*Draping her arm over the side of the tub, Kalie's fingertips lightly tapped along the surface still lost in thought, not to be pulled back until her digits tripped over a series of small buttons near the matching tiled base. Rousing herself from her daydream, her upper body would become meshed into the smooth side as she peered down rather curiously at the discovery a little bit below her. With her forefinger hovering over the one on the far right, she watched as a thin river of hot water, originating from the soaked ends of her tresses, pooled just off to the side. Giving it a soft push, Kalie jumped in surprise as a turret of openings on the lower walls of the bath began to softly hum and spring to life. Laughing softly, she shook her head, after their brief dip in the hot tub safely hidden away in the TCM gardens, Kalie should have guessed Tor would put one or two in the house. Sinking back into the water, Kalie slipped back into a relax state, enjoying the jets of water gracing over her body in a light massage.*

*As the water rushed out of the jets, the decent in temperature actually began to decline faster, leaving the bath somewhere between warm and cool. Not something you wanted to lay in for very long, a lesson Kalie quickly learned, as her hands searched around the bottom for the drain. Retreating from the bath, she had the towel back around her in no time, only this time Kalie made sure to cover more than just her hips. By the time she gathered up her fallen pants and undergarments, an affirmative gurgle from the tub told her most of the water had already made itself scarce.*

*Following the trail of clothing back into the master bedroom, Kalie paused just outside the door, the dark green of her shirt trapped between her fingertips as her eyes gradually traveled up. Only to search the room in vain. The further her timid steps directed her into the room, the more Kalie's senses took in. The soft Jazz aiding in the softest of laughs as she crossed the room, having left the rumbled clothing in a basket for another time. Even this close to the bed, Kalie couldn't see Tor with her own eyes, but that didn't mean she couldn't feel him. The same deep feeling that enveloped her while within Torment's embrace was coursing through her now.*

Vincent idly shifted at the foot of the bed, glancing up and looking at the body there, wondering how much longer it would take. Although, he hated to admit it though, but he liked being this close to Torment. It gave him a sense that he wasn't unwanted in this world (albeit, it was odd to feel that around that man in particular) He contemplated his life over in his head, thinking about little things he could ahve done better for friends... but no use in pining over the past.

And as for the wonderful event, it wouldn't be good for Vince. He had to feel it, and he actually wasn't too fond of sex, believe it or not. Just no point to it in his mind, past a few seconds of pleasure that he really didn't need. Just... eww, Torment. ((^.^))

For a brief moment Torment hovered over Kalie, content to just be near her, but not entirely. He smiled weakly as his thoughts became clouded with the facts that his body was less than operable, and definately wasn't up to the task at hand, though who ever knew Torment to be one to be stopped by a simple obstacle called injury? Well, in this world at least. He slowly lowered himself over Kalie, his right hand tracing up her side as it left behind a glowing blue trail that felt alive with energy. He slowly brought it up to caress her face for a moment before kissing her lightly upon the lips, leaving behind a faint glimmer that was reminiscent of extreme cold, though was just the opposite, filled with warmth and passion. He slowly pulled back and mustered all his strength as he leaded back to whisper into her ear, "I love you too. Now...hold on...to...some..thi..."ng. His strength had left him once more, returning his words to thoughts within his own mind. For a brief moment he seemed to fade from existance once more, but when he returned, it was almost as if with a vengeance. A faint purple glow had pulled itself into existance in the shape of some majestic bird, well known to the two. The Pheonix would be reborn again, but not today. Today it's fires were directed to one place, Kalie's heart. With a brief flash emanating from the very heart of the bird it dispersed and seemed to drain down into her as all went black, leaving a fine cloud of dust hanging in midair.

Gifts Yet Ungiven (you may now read it! ^_^)

Vince sat at the foot of the bed quietly, and played with a piece of fire that danced about. He felt something inside of him, but he ignored it. The gnawing had goine down a little bit, but it still gnawed. Ugh, it hurt.

Torment lay as little ore than a spent heap on the ground at the foot of the bed, nothing more than a disembodied soul. After Kalie was gone he slowly pulled himself to his feet, passing through the floor before slowly righting himself. He'd get this done if it killed him. Now that he was a bit more rational he felt ready to beat the s**t out of his ghostly a** self for engangering Kalie the way he had. Sure, there had been a wonderful kiss, but any longer or without his wings and she could have been lost to him forever. He slowly made his way towards his body, berating himself and beating himself up all along the way. He followed closely behind Kalie, finally given up because he knew it wouldn't help.

The soul of Torment moved around the room and stood just next to Kalie, reaching his hands out and placing them around hers. For a brief moment a twinge of pain coursed through her arm as a brief blue glow ran up her arm from the contact. To her everything would seem to go black as she fell into a state not unlike unconsciousness.

In her unconscious state her soul awakened in a field of black just like before, but this time Torment did not begin to sing, he merely crouched next to her and offered her a hand up, "Sorry, no song this time, we don't have much time. I need you to go to the Teleportation Circle when you wake up. It should be set already."

Torment smiles as she wraps her arms around him, and takes it one step further, well, maybe two. He swept her off her feet into the embrace, pressing his lips to hers in a kiss. He broke off suddenly as he let her down though, "I....felt that." After a brief pause he renewed the kiss and the embrace with a renewed energy, though it would all fade away as consciousness crept back up upon Kalie.
