Anekio looked straight ahead and saw Tori. That was easier than expected. She thought, shrugging it off. "Hey Tori-san, we've got a mission tomorrow. I figured it would be better for me to tell you the details." She smiled and stopped walking.

"I take it we're to search for the leader from earlier?" Tori asked when she reached Anekio. "Do you mind if we meet later? I need to speak with the Hokage about something important."

When Kei finished counting, he lay down on the ground to listen. After a moment he smiled and got back up. "This way, huh?" he then ran in the direction Mai-lin had gone in, stopping every now and again to see if he could sense her chakra, then moving on.

"I'll come find you as soon as I'm done speaking with the Hokage." Tori said. I should have enough time for that before my meeting with him... "Do you want to meet up at the tea house in an hour?"

Tori found the Hokage on the roof of the building looking over the village and up at the monument. "If you're hear, Tori-san, then it means your father didn't tell you everything."

She paused for a moment then nodded. "I know now that I was a shinobi from the Hidden Mist but not much else. I've been getting flashes and what I've been seeing is...horrible. I need you to tell me exactly what went on in the village I was found in. Please."

"Have you ever thought that some things are best left forgotten?" The Hokage said before turning to look at her. "I see you're going to be stubborn about though, so I will tell you. If you promise me you won't let this effect the mission tomorrow, I will tell you everything I know about what happened."

"I give you my word." Tori said and sat down on a bench.

"Konoha and the Wave had been trying to negotiate a peace between our villages and it was shaky. To prove that our intentions were innocent, we each sent some shinobi into each others countries to live for a while.

"I don't know what, but something happened in the village you were in that caused our shinobi to be attacked. Before that had happened, one of ours managed to send a message to me letting me know that things were becoming tense. I sent out another group to the village, knowing it'd only be a matter of time before fighting started.

"When this group got there, everyone was dead...except for you and the villagers who had left when the fighting started. From what we found, most of the Mist-nin and some of the Leaf-nin were killed with claws. The Leaf-nin who were killed were probably trying to attack and so you had no choice but to defend yourself. The rest you know or will have to remember on your own."

"I remember standing next to someone, one of the Leaf's that I'd become friends with, Inuzuka Li-wu. How was he killed?"

The Hokage thought back to that time. "It appeared to be from a kunai wound to the chest. I know what you're afraid of, Tori, but there were no claw marks on him. From the bodies around the two of you, it looked like you were trying to protect him from everyone else."

Tori felt tears rolling down her face but ignored them. "Thank you for telling me, Hokage-sama. I have to go now and meet with Anekio." She then got up and left. He told me two things I wanted to know. I didn't kill Li and that I'm a monster. Not only did I kill Leaf-nin, but I killed people who were supposed to be my allies. Why did the Hokage take me in if he knew who I was and what I did? I'll have to ask that another time.

Mai-lin closed her eyes, clamping her hands over her mouth. She could barely sense Kei's chakra so she knew she had to be quiet. She was trying her best to control her own chakra but every once in a while she could feel it flair up.

Anekio walked a little further into the park. Damn kids... She sighed, beginning to feel this task was a little tedious. Pausing a moment, she tried to locate somebody's chakra. She smirked, sensing a little of both Kei and Mai-Lin's chakra. "There we go," She mumbled, walking in the direction of the closest one.

Ninchein gathered some squirrel skulls and put them in his room, im gonna get so many skulls that idiot is going to be crushed alive when I use my jutsu he thought as he put them up on his wall, he laid down on his bed and fell into a light sleep

Ran woke up again and shifted, feeling a bit stiff. She wanted to work out that stiffness, but wondered if her legs would even hold her weight, at that time. There's always one way to find out.... Groaning slightly, she shifted and sat up. Letting out a slow sigh, she caught sight of the note. Grabbing it as she sat up in bed, she read it and let out another small sigh.
I can't return his feelings, i'm afraid... I just hope he doesn't get himself killed, is all... She didn't even want to think about the pictures he'd mentioned.
Swinging her legs off the side of the bed, she kept her hands on the bed as she put weight onto her legs. Finding them to be pretty stable, she gave a small smile.

Standing entirely on her own, Ran began stretching a bit, wincing at every small pull at her wounds, but continued on, reguardless of the pain. When she was done, she smiled and sat back down, petting Himi. "I wonder where everyone is, by now...." She murmered quietly.
