7: You reach a tree stump and it isn't able to talk because it is a tree stump. It makes a great item for sitting though.
After reaching the sign, Meat blinked at the quest. Trees? Okay, well he could find trees, it wasn't like there wasn't a ton of them around anyhow. He moved along, silent as ever, trying to see if he could find something that the quest would accept as a tree.
He stumbled, almost literally, upon the stump, looking down at it and tilting his head. Well, it had BEEN a tree at one point, so that must count right?
He did sit down for a minute to relax though, and think about his next course of action.

This was getting very old very fast. While Teddomination was fond of exploring, this wasn't his idea of a riveting adventure. The glasses tree had been nice enough, but the rest of them were a touch unnerving. And he was a monster, for crying out loud!
This willow tree, at least, didn't seem so bad. Teddy approached it with trepidation, hoping to avoid any more mishaps like being hugged too hard or getting fragments spat on him. He opened his mouth to speak to the tree...
..and was immediately knocked over by the swarm of leaves.
Right! Well! That was that. Digging himself out of the leaf pile, Teddomination groaned in frustration. No more trees! No more leaves! He was done with this nonsense!
Righting his hat and checking his coat, the furious little teddy bear stormed out of the area.
He was done with trees for some time to come.

1: The first tree is a long tree, and bends down to look at you with hollow sleepy eyes as you reach over. "Oh, please, you're not putting your hand in my nose are you? That's so very disgusting, and I'm afraid I haven't cleaned up yet. Very disgusting indeed. Come back again when I'm clean."
When you come back the tree is gone.
She stepped back a bit to hear the trees disgust and dismays of its cleanest. But, what was she to do, but accept the tree's request "Alright.."
She walked a bit to give its space and time, brushing off some dust on her clothing. Then turning back towards the tree, only to see it was not there...

Legolas yawned and stretched. It was a test of his 'reality' and he was finding that it was fully immersive. It wasn't the worst dream he'd ever had so far and he was pleased to remember who and what he was.
"Fantastic." The handsome elf grinned and approached the very recognizable exclamation point. "Quests." He adjusted his white coat, shifted his hat, and as if a long forgotten instinct, swung his braid around his neck like a scarf.
There was a wistful sigh about having a braid.
He was just wondering if he should touch the signpost or anything when it's voice filtered through to him.
"Five trees. I can do that."

Legolas heard the sound of sobs. With a worried expression he looked for others nearby until a tree called out to him. He should have known of course, but the pale young man was still settling in to this topsy turvy world.
He listened to it's sob story, hand resting gently on the trunk, and promised he'd help.

2: The second tree is a wide tree and doesn't look too happy to see you. It crosses its arms. "I don't think so, the last people who were here were terribly mean about it. Terribly, terribly mean and it just won't do anymore. If you come any closer I will have to resort to violence I mean it! Don't come any closer!"
If you move closer it hits you for -5 damage with its branches.
Meat got up after a bit and wandered off again, coming upon the wide tree that didn't look particularly pleased. When it spoke, Darren jumped and skittered back a bit, listening to it warn that it would resort to violence if he decided to get any closer.
Darren wanted none of that. He may be high defense, but he had no desire to attempt to go toe to toe with a tree.
So he backed away slowly and left.

Natt stared up at the huge tree in front of her, tilting her head from side to side to see each and every individual sign. They pointed everywhere, and in no where in particular. It didn't help, and she didn't know where else to go.
"HRM." She hummed, turning around to see the way she came from, and then to the sides, and again at the tree, which was just how she remembered it. Finally she spotted someone else in the distance; a Caterpillar, with the words 'NOTSTUPID' in clear font above his head. The ghoul giggled, and loudly, pointing.
"ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE NOT STUPID?" She cried out, holding onto her hat.

Coming up on her third tree now, not gaining anything from the first two. It from the looks of it, not from this one either. Standing in front of this tree now, reading the many signs it had. "Umm..." She looked at them all, feeling a bit confused. "This... Doesnt help me either" Feeling puzzled and confused, she turned and walked away. Only to repeat the words the each of the signs had upon them

Epithet meandered the world shortly after arriving. He had determined that this was another outlet for an imagination he hardly gets to express. With the amount of books he had been reading for pleasure, this was just another way for him to spend time while he still had some to spare. He wasn't sure why he had chosen to be a 'Cheshire Cat', but it was what he was and he was wandering around these woods. Oddly enough, the more he looked at the avatar, he felt that his tail wasn't cat like nor were the ears, but he brushed it off as his own imagination. Looking at the map, it would seem it was called 'Tulgey Woods'. After closing the map, a landmark in the middle of his path stopped him. And it spoke: "I am the wayfinder, and it means finding your way and not finding your way. Well, I supposed this is an official welcome to Tulgey Woods, where you'll find everything and of course nothing at all. First things first, I supposed you'd like to level up a bit, and collect these rare sort of fragments. Well, not a problem at all, not a problem. Let's see... hm... yes... I do think some exploration is due. Do be a dear and examine five trees around you. Keep in mind, trees are very shy, yes some are shy indeed, and some are just too noisy those trees, full of surprises. Examine five trees, and come back to me when you're finished!"
Epithet smiled, nodding to himself. So this was how the game was played; quest, retrievals, and eliminations. He had accepted the quest and made his way through the woods to find these trees.
The first thing that caught his attention in the woods was a tiny little tree. Curious, he bent down to it. It spoke;"Guess what I'm hiding!", the bark cracking open to reveal a row of shiny teeth.
"Nuts?" Epithet answered, his voice calm, young and innocent.
The tiny tree laughed.I'm hiding it in my mouth!" it giggled, such a child-like giggle. It opened it's mouth and pushed out it's tongue, on the tip of it a shiny object. The object was hard to tell, the interface had shown it as a shiny looking diamond. Epithet picked it up, smiled at the tree and thanked it. The tiny tree cheered and smiled as Epithet continued on his way. It waved and wiggled all the while.

4: You reach a broken tree and it is sobbing. "I'm so very sad", says the broken tree. "So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?"
If you don't help it out it gives you nothing and continues to sob.
If you help it out, search around the tree for glasses! Roll 1d4. If you roll a 4 you succeed in finding its glasses. It is super excited as you hand it back. "Thank you, oh my goodness, thank you indeed. Here, have this." It gives you a fragment and insists on giving you a hug, but the hug is very prickly and not very nice at all. +1 Fragment.
As he wandered away from the kindly striped tree the sound of sobbing lilted towards his ears. He rushed towards it only to find a broken tree. The tree's words fell hard between its sobs "I'm so very sad", says the broken tree. "So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?"

Meat blinked as he wandered upon this newest tree. He wondered if it really was that efficient to have each word on its own sign like that - unless each sign was determining that each way lead to a different place, or not.
This world, dream, whatever it was, made less and less sense the more time he spent in it. With a shrug he wandered off again.

5: You reach a willow tree and you can barely see its eyes through the giant slew of willows. It shakes its head furiously, leaves rain down, and refuses you let you go any closer, batting you with its leaves. Ow!
When Meat stumbled upon the willow he tried to peer into its leaves, only to start getting rained on by said leaves. Shaking his head he attempted to move closer only to get buffeted by more leaves. The sensation was very unpleasant, so he quickly backed out in search of something different.

Stopping at this newest tree, her eyes grew big. Ears drawn back, as she stood before it and saw...! "What in the world!?..." She somewhat shouted "Did i pick the same tree once more?" She tugged on her ears down, something she would do whenever she felt bewilder "Tree! Is there some kind of importance to this words you have upon these signs?" Leaning with her hands wide apart, against the tree's trunk. hoping for an answer, but doesnt get one
"I feel utterly confused and mislead..." she walked off to find another and her last tree.

Soft sobbing permeated the silence of the woods between the cracking leaves and twigs underfoot. Ears perked up and swiveled, directing the Cheshire to the source, his body moved between the trees with some strange fluidity. His pace slowed as he approached a small tree. No, it wasn't small, it was broken, some of it's limbs were taken, broken, torn off. What could have done this was beyond him. He knelt before the tree as it spoke. "I'm so very sad", says the broken tree. "So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?"
The boy nodded, "Of course, little tree. I will do what I can."
