of you to make it so obvious, Fumei."

"What..." Fumei said softly, as she stood stock still. "You misunderstand..." Her eyes narrowed gently. "I did that because...I wanted people to know."

"It's a good thing I got here before Amaya did." Tekaru said icily, as he leaned forward, gripping the handle of his blade firmly now, as Hikaru's eyes widened. "Before she get's here... I'll kill you..."

SHHHHH TOK

Eyes widening a little, Tekaru slid his elft foot back a little. In between him and Fumei, had landed... none other that Amaya herself. "....Amaya...!"

"---Finally. I've found you." She spoke softly. "I didn't think you would be here...." She rose from her coruched position, sword drawn already.

"Stop, Amaya!" Tekaru stepped forward, arm outstretched. "She's too strong for you! back down and leave this to me! Amaya!!"

Dead silence.

Amaya's blade was poistioned right along side Tekaru's neck, the boy's eyes widened as far as they could be, as Amaya stood firmly, her own eyes staring down with contempt.

"---Ama..." beads of sweat ran down his cheek. "ya...?"

"You're Captain Tenshu's...murderer!!"

~~

Thus, I sense that my time is near... To show my faith in you... I will tell you all the facts of this conspiracy I have uncovered. The reason why Vahn Kyonuske has been acting so strangely, and why the training of this ryoka know as Silver was commenced. I discoevered a terrible scheme in my investigation.

Re real goal of all these estranged orders.. and the training of this ryoga, the scheme is to take control of something and it was planned before this stadium was thrown into chaos.

That 'something' is... 'Existence'.

Only during such straining chaos, will the seal on 'Existence' be lifted.

This 'Existence' has the destructive power of a million flames; the wielder has the defensive strength of the same magnitude to withstand the power of this flame.

At the time of destruction, 'Existence' will be revealed and its flame will burn through all. It is said that during that instant, the power of the flame will surge to more than 10 times the original strength.

The conspirator... plans to use that power to destroy the Stadium, as well as all who get in his way. and the name of that cursed man is...

Sakuzano Tekaru.

~~

Tears streamed down Amaya's face as she stared Tekaru down.

"--- That's really... What Tenshu wrote... on the letter?"

"...Yes. ...And he wrote this at the end..." She said, her voice shaking and threatenign to crack at any moment. "'Today I succesfully got him to meet me at the Eastern entrance, during all this madness. I will stop him from succeeding in his plan. If he doesn't, I will fight him to the death. If I die...'"

Tekaru stared on in disbelief.

"'Amaya-kun... please inherit my will, and slay him... This is my... last wish... Not as the Captain of the 2nd Division... But as a man... Pleading for your help...'" Her eyes let out the tears, her hand shaking, even as she continued to hold the blade out against Tekaru's neck, her eyes were watered over, her heart racing in heart break.

"AAAAAAH!!" she raised her blade, and brought it slashing downwards to cleave Tekaru in half... as he watched, wide eyed.

~The True Will~

The explosion rocked the forest grounds, boughs from trees straining fro the sudden gust of wind, some snapping and flying off. The flames licked up and down from the ground, not spreading a single bit, before snuffing out.

The smoke settling and clearing, Fumei's smiling face could be seen through it all. Skidding backwards, Tekary broke free of the smoke and dust, grinding to a halt. His left forearm was up and raised inf ront of his body. "Baka Amaya! think about it!!" He yelled out. "Because he died, he wants you to fight his battle?"

Amaya broke free of the smoke, dashing towards Tekaru with her blade at the ready. "Do you really think Tenshu would write something like that!!?" His fists clenched in anger as he held his ground, growling in anger. "The Tenshu I know... Isn't an idiot who would blindly walk into a battle when he is not certain about winning!! Nor is he a weakling who woudl tell subordinate to take care of his problem for him!!"

"But..." Amaya seemed to falter only slightly, as she reached Tekaru. "That's what it says...!! It has to be true!! It was defintely Captain Tenshu's handwriting!!" she yelled out, tears streaming from her eyes as she swiped her katana forward, ina horizontal manner.

Tekaru easily evaded, his eyes still wide in shock.

"I don't...want to beleive it either!! But that's what Captain Tenshu wrote!!" She bellowed out, her eyes crying and full of vengeance. "I have to do this!! For Captain Tenshu...!!" She charged directly at Tekaru again. "I...! I... I don't..." she faltered completely now, her eyes red from crying so much, her face slick with tears. "I don't know what to do anymore... Tekaru-chan..." she sobbed, her hand shaking violently.

"...U...WAAAAAH!!" She swiped her sword intot he ground, causing another explosion to rock the grounds, and forcing Tekaru to leap into the air to completely avoid it.

"Damn..!!" Amaya has totally lost it, but...Tenshu defintely would have not wrote that...!! Someone must've changed his will... To make Amaya and I fight each other... He started to descend from his leap, and his eyes caught sight of Fumei. Her smile seemed to have only grown broader.. her eyes shining with mirth. She then turned her head up, and directly stared at Tekaru, grinning a grin that said 'Ha. Ha. Ha.'

"...I see..." Tekaru gritted his teeth, as he began descending down towards Fumei, his eyes enraged. "So this also is... PART OF YOUR DEVILISH SCHEME!!! FUMEI!!"

He continued aiming his flight of descent to crash right on top of Fumei, his hand gripping the handle of his blade tightly--- when suddenly Amaya appeared directly in front of him, having leapt fromt he ground, her blade already moving to slice him across the chest.

"...Amaya...!!" Beads of sweat ran down his cheeks, as he watched her, horror on his face. Tears, seeming to eternally spring from her eyes, continued running as she said not a word. I can't dodge it in midair!! "Damn!"

Without any other choice, Tekaru snapped his left arm to the side, catching Amaya right across the face, in a hefty slap of his knuckles across her head. Like a rag doll, she was struck, and instantly went limp, her body distraught and over wracked.. the blow was enough to send her tumbling back onto the ground, hitting a few branches whichs lowed her fall, but hurt her as well, until she fell, limp to the forest floor.

Tekaru landed on a branch, braced, as he looked to where she fell. He realized that maybe he hit her too hard... "Amaya!!"

"...Arara..." The voice drifted out from the forest floor, right behind Tekaru. "The Captain of the 4th Division is so cruel! Aren't you supposed to be a healer? There's no need to hit that hard..." Fumei spoke gently, her eyes shining in the growing dusk. "A girl who ha slost her mind to her emotions..."

"Fumei..." Tekaru's eyes closed tightly. "Not just Tenshu... Amaya too... You made her suffer so much pain...to the point that she held her katana...so tight that her hands bled..."

"...Ara? I'm afraid that I do not understand..."

Tekaru turned around, facing Fumei as he stood atop the branch. "I told you Fumei." He leapt off the branch and landed on the ground, a few feet inf ront of Fumei, as suddenly the surrounding air seemed to grow very chilling..

"If you made Amaya shed even one drop of blood...I'd KILL YOU!!!"

"...AA..." Fumei smiled, as she slid her right foot back. "...That's no good, Captain of the 4th Division." Fumei's left hand went to her scabbard, and her right went to the handle of her katana. "If you draw out your power here... I'll have no choice but to stop it with my flame."

~Creeping Limit~

The area seemed to be in division almost. On one side, extreme heat. Ont he other, extreme cold.

Fumei.

Tekaru.

both faced off with each now, staring the other down.

"----Cap...Captain Fumei..." Hikaru said shakingly, confused and unsure of what was going on..

"Move back." Fumei said softly. "Hikaru. Unless you want to die." She said sweetly, as her multicolored eyes gleamed. Hikaru gulped, her entire body shaking.

"...Who are you kidding? Backing up is not enough." Tekaru spoke up, his head lowered as he pointed his blade sideways. "Get out of here Hikaru-kun. Don't stop running even after we've dissapeared from your sight..."

Hikaru began to slowly back away from the two, as Tekaru gripped his blade with both hands now.

"If you stay anywhere within 7-square miles of this place... I can't guarantee that I won't drag you into this." His voice was hollow, even as he leapt high into the air, his blade raised high over his head, as Fumei merely stared up and watched passively.

"SOAR IN THE FROZEN SKY!!" He bellowed out, as the moisture in the air suddenly began to condense, and form thick streams of ice all about his blade, and around his arms. "HYOURINMARU!!!" Intertwining all about his body, was a great dragon formed of ice, a thick length of chain flowing from the hilt of his released moonblade. the serpintine ice dragon roared open its maws, as the surrounding trees began to wither under the proximity of such cold.

Hikaru could only stare, wide-eyed and open mouthed as she fell to her knees. The dragon of water and ice, formed by pure energy... not only that... It can even... control the weather...! The skies over the entire forest seemed to darken, and cloud, as the coldness creeped forward. This is the first time I've seen it. So this is... Captain Tekaru's... 'flame'. The only Kyonuske.. to not even use a flame: Hyourinmaru.

Tekaru suddenly swiped his blade forward, sending the entire ice dragon down towards Fumei, which came crahsing down in a heavy torrent, upon both Fumei and Hikaru, who stil had not moved. The trees nearby were buffeted, and instatly their bases were frozen over. Hikaru herself leapt forward and through the brunt of the torrent, and freed herself, but int he process ot her right arm frozen solid. "...!" So much water! Such a fast speed...! It's impossible to avoid...!

"WUUUUUUAH!" Tekaru swiped his blade downwards yet again, this time sending a crescent wave of ice and water at Fumei, who had landed on a neary branch. Fumei saw the crescent coming, and back flipped, landing on a branch behind her, then hopped further back wards, to land back on the ground, in a short skid... only to find her left arm snared by Tekaru's hilt chain.

He was right behind her. "...!!"

Her entire left arm was slowly being frozen over, as Tekaru held her arm down with the chain, twisting his blade so he could send it ramming forward into Fumei's back. Fumei only had her head turned, her eye staring directly at Tekaru, with a smirk.

"You're done for, FUMEI!!"

Fumei's eye only narrowed, killing intent showing through for perhaps the first time, as she spoke ever so softly. "Hikari no Mekurumeku. (Blinding Light)"

Her right hand inside of her own robes, she had aimed her palm directly at Tekaru's face, as a brillaint burst of blinding heat and light went off directly in the boy's face.

"KUH!" Falling backwards, his eyes shut tightly from the pain, Fumei's fingernails seemed to elongate, stretching and stretching, like sharp needles, going past Tekaru. "...Are you sure? If you dodge it, she-will-die."

Tekaru's eyes suddnely widened as he rolled to his stomach, yelling towardsAmaya's prone body. "...Ama---"

KECHANG

Fumei;s fingernails were stopped, blocked by a flowing black ribbon, which warped every so often, before billowing once more. Hikaru, Fumei and Tekaru stared on in huge shock and surprise...

"....Mitsuyo!"

There she stood, crouched right in front of Amaya's body, her ribbons having stopped the attack fromr eaching any further. "...I'm really sorry... I was going to head back as you instructed, but... I felt the temperature in the air change, so I turned around..." Mitsuyo's eyes narrowed toward Fumei. "...Please put away your sword, Captain Fumei." She slowly rose to her feet. "...If not, I will be your opponent...!"
