He saw another rock and shot Water Gun at it again. The rock let out a loud roar. Shoutaku jumped back and crouched down, ready to attack. The Graveler uncurled and glared at the Mudkip that had just attacked it for no reason. The pokemon was tough, though it took a huge beating from the water attack. The Graveler roared again as it used Rock Throw. Mudkip grinned and shot another Water Gun at Graveler, pushing him back and smashing it against the wall, causing debris to fall on it as curled up and rolled away in defeat.

"You're a huge brat sometimes, but I have to admit, you know how to fight when it's time to get serious." he said as he pet Shoutaku who was happily nibbling on the poffin. Nido tilted his head when he heard something fall from the wall and went over to investigate. After digging around, he found a rock that looked like a sheild and lifted it up onto his back. He walked around the group and showed off his new accessorie. Ricardo chuckled and looked at it. "Looks like you found a fossil over there."

Vhan grinned at Felix and Gigi. "I agree with Gigi. I hate making you do it, but we gotta cross the water to get back to the main land." he told the other boy.
At the thought of him sinking, he cringed. He didn't like getting wet very much as it was. This was just one more reason to follow Felix's lead and avoid it. "Don't remind me of that." he told her with a grimace.
He grinned at her as she carried Que over and laid the small Pokemon into the other boy's bag. "I may not know much about Pokemon in general, but I do know that Riolu evolve into Lucario so that's probably why he's so heavy. All that latent metal in his body's weighing him down." he reminded the older boy.
"And no, I don't think you'll change any." he told the other male as he took a few tentative steps, finding that his balance was much easier to keep with the added weight holding him down now. "I've noticed that it only affects normal humans." he admitted. "The Pokemon don't seem to be affected, and since you're already part Pokemon, I think you're safe." he said as he lead his love interest closer to the docks.
He could see sunlight streaming in through the cavern's entrance, but he was slowed down by the extra weight for now. He'd get used to it before too long and then he'd be up to normal speed.
{{Thanks for that and I finally know why I'm so exhausted lately. I don't sleep much normally so it seemed weird to be exhausted a tired all the time when I was sleeping the same amount and more. My allergies have been riled up by Easter Lily pollen over the last week and my spring allergic reaction is exhaustion and irritability. }}

Fern levered himself up away from the rock, and slowly started making his way out of the caverns. If they left him, they left him, nothing he could do about it.

Chloe was still on the beach, talking to Lantis. The Latios had landed, not really wanting to attract the attentions of Mikami, who was still dive-bombing party members at random.
For the most part, Lantis was silent, still not too trusting of his trainer. But he offered a mental response to a few of her questions, which pleased Chloe to no end. At least he wasn't ignoring her.
Entreri looked up from his sulking spot under the docks, ears perking up at the faint sound of voices coming from the mines. Looked like the others were nearing the entrance, he noted, before stretching, clawing his climb to the top of the docks where he perched on one of the pillars that lined the old wooden walkway.

Mikami spotted Entreri once he had come out of his hiding place beneath the docks. Grinning maliciously, the Flygon spun into a dive, determining his new target. Entreri was expecting something from Mika, however, as he turned last moment, claws flaring with ice. It didn't take the two long enough to get in another sqabble.
Chloe turned her attention from Lantis for the moment as the two of them looked to the docks where Entreri was taking on the Flygon. Chloe sighed, "The two of them really need to learn to get along," she muttered, shaking her head, knowing quite well the futility of that hope. Entreri was just too short-tempered, and Mikami was just too... well, himself.
However, as her attention was drawn to the shoreline, she noticed sails in the distance. It took her a moment to recognize the Wailord's Pride in the distance, but she soon determined that it was indeed the cargo ship heading towards the island from the north.

Vhan quietly led the way to the beach, finding himself stopping to giggle at Ricardo when the boy fell over. Before he had a chance to answer him, though, the hyper young trainer had rushed off again.
"I fancy a nice, long stroll through a really spooky, backwoods area." he commented to Felix, a bit offhandedly. "I haven't been anywhere creepy since I caught Shojo in that decrepit old mansion in the woods." he admitted.
It took him a few minutes of thinking to come up with a solution. "Well, I hear there's a Pokemon Graveyard near Solacion town. Wanna go there instead of chasing after the others?" he asked the blonde feline. He wanted the older's opinion. He'd find somewhere else to go if Felix didn't like that idea, especially if he didn't like spooky, haunted places full of ghosts, ghost Pokemon and possibly poltergeists and demons.
He made sure to keep the Ouija Board in his bag hidden from view.
