Heal smiled towards the blind girl and shook his head. "Thank you, but I am fine, the buizel just scratched my arm....and I do believe all I have on my shoulder and back are just bruised, nothing that will kill me, yet."

"I'll have to think on what to name her," Shina said. Carefully pulling the first hot casserole from the coals, Shina opened the lid and started scooping the cheesy cattail root and wild greens into bowls and passing them out.

"OK. Hey, Chiyo? Mind pointing me in the direction of the food?" A tug on her pants let her know which way to head. "Thanks, you're terrific."
Chiyo looked very pleased with herself. Terrific? She'd never been called that before.
Then Shikari got an idea. She grinned to herself and went to get a nice, full, warm bowl, taking it carefully back to Heal. Maybe she could at least make his day a little better. "Hope you like it."

Heal blinks up at Shikari and smiles, taking the food bowl from her hands gently. "Thank you, that's very kind of you..." He turned to Shina and laughed. "First the furret and now an eevee, you are certainly catching quiet a bit of pokemon"

Shina blushed lightly, settling back with her food. "Well, to be fair, Annabell caught herself, and I did come to Zatao with the primary goal of catching an Eevee. I came over during the Eevee swarm," Shina said.

Shikari could hear the smile in Heal's voice, and knew she'd done what she set out to do. Happily, she headed over to try some of the Cattail a la Cheez. Chiyo wanted a taste too, but Shikari wasn't sure. "Would this stuff be okay for Chiyo? I'm sure the cattails are fine, but the cheese?"
Hm. Eevee swarm. The word swarm brought sounds of angrily buzzing
Beedrills to her mind. She shook her head to clear it.

Keria thanked Shina as she got her bowl of food. She held the bowl in her hands for a moment absorbing the warmth before taking a bit, she chewed slowly savoring it. "Mmm this is delicious. “If you came here to catch an Eevee do you think you'll leave Zatao once the caravan is over? An Eevee swarm sounds interesting."

"Mmm, I don't think so," Shina answered Keria. "While I came here for an Eevee, I don't really see the need to go racing back home now that I have one." Shina took a bite of her own food, chewed, and swallowed before continuing. "And the Eevee swarm certainly was interesting, even if it was a Team Rocket plot. At times terrifying, life-threatening, and painful, but interesting."

No reply, so she decided to let Chiyo be the judge. The little equine lipped it off her fingers and appeared to enjoy it, but refused any more, moving away to find the Zebstrika she'd spoken to before while her trainer enjoyed the meal.
"Guess you're not hungry, huh?"

After calming down from his scare, Meredith had gotten an idea. He had a stash of berries he kept nearby, some of them ones that made him feel better when injured. He quickly swam underwater to his stash, popping up near the shore a decent ways away from the caravan that was covered by tall reeds. He quickly grabbed a berry and dove back into the water.
As he approached the shore near the caravan he surfaced and looked over. He caught sight of people eating some new food and he raised his head more. Taking a sniff he faintly smelled that delicious smelling food from earlier. "Bui!" He called out quickly swimming to shore. Reaching land he had to watch it and stand on his hind legs and waddle over to Heal as he held an Oran berry in his front paws. Maybe this would make up for the scratches? "Bui bui zel izel!" He called out waddling towards Heal. Once there he held out the berry and stared at the food. "Bui bui. Buizel izel bui bui zel zel."

Hmm, that cattail-nettle casserole smelled really good. Anise figured she'd be allowed to join in, considering she helped gather the food. She took a bowl from someone who was serving it up, sat down near the shore and dug in. Felix sniffed at the bowl curiously, so Anise let him have a bite. It wasn't much to his taste though, which meant she could continue her meal without a curious kitty trying to poke his nose in her bowl.

Finishing her food, Shina contemplated her newest pokemon. Well, she couldn't very well name it when she hadn't even gotten a proper look at it. "Come on out, little one," Shina said, releasing the Eevee. Pale brown fur, pale silver markings, and bright blue eyes materialized. "Oh, you're a shiny recessive!" Shina gasped with delight.

While Anise was busy eating, Felix was just kind of sitting around. When an Eevee was released nearby, he looked over curiously. There had been a little bit of quiet fussing over this pokeomn earlier, hadn't there? He trotted over to greet the pokemon. 'Hi there. You just got caught, right?'

Eevee tilted her head at the cat. 'Um, yes? I think? I was eating, and then something touched me, and yes? I think I was caught.' Eevee said hesitantly.
