"I know what you mean." Kaya agreed with a smile. "We used to get the occasional snow flurry back in Pastoria, but it never snowed like this back there." the man looked up at the sky and closed his eyes, imagining something. "I hear, if you're extremely lucky, you can catch the rarest of events here. They call it Diamond Dust and it's supposed such a perfect snow that every single flake glitters like a diamond." The look on his face turned to pure bliss as he imagined himself and Bray racing across the landscape in such a scene.
Finally opening his eyes, his eyes grazed the area until they fell on the PokeCenter. "That's so true. The idea of Pokemon Centers must have been the Gods' gift to mankind. Whoever thought it up, must have known it would help the fostering of relationships between Pokemon and Humans." After a few moments, he snapped out of his reverie and offered Bray a smile so bright it might have melted the snow around him.
"Time to go find ourselves a ride, though!" With that, and a playful laugh, he raced past Bray in the direction of the docks.

((Yeah, Flyff is definitely more fun when there's a friend online to play along with. When I log on, I'll usually only last a few minutes if none of my friends are on. I guess I get distracted easily.))
Brayden easily agreed with Kaya's description of Diamond Dust. It sounded perfect. While the landscape around the couple was undeniably beautiful, Brayden couldn't help a small part of him wish that perhaps someday, the two of them would be lucky enough to catch such an event. That would be a sight to remember, without any doubt in his mind. He tried to picture it, but couldn't quite get it down. But by then, Kaya was racing past him towards the docks.
Smiling slightly at the unspoken challenge, Brayden took off at a run after his prince. Aella caught the race in her sight, one of her heads informing the other at what was going on. After a discussion between the two, both heads chirruping happily, the Doduo took off at a run as well. While she could have easily outpaced Brayden a few times over, she intentionally kept her footspeed at a reasonable pace, so she could trot a little behind her trainer. Although her twin heads did have a little competition between themselves as to who would actually win the race.
While Brayden found running in the snow to be a bit different, he didn't have a hard time when he stuck to the hard-packed snow of the streets, so for the most part, that's what Bray did.
The crisp cold air burned a bit in his lungs, but it was a refreshing feeling, as Bray cut around the Pokecenter, careful to not cut too sharp a corner, for fear of spilling on the snow. Aella kept easy pace.
Feeling a bit mischievous, Bray cut through a shortcut, leaping around a bench on the sidewalk, nearly catching his bag on the corner (which would have put a rather abrupt and untimely stop to his chase), and hopped over a snowbank that was near the side of a small house labeled "Move Tutor" on a hand-painted sign by the door.
Aella simply leaped, making it completely over the bench, bank, and snow, to land perfectly on the road behind it.
"Show off..." Brayden muttered.
Hoping that cut off a bit of time from his run, Brayden continued to dash towards the docks.

{{Same here, for the most part. I've spend about half an hour killing Catsy's in the Forsaken Tower solo today. There were a few other people there but they were speaking some freaky language I could never have understood to ask them to Party Up. Also, freaky as in there were groupings of letters that shouldn't be physically possible to pronounce. Like "Jbkluncian" or something like that.}}
Kaya giggled freely at as he heard Bray take off. He'd opted for a slightly harder coarse. He was following side roads that were rarely traveled, thus trekking through nearly waist deep snow. Forcing his way through as if he were a plow he cut through as many roads as he could manage before he came out on the far side of the PokeCenter.
Unsurprisingly, Brayden had managed to get rather far ahead of him. He could just faintly make out the male's form in the distance, heading for the docks. "Craaaaap!" he complained as he realized his mistake. Sighing in resignation, he climbed up onto the harder, packed snow on the roads and followed his lover's lead.
Trojana flew overhead, watching curiously to see who would win. She was inwardly contemplating this event. Human mating is such a strange thing... she thought to herself as she watched the males.
Kaya was panting from his exertions as he caught up to where he'd first seen Brayden ahead of him. Surely the male had made it to the docks already. He gasped for air, the frigid bursts chilling his lungs with every breath. It was slightly painful, but invigorating nonetheless. He knew it only hurt slightly because he was overheated from the race. that knowledge spurred him onward, though and he raced on. Hopefully he'd catch up before Bray made it.

((That's cool. I've never actually tried the Forsaken Tower on my own before. I've been there while I was leveling someone. Weird on the language, though. I've never seen anything like that...))
Brayden didn't notice at first that he had gained such a lead on Kaya, but when he looked to judge the distance between the two, he realized that he could no longer see his love. Slightly confused, Bray unconsciously slowed, turning to look behind him. It was then he spotted the gold of Kaya's coat, swaying as the other male ran.
Brayden smiled, but it was more because he had found Kaya, rather than the sizeable lead he had on the pirate prince. Aella hadn't noticed Bray turning, and was still squabbling with her two heads, trying to determine whether if the foot corresponding with each head's side counted as who was in the lead. Needless to say the argument was getting nowhere.
But Aella was going, although after Brayden turned, she unwittingly crossed paths with the water trainer. Brayden tripped up, as Aella squawked, hopping agilely out of the way. But Brayden was already ground-bound. He let out a yelp, but it was cut off as Brayden vanished into a snowdrift. The powdery snow flew up, cushioning his fall, but he found that it was rather deep, vanishing altogether from view.
Aella chirped a protest at being tripped over, and hopped up to perch lightly on the bank Bray had vanished into.

{{It's pretty good for AoEing, as long as you're built for it. The enemies are all super close together and respawn pretty quickly. It's guaranteed that you'll never be able to have them all killed off at once on your own. AoE Parties are even better. You're always in range of your party, for the most part, so you're always gaining experience as long as someone's killing}}
Kaya watched his husband turn to look for him, smiling when he could see, very faintly, the change in Brayden's face when he was seen.
That smile turned to a grimace as he saw his lover topple over into the soft crystals. He rushed to the male's aid, finding him quite easily considering the imprint he'd left in the snow. "Need a hand, sexy?" he asked as he knelt down and offered a hand to help the male climb out of the drift.
Trojana watched as she flew overhead, the docks not far beyond. She decided she could get a ship and headed to the waters, ducking low to get a good view of the ships there. The humans onboard most of them seemed rather distracted, but one of them spoke of heading to the Northern Isle soon. And so she dived down and landed on the ship's deck. The sailors, surprised as they were to have a Skarmory land on their ship an in this weather no less, were more startled by the metallic shriek that issued forth to call to her Trainer and his mate.

"Mm, just maybe," Brayden murmured sheepishly, taking the offered hand as he pulled himself back up out of the snow. While he still had plenty of white stuck to his clothes, underneath it, you could still see some of the black and blue of his clothing.
Aella laughed, both heads chirping.
"You hush, it was your fault in the first place," Brayden sighed, which only made Aella laugh harder. It wans't her fault her trainer was clumsy. Maybe he really did need this other human around. Two heads were better than one after all.
Unsuccessfully patting at his clothes to dislodge some of the snow (he did manage to get some of it off, though), Bray gave up, standing up straight.
"Lesson one, watch where you're going," he stated, pretending to jot something down in an invisible notebook.
"Lesson two, travel with a buddy," he smiled to Kaya, before adding a pretend side note, "It helps if said buddy is attractive beyond all reason..."
Tucking away the invisible pad, Brayden winked, pointing to the docks where Trojana had called.
"Looks like we found a ride. Shall we?" he asked.

Kaya snickered at the exchange between Bray and the bird(s?). "You know, those extra heads are the reason I've always been scared of catching an Exeggcute." he admitted as he assisted the male in dusting the melting snow from his clothing.
He stood back and bray jotted down his mental notes, smiling brightly. "Can I sit in on those lessons, Teach?" he asked, playfully. "Or would I get marked down for consorting with the teacher in inappropriate ways?" he snickered softly before nuzzling the male's neck tenderly for a few moments.
At the sound of Trojana's call, he looked toward the docks, seeing her steely form on the dock of the ship she'd picked out. "Hm! Looks like it." He laughed as he thought about how odd it must seem to the sailors to have a large, steel bird commandeering your ship. "Well, let's get moving before they break out the torches and pitchforks."

Brayden laughed, "She's actually not that bad once you get used to it. I admit I was a bit weirded out at first. The idea of one body holding two... I guess organisms would be a working term? Either way, the idea of two in one was a bit unsettling. But once I got used to her, or I guess them? It wasn't that bad. She does cause her fair share of trouble, though," he laughed, looking to the Doduo. Aella and her two heads nodded in unison. She wouldn't have it any other way.
The comment on the lessons had Bray smirking slightly, "I dunno, in my class, marking down for troublemaking would be a good thing. You might just enjoy it," he winked. The nuzzle brought a light moan of appreciation.
"I can already tell you're a fast learner," he breathed, "You might very well become my top pupil. If you don't mind being teacher's pet," he chuckled.
He looked up as Kaya picked out Trojana's form, perched atop the dock. He smiled, realizing the reaction of the sailors to having such a unique bird perching nearby. Hopefully they would assume it to belong to a trainer. While he doubted pitchforks would do any harm to the Skarmory, she probably wouldn't enjoy the hypothetical torches.
"I'm with you," he agreed easily, looking to Aella to make sure she would follow. The Doduo seemed eager to get back moving again. While she didn't have too much of a problem in the cold, it would still be nice to get to a warmer area. Brayden was mostly inclined to agree, despite the innate beauty of Snowpoint.
So he made his way towards the docks, heading towards Trojana's choice in passage.

Kaya nodded to Bray's explanation. "I think it's weirder to me that she has two brains functioning separately from each other than that she's two heads on the same body." he remarked. "I really think 'they' and 'them' are better pronouns for them." he opined.
"Hehe, I can handle being teacher's pet. I hear they get special benefits." he giggled at the implications. Especially considering the age group he was referring to.
He chased after Bray quite easily, following the crimson feathers in Trojana's wings. He had to admit he liked letting his husband take the lead. He quite enjoyed the view when he was in the rear of their duo.

I'm in a mini rp with some friends in another guild and our chars are trying to get one of mine, who's a virgin, hooked up with another person's chara and they're all getting a good perverted laugh at his expense. The water trainer continued walking up ahead, oblivious to his onlooker (although he probably would have enjoyed it, had he realized), keeping tabs on where Trojana was to see what would be the best route along the docks. Being a port town, despite its remote location, Snowpoint held several different docks. Bray didn't really feel like backtracking, so he made sure to get the path right the first time.
Brayden continued on towards the docks, finally making it off the path and onto the wooden planks that covered the port. Aella trotted ahead of him, looking down over the edge of the dock, mesmerized at the sight of the frozen chunks of ice that floated along the surface of the water. She had never seen anything of the kind before. One head reached down to peck at a chunk of ice, instantly delighted to see it break away, floating off with the current. Careful not to fall in, the Doduo messed around for a little while, as Brayden caught up.
Something caught Brayden's eye as he was making his way towards the boat that Trojana had chosen. Something glistened between two boards, wedged in tight. Curious, Brayden knelt, discovering it to be a Sun Stone.
"Huh..." Brayden murmured, trying to pry the stone from between the planks. It took a bit of elbow grease, but he finally pulled the golden stone from the dock.
"This'll come in handy for Mel, might as well keep it," he muttered to himself, tucking it away in a pocket for later. He stood back up, locating the Skarmory once again, before joining alongside the steely bird. Aella finally finished playing ice-tag, so she trotted alongside her trainer, as they waited for Kaya.

{{Gah! I'm seriously not myself tonight. I've had this insatiable urge to bite people and taste another person's blood all night. I think it was something about the atmosphere at the club I went to tonight because I've felt fine since coming home.}}
Kaya followed along happily enough. He just couldn't wait to sink his teeth into that tender flesh again. Metaphorically speaking.
It wasn't very hard to keep up with his lover, though he simply strolled along in the rear of the pack, watching Brayden pry the Sunstone from the planks of the dock. It was only a matter of minutes before he caught up on the ship and waved to the crew. "Can we get passage to the Northern Island?" he requested of them.
One of them, the one who appeared to be the captain, nodded. He still seemed rather shocked at the presence of the Skarmory on his ship.
"Oh, Trojana. Why don't you come back and let these nice men get on with their business." he suggested to the Steel bird as he returned her to her Pokeball.

Brayden waited as Kaya requested assistance in getting to their destination, Aella standing by, both heads bobbing gently as she did... whatever it was two entities did while thinking simultaneously.
Bray understood why Trojana was recalled, the Skarmory could be intimidating. And he didn't want to give a bad impression to the sailors. He didn't want it to seem like they were trying to bully their way onto the ship.
He figured Aella had a lesser intimidate value, so he kept her out for now. Although he probably would recall her when it came time to sail. He didn't want to have to deal with double seasickness if she didn't take too well to the waves.
Aella spotted a Machoke helping to load the boat with cargo. The hefty muscular Pokemon was easily carrying a load that several men would have taken multiple trips to acomplish. The Doduo considered the sight for a moment, before one head decided she'd like to challenge the Machoke to a match. After all, she wanted to prove that she could be just as strong as that muscle head.
So the Doduo dove in, before Bray could stop her, squawking out her challenge to the loading Pokemon.
The Machoke turned, regarding the Doduo carefully. He set down his armful of crates, before nodding his agreement to the match. Thankfully Aella had given enough warning to her newfound opponent, and hadn't charged right in with an attack.
But once she got the go-ahead, the Doduo did in fact charge. She leaped, dodging the Machoke's dive, and aimed back downwards, using a Fly attack to land the first blow. The Machoke caught on quickly, for as Aella moved to leap again, he caught her, snagging the Doduo from the air, and using a Seismic Toss, slamming her back down to the docks. Aella was dazed for a moment, but managed to dive out of the way of the Machoke's follow through. The Doduo leaped up the mast, perching on one of the crossbeams while she gathered her bearings, out of reach of the fighting type.
Once she could see clearly, Aella dove down again in a Fly attack, effectively defeating the Machoke, who signaled that the fight was over. Aella hopped down, chirping happily at her accomplishment. Brayden was a bit miffed that she had gone off and interrupted the Machoke's work, but the Pokemon didn't seem upset by it, or even by the loss. It simply went back to finishing up loading the cargo onto the ship.
"You really shouldn't do that," Brayden muttered, as Aella pranced happily back to his side, "Good fight nonetheless, but next time, don't go challenging at random, kay?" Bray decided that now would be a good time to recall the Doduo, before she started up more trouble. So he called back Aella, giving her a bit of a rest for the time being.

Kaya watched Aella's little challenge with a funny grin. "Haha, you shouldn't go challenging everyone in sight." he warned her before Brayden returned the twin-bird to her Pokeball.
The ship's captain looked to the two boys and smirked. "Ya boys mind 'elpin' us load the 'old 'fore we shove off?" he asked, his voice rough from many years of sparring with the frigid winds and frozen seas around the area.
Kaya shook his head no and grabbed two Pokeballs. He released Aoi and Loki. "Guys, you mind helping the Machoke load the ships hold?" he asked of the two. "Sceptile!" Loki agreed with a smile in his eyes. He rushed to the Machoke that was already doing so and got instructions. Aoi simply nodded and followed after Loki.
The Sceptile's strength was nowhere near the Machoke's but he managed. Aoi, on the other hand, decided to be a show off and used his mental prowess to carry three times what Machoke was capable of. With the three working together, the ship was loaded in no time at all.
With that taken care of, Kaya recalled his two Pokemon, hearing the captain a moment later. "Alright Mates, we're shovin' off. We'll be at the Battle Frontier's front doors in a matter of hours."
As the gangplank was pulled up, a small Snover was discovered on the far end of it. Kaya quickly released Tintreach to battle. Tin rushed forward, dropping down into a low slide, sweeping the Snover off it's feet with a Low Kick. Snover retaliated with an Icy Wind, blowing the freezing gusts at the Elekid as hard as it could manage. Tin shivered slightly but shook off the cold and pulled off a second Low Kick, knocking the Snover off balance again. Snover growled softly as it's hands began to sparkle. It unleashed a heavy, blinding mist into the area, protecting itself from further harm. Or so it thought.
Tin rushed in, catching the Ice type off guard with yet another Low Kick. Snover, despite it's Mist, used another Icy Wind, blowing most of the stuff away as it chilled Tin to his core once more. "That's enough, Tin." Kaya called as he pulled a different Pokeball from his belt. "Curtain call, Loki." He released the Sceptile and watched as the Pokemon squared off. Loki smirked as he crossed his bladed arms and concentrated. His fern like tail gave off an eerie light as draconic energy began to emanate from it. The Pokemon slashed his arms out and unleashed the energy in a Dragon pulse. Snover cringed as the powerful attack slammed into it, shrieking as another Icy Wind issued forth. Loki called upon his inner dragon yet again and finished off the dual type, sending his fellow Grass Type barreling through the air and back onto land.
"Nice job, you two." the ex-prince praised as he rubbed both their heads. The Pokemon smiled and returned themselves to their Pokeballs.

((Oh no, sorry to hear that. Hope things start looking up again soon. You can definitely take it as a good sign that you've already had someone ask you out, though.))
Once the ship was ready to set sail, Brayden watched as the sailors raised the gangplank. He was thankful that they let them aboard for their passage, it was a much better idea than trying to Fly their way to the island. For one, he really had no real good grasp on where it was in the Sinnoh ocean.
So Brayden set back to watch as Kaya battled against the stray Snover, knocking back the grass/ice type to shore. Bray smiled, "Good shot," he commented, watching the dazed Snover waddle off.

But with the immediate threat of freezing to the ship out of the way, the man found a seat and watched Snowpoint drift out of view.
