Tarot yelped as she felt someone else trip and land on top of her. She squeezed her eyes shut. "Westhor...are you okay?" The ghoul attempted to slide out from the sandwich, but failed. "S-Sometimes you just need some tough love, huh?" orz

Vel had landed on something rather soft. Or two things for that matter. Blinking, her vision slowly returned to her and she soon noticed that it was Tarot and Westhor underneathe. Well. At least she wasn't heavy.
"Sorry," she grinned, "Couldn't see where I was going."
Getting up, she dusted herself off before noticing that there were some students trailing away. Tilting her head, she went on to investigate, spotting the blotches of red trailing off.
"Well this is interesting..." she murmured. She shot a glance at a few of the other Defenders lingering about, then went off to see what was going on with the splatters.

There was a small group crowding around something going on, and for a minute, d**k was hoping there was a fight. Was there a fight? He really hoped there was a fight.
After all, fights were funner than cleaning. However, upon investigation, it didn't seem like there was a fight, unfortunately. No, just some stupid trail of blo- wait... HAD there been a fight?
And he'd missed it?
Someone had totally gotten their a** kicked, hadn't they? He was going to go find out who it was and give them a hard time about it.

Kicking! What a singular notion! The vampire did the same, suddenly furious in her attempt to be free. Again. Finally, after a few more kicks and the judicious use of her fangs, the vine gave up the attempt and dropped Melusine to the ground. She sat there for a moment with a slightly dazed look on her face, but stood up eventually. "Dance? I do not think I have recently had the pleasure." Was her colorless reply, completely oblivious to the look in his eye. "Flying rat? Oh no, bats are much closer related to various sorts of primates." She explained with a longer, slender finger held in the air. "And any sort of other 'flying rodent', wonderful use of language might I add, actually doesn't fly. They merely glide. Bats really and truly fly." A fang-filled smile was his reward along with his science lesson. But before the vampire could expound anymore on any subject, a large group of people had gathered nearby. Not necessarily curious as to why, Melusine waved goodbye to Victory, thanked him for his help and slowly ambled her way over to the group. On the way there she looked through the crowd for Acher and finally spotted him. Yet before she made her way over, she saw the thing drawing everyone's attention. Blood. It was an instinctual belief, so she stilled the sudden jump in her limbs and instead made her way over to Acher. Finally! "There's a trail of blood." Was her introduction. Huh...

"It was no trouble at all, Ylva." He replied kindly. The smell of something strange.. His head turned around at the sight of the students gathering. At his tall height, seeing over the people was no trouble at all. At her request, he responded, "Yes we should." But even as he noticed her bare feet, a hint of an amused smile tugged at his lips. Her lack of formal attire caused him to loosen his tie as well. What had happened in all the commotion? What could it be? Relict hoped that it wasn't something serious, nor worrisome. But the only way to tell would be to find out what exactly happened. "Shall we go?" Taking her hand, not romantically as many of the other ghouls and boils were doing so, and leading her along, he began to approach the source of questions.

Did she fall?
Selene's heart stopped.
Yes, Arcana, she fell. She fell, and it made her heart hurt. And in her head, she was telling him this, very clearly, like one of those loud ghouls who just told boils how they felt. In her head, she was strong, and confident, and even flirtatious, and she was making some kind of pun about how she had fallen so very hard, and it was all his fault-
But no, in reality Selene was very, very silent.
She shook her head, and patted his shoulder. "I will be all right." She whispered, the hiss of disappointment in her own failure evident in her voice.
Students had started to gather over something of interest, and Selene used the notice of it as a distraction to how terribly she hated herself at the moment. "What is happening over there?"

Arcana shyly smiled at her as she reassured him that she was alright. Behind the shy smile though held a little hesitancy as he wondered if he should tell her right then and there...
"Selene..." I love you- He blinked though as she directed his attention to the gathering of students, that including his sister, Westhor and others. Pulling himself up with the snake ghoul, offering his arm for support, he glanced curiously at the red trail that held so many's fixation. "I don't know...It seems bad....Do...Do you want to go see?" He didn't relaly get to ask that since now they were caught up in the flood of people following the red trial. he made sure though that Selene was with him.
It would be a sad day when she wasn't there with him like always.

Well, Quin was done with cleaning, though she honestly never truly started. Moving away from the crowds she decided to call it a night and get something to eat. If it wasn't for the crowd of people gathering around the blood she might have just done that. Instead she moved closer to investigate.

Wiping the blood from her hand, Ava called over to Avery and Victory to see if either would be tagging along with her. She was curious as to where this trail would lead her..and to what.

Thankfully, it didn’t take long for Vel to get off. When the weight was off of her shoulders, Tarot breathed a sigh of relief and got off of Westhor at last. “Sorry about that, are you okay?” She offered him a hand once she stood back up. A few of the students were leaving, following a trail of red paint it seemed. Tarot cocked her head curiously. “I guess we should follow the others.” She shrugged at Westhor before walking after the others.

Selene didn't get a chance to answer, either, as the rush of people that made them head towards the disturbance answered for them. She clutched at Arcana, fright penetrating every inch of her - but at least, with a crowd dragging you places, it was easier to keep moving and have the support to protect you from trips. There was always a bright side to everything! Selene looked around wildly, horrified at how it seemed like something disturbing really was going on - and was that blood on the floor? Was someone hurt? Selene worried her lower lip, and reached down to take Arcana's hand in hers without thinking. At least it wasn't him, he was safe and - Oh, look. Her arm didn't burn off, after all. She tried not to think about her bold and brash move as they exited the area and headed towards the group. ((exit))

"Yes, thank you, sister," He sighed at Tarot, and got up onto his feet. With a slow, hesitant nod, he followed, looking at Matt and basically dragging the sleeping sloth demon with them, a little worried.
Who was dipping red paint everywhere?

Only after making sure Dis wasn't actually blind, did she link one arm with him, and grab Rowly with her other arm. "I've had it with this place." She announced. "They can clean this s**t themselves." And it looked like their ticket out of there had just arrived, too. She grinned evilly as the trickle of students started to wander away, and led her two boils over to very non-chalantly join them. She didn't say a word, nor did she give a rat's a** where they were going - if it meant they got out of cleaning, she was all for it. Hell, she was so damn hungry, though. ((exit))

Despite being told to, Cain never ACTUALLY cleaned anything. Or even attempted to clean anything. In fact, he didn't do much more than notice some of the other students looking really interested in some sort of blood spatter, and decide that the festival was, as he had assumed, a complete waste of his time. For a group of individuals who were SUPPOSED to be scary, there was an awful lot of gasping and concern about the blood.
Exhaling slowly through his nose, the baphomet stood there in the middle of the ruined festival, idly watching as most of the students began to filter off in the direction of the blood spatter, waiting until most had left before meandering in that direction.
