Ithildae looked harder, trying to see if the hallway ended.
"I don't see an end. But that's crazy. There has to be one."

"I guess the only thing to do is keep walking" Jake said. "Unless there some kind of secret entrane on the side of the wall, or the hallway looks this long by some trick, we have a long way to walk".

Ithildae nodded and started walking, looking for a door or some way out of the apparently endless hallway.

It was really dark in the hall, so Jake took out a lighter and started inspecting the walls very closely. Then he spotted something and beckoned Ithilldae over. "Look!" He said pointing to two symbols etched into the wall. "This one is Ophillian" Jake said pointing to the first symbol. "It means fire, but this second symbol looks Belian, do you know what it means?"

Ithildae ran her fingers over it, frowning. "That one means fire? That's strange..." she murmured. "This one means 'partnership', or it can sometimes mean 'marriage', depending on the context." she said. "That makes no sense."

"Well..." said Jake, thinking hard. "The parnership one could have something to do with a Belian and an Ophillian working together, but i'm not sure about the fire part... Maybe we both have to light the symbols on fire or something, but that's kind of wierd."

"Light solid rock on fire?" asked Ithildae dubiously. "I don't know. Maybe it's a reference to a past partnership that ended badly."
She traced the symbols with her finger.

I wish I could go with them." and searched something usefyl from pockets and took four gems out of his pocket "All the Chaos Gems... I don´t remeber having all of them only emerald." Pic´s from fight with Chronos started flash on his eyes "Now I remeber what happened."

Ithildae paused, still looking at the symbols. "I don't think so. They don't have the...the feeling of a warning. It's more like a...a hint or a suggestion of some kind. I know that sounds silly, but it's true."

Jake shrugged his shoulders. "Well, we don't seem to be coming to any answers, and I don't see a point in staring at these symbols all day, so I guess we have to keep walking."

Jake started walking slowly behind Ithilldae, so there was a bit of a distance between the two. Seeing a Belian and an Ophillian symbol together was strange. Jake didn't believe in destiny, but it did seem like too much of a coincidence that they, a Belian and a Ophillian would find these symbols.
