Kurai smiled at the conversation the two were having. The child was so talktive. And kurai soon began to daze out as she saw her teacher's lips moving but no words. He was bending fire and flashing warm smiles to the new kid. "aiya...sensei..." She mumbled before her body went limp like a noodle. Falling to her knees her face made contact with the cold cement. She laid by her teacher's bed. She wasn't harmed, luckly, just extremly tired. She fought a powerful bender which she can't even remember half of the fight. Then she had to carry her 6ft. 21 year old teacher all the way to the room. Plus the fact she hadn't slept for an enitire day or two. What could be expected from Kurai.

Fulgar frowned at Kurai collapsing his face softened and he said "told you" he hated her sitting on the floor like that "oh Kurai..." a new energy burned in him one that he knew could help lift Kurai to the bed. Swinging his legs over the bed he grimaced with the pain very gently he lowered himself to the floor where Kurai lay. He looked to the kid and said "I cant do this by myself, you know."

The energy was pushing him far enough that he was moving, almost normally, though still rather stiff. He leaned over his ribs protesting with all their might and began to lift Kurai. Her legs folded over his arms. He laid her on the bed and pulled covers over her, then collapsed in an arm chair breathing hard any energy there was in him had officially left.

He relaxed the arm chair and laid back, “I’m gonna get some sleep now.”

"Niima... What... why...?" He began to ask slowly, he had no idea what had just hapened, or why Niima was so frantic, The wounds from her fight with Kurai... Well, they were gone, all she had now was a bunch of raggedy clothes and a bit of cut hair. Her arm didn't even seem to be hanging loosely like before. He knew he had worried about her before, moment before in fact. But now he couldn't understand why he did. There had to be physical evidence of why he was worried... Had he gotten drunk? Did Kazuki have some kind of delayed black-out poison in the tea they'd drunk long before? For some reason, Niima was frantic, wanting him to sleep. Well, why make Niima worry, right?

Taizen nodded, laying down a bit as though he suddenly realized how tired he was. “Why was I so scared…?” He asked slowly, bringing his left hand up to rub his eyes. Apparently he knew that his right was broken, because he made no effort to use it. He just… Well… It didn’t seem to pain him anymore… It was covered in whatever had caused him to black out. He couldn’t feel the pain, but he knew It was broken. Really things just seemed that simple to him now, there didn’t even seem like a reason to investigate the matter further. In all honesty, Taizen just wanted to sleep, it didn’t even interest him that sleeping was what Niima wanted for him. He was numbed by a powerful anesthetic that made him feel like he was floating, and the only thing heavy about him were his eyelids… So heavy… Why not… Just…

The temple seemed almost deserted. He found no one and no one was responding to any of his attempt to lure someone. So he decided to take his leave and return to this temple another time.

Why did he seem so ..confused. That really did not help her worry of him. And seeing him ask 'why was i so scared' her eyes softened. He was scared..because of her? Because of her wounds? But why did he not remember now? She swallowed her worry as he laid to rest and she watched for a moment as he drifted off to sleep. She would see how much he would remember when he woke.

While he slept she took up a rag and dipped it into the left over water. Very tenderly she went about cleaning Taizen's face, very careful not to disturb his slumber. So many things ran through her head as she found herself constantly..watching his face in his slumbering state. Had he been..that worried about her? To push himself to the point that he hurt himself..to make himself forget? Did he really care...that much? She figured she was still a 'project' to him..but this knowledge gave her a warm fuzzy feeling. She was happy..but..worried. That attached it made it even more worrying that..she could lose him. Snap too girl! She blinked and shook her head. Stop thinking like that. Taizen is a strong person. A strong bender. He said he would protect you..and his healing was a way of doing that..stop freting!

She sighed as she convenced herself of this and went about cleaning Taizen's arms and neck, placing any ointment along the way. When she realized of his broken arm, she chuckled a bit to herself. Two of a kind they where..even got the same wound! She pulled the leather torso wrap off and began to clean it. She would use this to wrap Taizen's broken arm several time until the leather acted like a thick cast. Wrapped so many times it would be hard for him to even bend his arm. She would wrap that over with bandages until he woke. That way he didn't move it in his sleep and whatnot. She would tend all the wounds she saw. First cleaning then using ointment and bandaging those she could.

Once she was done she placed the tray on the floor and settled into the chair, that way Taizen could have the bed to himself. Lounging in the hardwood chair she would slouch, hands clasped over her stomach. That was when she realized..her arm ..her back..both where ...like new..her eyes began to droop as she watched Taizen slumber. He truly was an amazing person..She was in between the idea of falling asleep or checking on Kurai and Fulgar. For now she would keep watch over Taikai and Taizen while the two ideas where juggled.

(considering you justs kind of popped in while everyone is recovering from a fight, you can't expect everyone to drop everything to greet a new person. If you want to get involved you have to wait patiently =P)

Fulgar Acheron...I like this man. Musei relaxed, letting his hands fall back down to his sides. "Thanks." Musei looked briefly for a chair, finding none open, and decided to sit next to the firebender. "So...why is there a firebender in Air territory? Isn't that illegal or something like that?" He nodded at the woman Fulgar mentioned. "Nice to meet you."

He continued, now realizing that this man was giving him an unharnessed source to question. Seeing as how he was technically a bender himself, but understood and knew nothing, he needed help. He always figured that it was best to ask questions. "So...what does it mean to be a strong bender? Does it mean to do more than just manipulate your element?" To emphasize the point, he blew a stray leaf across the floor, up into the air, and to a bin.

"I'm a bender, I guess. I come from the borders of the Air territory, and I can...'manipulate' air, I guess." Musei wanted to slap himself at his repetitive nature. He just had never been so worked up before. "But all I can do is move things like leaves. Anything heavier and it takes all my energy. You know what I'm saying?"

"I was once the same way" Fulgar stated, remember how at one point he could do no more than ignite his hands. "To be strong bender is not just to manipulate your element or be strong, bending is an art form, being the strongest bender will not help you in a battle; being the smartest will." He tried very hard to convey his ideas, it was more complicated than it seemed, bending was more than just controlling an element, it was an art, if anything the bender is a guide to the element not a controller.

Musei blinked. "An...an art?" It didn't make sense. He just saw the raw carnage that was happening between the benders, and he calls this art? "Are you trying to say that benders don't just use the element?"

((gah...short))

Even thou she was tired kurai looked with squinted eyes at her teacher and the boy talking. She listened carefully to what he was saying and how he,the boy, responded. She mumbled underneath the blankets that went up past her nose, which made it very difficult to understand anything she said with her weak voice.

A smile crept across his weary face "yes, an art, the movements need to be precise and crisp. Like the stroke of a brush. You must be thinking of what you saw outside, what you witnessed was a dance, a fight between benders is just that! A dance, a deadly dance."

Kurai's voice mumbled under the blankets, Fulgar looked at her realizing how tired he was.

"That's right, benders dont really use the element at all, we are mere guides of the element. We guide the element, we ask it to do what we want, and it obliges. Now, Musei, if you would be so kind as to excuse me, I am very tired from today's events I would like some sleep now." He made a gesture to the door to excuse the young man, "I'd show you to the door, but I dont think my legs are up to it."

"Mmm...!" Taizen groaned/mumbled/growled in his sleep. Attempting to roll over on his side, but failing due to the splint on his arm. It would seem Taizen found discomfort from something... And the sound that Taizen made, however slight, seemed to stir Taikai as well.

"Niima.... Your worrying him..." Taikai called drowsily from his bed, from his position, he could see Niima's hawk-like eyes, in order to put Niima's mind at rest, or atleast off of Taizen, Taikai decided to try and entertain her. That was his thoughts as he began to sit up, rubbing his eyes tenderly, his arms had been healed but it was not long before when he could not even move them. It was as strange as riding a bike after several years. Yes, you never forget, but it's strange.

"Your eyes could burn holes in those you stare at." Taikai finished once he was sitting up as straight as he could, his hand on his lower back, he held back a sigh. Even Taizen's waterbending couldn't help his rheumatism...

She nearly fell out her chair hearing Taikai. Was she really staring at Taizen that hard? Her cheeks grew crimson real quick like as she lowered her gaze to her hands. Was that why he seemed so disturbed in his sleep? Because she was staring?

"Um..sorry. I am just worried about him. He wore himself out so much healing my wounds.." If her voice didn't reflect her guilt, her face surely did. She almost seemed to sulk as she spoke the last sentence. "He was so dazed out after healing me. He seemed so confused..like he couldn't remember anything." Her eyes rose and she looked over to Taikai as he rubbed his back. "Taikai? Can..can a waterbender die by healing too much?"

She sat up slowly, her body not really wanting to follow her orders. It was exhausted and she was trying to force movement. Sitting forward she rested her elbows on her knees, looking over to Taizen for a split second before looking back to Taikai. "Um...maybe you should go visit the bathhouse..? Then when you get back you can explain to me..what happened..How did you get hurt?"

Musei nodded. "Of course, Fulgar. I hope to see you later." He picked himself off of the floor, nodding also to Kurai. "You too." He exited the 'hospital' room, and walked out to the edge of the temple. He looked down to the ground a ways below, and sighed. I guess I do have much to learn.

He sat down on the edge, swinging his feet. And I've learned the most from a man who's alter-ego just tried to kill me. He stretched his arms and yawned. He tried stifling it between his fingers, but it didn't work. He felt guilty, almost, that he was so tired. The men and women on the beds went through a grueling ordeal, and all he did was walk up some stupid stairs.

Regardless, he was tired. Musei got up, dusted himself off once again, and walked toward the room that one lady described to him. He set his lone backpack in the corner, and took of his coat. He felt almost 'naked' without it, but he couldn't sleep with it. A dilemma for sure. He layed on the bed, staring at the cieling. After a few minutes, he fell asleep. If every day was like this, he was in for an interesting life.
