Kaleb shook his head tiredly, and smiled timidly. "N-no, I just don't want to distract you. It sounded like you were having trouble, a-and I didn't want to make you mess up any."

"Ya wouldn't 'ave messed me up. I'd have done that well enough on my own." He grinned at Kaleb. "Sure i'm not botherin ya? I can turn it off if ya want ta study"

Kaleb nodded. "I-I'm good, I've studied in more distracting places before." He flipped another page and moved onto the next set of diagrams. "Besides, i-it's still your apartment, you should be able to do what you want."

"If yer livin here it's our apartment" He flicked his game back on and went back to killing aliens and such. "So if i'm buggin ya then we've gotta come to a compromise"

"You're not bugging me though!" Kaleb said, poking Riley's leg with his foot. "If you were bothering me, I'd just pretend to go to bed or something and take my reading to where it was quieter."

He took his hand off his controller for a minuet and poked Kaleb's foot. "I guess that's good then. Though if ya wen't ta bed i'd just come with ya"

"I know, but it would still be quieter, and I could always say I couldn't sleep yet." He hid a yawn with one hand and smiled as he glanced back down at his book.

He laughed slightly as he went back to his game. "Jus tell me when yer tired and i'll turn it off." He didn't want to keep Kaleb too late and he'd never complain about extra sleep.

"I will, I want to get some reading done before I go to bed though." He yawned again and went back to his book, doing a decent job of ignoring the game noises and focusing on his reading.

"Okies." He went back to his game and decided to get as far as he could while Kaleb was reading.

Kaleb yawned a bit more as he read on, but eventually he just couldn't keep his head up anymore. He didn't think closing his eyes for a minute or two would hurt, but instead of going back to his reading he just fell asleep with his book in his lap.

He noticed Kaleb after a minuet and got up to turn off his game. Scrunching his nose he took the book off Kaleb's lap and scooped his partner up. It hadn't worked sleeping on the couch before so it defiantly wouldn't work this time.

Kaleb made a little noise in his sleep, but didn't wake up right away when he was picked up. Although his activities that day shouldn't have tired him out so badly on their own, it had been a big day for him. He didn't make it to the bedroom asleep though, halfway there he stirred and squirmed a bit.

"Careful or i'll drop ya." He managed to get Kaleb to bed and drop him carefully on the sheets. "Awake now huh?"

"Kinda," Kaleb murmured, blinking sleepily up at his partner. "I-I guess I should get ready for bed now." He found his pyjamas where he had put them before, and then glanced back up at Riley. "Can you turn around while I get changed, please?"
