Brother Captain. He's required for the Termi squad, so I listed him, like the Justicars.

Gotcha. In that ten points that you have left over, I'd say to put Psycannon Bolts on someone, likely one of the Justicars. I'm trying to think what else would work to eat up that remaining ten points and nothing is really coming to mind.

Haha. Only reason I didn't realize what it was is that I've not put together a decent Grey Knight list in ages.

Caleidah Looks like a solid list. For Grey Knights, you've got a decent ability to hold the line. That Justicar Targeter is going to make an awesome rules lawer for you to pelt stuff on the border of your range. The Dreads...I love GK dreads. They overcome the biggest falling in normal Dreadnoughts, which is dying like a punk to long range anti-tank. The Shrouding will protect them enough to keep at max range and let it fly with their Autocannons and Missiles.Just double checked this; Grey Knight Dreads don't have the Shrouding. In fact, GKD's don't have ANY of the Grey Knight special rules. Daemonhunters Codex, page 20 Throughout this codex the term Grey Knights refers to the following units: Grey Knights squad, Grey Knights Teleport Attack Squads, Grey Knight Purgation Squads, Grey Knight Terminators, Grey Knight Heroes, Justicars and Brother Captains.

Ah, yeah. I forgot about that and, to be honest, it's absolutely ridiculous that GK vehicles don't benefit from Shrouding. They are crewed by Grey Knights (or they should be) and, even if the Dread is silent, there would be vox points all over the outside, blasting litanies and prayers to beat the GKs themselves.
I can see that becoming an upgrade in the future, similar to how the Blessed upgrade gives them the Aegis power.

Even with the new 'Rules' for the Grey Knight Dreadnaught he is still not granted the ability of Shrouding (which is silly). All that it updates is the fact you can have him Pyscannon really, his stat line-up stays the same and such. Although I do agree on that the Dreadnaught should be given Shrouding, since Terminators do, and they are huge too, so size isn't really an issue, however it may be deemed a little unfair for a armoured walker to have the ability to pop smoke (Smoke Launchers) and have the Shrouding, as it could simply have a Lascannon, sit back and pummel enemy heavy support while being untouchable from their long ranged heavy support. Anyways, so what types of army are people fielding with the Grey Knights later? (Since 5th?) I have turned to using Land Raiders now. (Note I only use Grey Knights, no inquisition in my army). Each Land Raider being fitted out with the usual stuff. Smoke Launchers, Extra Armour and of course being filled up with Grey Knights who would be carrying Incinerators (Nothing like popping out the front hatch of a Land Raider to turn some enemy into ashes.). I usually play 2000 points or up, and my 2000 point army basically consists of the Grand Master with his Terminator Retinue. Three Land Raiders and Three Squads of Grey Knights, and so far, this army list have shown it's worth time and time again! So I was just wondering, what do you guys play?

Mostly people field Marines or Guard with an Inquisitor and mystiqs, for the free shooting at deep-strikers.

Yeah, it's more effective to play like that, I admit, however I just can't resist seeing a fully fledged Grey Knight Army. Just looks so cool, and makes it a much much more challenging game.

True, maybe with 2011 the Inquisition codex with revised GK rules will pop up and bring them back to full strength.

Yeah. Hopefully. The main reason we 'suck' so hard is the massive price, and of course that is due to being quite heavy with 'Physic' users and when our Codex was made, you had to pay though the teeth to have Physics in the army.
