Show Me How To Lie....
Looking almost offended at her joke, the redhead frowns. "I would step up." he defended himself, knowing that he would. If his brother could step up at 17, he could certainly do so at 27; except that this time, he would hope that the father was who the girl said it was. The thought of marriage because of kids crossed his mind as well, and he considered it briefly before brushing it aside. They would cross that hill when they got to it. If that got to it, that is. Hopefully, it just wouldn't happen and they wouldn't have to worry about it. That would certainly be nice, and couldn't be that hard. They would just have to be careful if they lasted long enough to make it that far.

Sky smiled and glanced at Adney. "I know you would." She answered him. She leaned a bit against him using her shoulder. She then leaned out again. It was like a flirty move. "You're not the type to let things get away. In the end you seem to get what you want." She teased him pointing out that she came back to him as an example.

Show Me How To Lie....
Pleased that she seemed to realize that he wasn't the sort to run off, he relaxed slightly. He chuckled at her teases, shaking his head. "I think it's more that life just got bored of screwing me over." he stated, looking amused. "Or maybe it's good karma trying to rectify the bad." he did tend to get what he wanted, though usually he ended up fighting tooth and nail for them. He had no idea how their relationship seemed to fix itself so effortlessly, but he was glad of it.

Sky giggled. "You and me both." She agreed with him. She looked up at him with a gentle smile. "Since I'm not paying rent how about I pay for our vacation?" She asked him. They had nothing else to do with the money. They didn't need to save up for a wedding or a baby for a long while if ever.

Show Me How To Lie....
Glancing at Sky in mild surprise, he raised a brow curiously. "What vacation?" he hadn't remembered saying anything about a vacation, but maybe this was one of her plans. Which was fine, but the way she had phrased it made it sound like there was one in the works. While he wouldn't mind a vacation, he hadn't been on one since he was a child, the proposition seemed to have come from thin air.

Sky looked at him. She must have confused him what she was thinking. A rephrase was in order. "The vacation that we can take together next summer since I'll have a bit of money saved up. I think we should spend a weekend at the beach. Maybe we can invite Mizuki, since she's a mermaid, and her family." Sky suggested. She knew that if they could at least get the woman to go that she would bring her son that Adney seemed to love to death.

Show Me How To Lie....
Giving a nod to show that he understood as she explained what she was talking about, the redhead considered this. "I suppose that does sound nice..." he admitted, mulling it over. Pyry and Mizuki would most certainly agree to a vacation on the beach, especially considering their son had such a strong affinity for water and was able to swim so well already. This, of course, would give him a nice excuse to steal away his darling nephew; the other couple would definitely need at least one night to themselves on a vacation. Sky would surely love his nephew, as everyone surely did; the boy was adorable and quite agreeable.

She was happy that Adney seemed to agree with that idea. She didn't want to make a mad choice. "I'm glad you like it. I thought that the beach was a good idea because there is more than just a beach, usually beach towns have tons of other things to do." She told him. "I could also invite my brother since my sister doesn't have the time right now."

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.Care To Dance?"It didn't take long to cover the ground between the the dorms and the gardens; talk was almost nonexistent during the time, simply because she felt it better to prepare questions rather than rattling them off mindlessly to Baihu. Stepping over a hedge, she spared a glance behind her, finding Vera's happy companions. Turning to face the couple, she nodded to them, asking simply, "Jog and talk?" Running to Aurora was a simple task, something she could do almost as effortlessly as singing. Yet, she would give them the option, having no problem with either outcome, as long as she was able to evaluate her friend's fiancee without much restriction.{ooc: Umm, close enough to a park, yeah? } "Nothing Is Impossible... ...The Word Itself Says 'I'm Possible'."

(I suppose...though I was thinking an actual park, don't ask me why XD) Vera shrugged, and gave Baihu a small mischievous smile. "Running's fine..." she commented, voice calm as she watched Ryuu bound after Greator, though he stayed on the ground. Crossing her arms over her torso to rub her shoulders, Vera swung them around slowly in limbering exercises. Why she would be doing stretches for her arms after commenting on running would be unclear, until a pair of dark blue-black wings came from below her shoulders as she stepped forward. Cracking her neck, Vera smiled behind her between the two large extra appendages and waved at them with a cheerful grin. "Don't eat each other, and I will be right back~" Voice cheerful, Vera seemed to relax as she looked around. Holding the wings and her arms close to her body, the half elf got a running start and kicked lightly off from a statue. Her wings sprang open as she flipped, and a few beats with her only a couple of yards off the ground soon got her into the air...that and a little help with her wind control to push her up higher. Soon she was chasing Greator, in what looked like a game of tag. Making him stay lower, they would swoop and dive precariously close to the tallest parts of the garden statues and trees, though Greator would just move to the side or make a barrel roll while Vera indulged in tighter spins and flips, showing off a slight bit but also practicing and staying limber and in shape. It might be more fun for Aurora to watch, since Vera had to be encouraged their first year, since she hadn't wanted to show off something other students didn't have. But now it was like she didn't care, and even seemed happier in the air than on the ground.

Baihu made a step up movement and it wasn't long before he too was in the air. Unlike Vera, he had no wings and used air to float on the spot. He was a master of air and it was easy for him to do so. "Vera don't go to far so fast while flying." He warned her. He could save her if he really needed to.

Twitching in a startled jerk, Vera dropped a few feet but recovered quickly. Face exasperated, she stayed even with Baihu, bobbing a little as she had to flap to stay in place if she didn't use her own powers. "Don't do that! And I'm fine, I'm actually following a preset pattern. Sort of... Don't worry, this part is choreographed, the freestyle comes LATER. Hmmm...speaking of. I do this to train for the possibility of arial combat, maybe I will have you or Aurora throw things at me..." Hand held to her chin in thought, Vera stopped her wings, tucked them to her body and tilted backwards in a dive. Legs straight out and held loosely Vera twisted her body around and opened her wings about six feet above the air to skim the ground as she still had had a little bit of downwards momentum. Still holding her thoughtful pose Vera pulled up to Aurora, having kept herself level with a small personal breeze, and landed to give her friend a small mischievous smile as she grabbed the siren's hand. "Want some fun? Either you can ride Greator, or me...and later I think some dodging practice would be nice~"

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.Care To Dance?"Watching as Vera took off, she gave a small nod of approval. It used to take so much work to get the girl to fly, but now she seemed to hold far more confidence. Her attention was moved to Baihu, who was already warning her for fear of injury from his own spot in the air. "She's made of tough suff." she mentioned lightly, completely at ease with her friend's ability. She shrugged, plopping down on the ground when she realized that it would be quite difficult to speak when everyone was above her; especially since her height didn't amount to much. When Vera stopped by, she shook her head lightly at the question. "No, I don't think I was ever meant to leave sea and land." She giggled, waving the women off as she continued, "You go ahead and beat that Baihu in a race or something~"

Baihu rolled his eyes at the young woman's comment about beating him in a race. "You know that is nearly impossible to do. I have the ultimate power of the wind on my side." He could be faster and he could also use the wind to stop her if he really wanted to win. He could also let her win. He wondered if it was better to let her win because it would make him like a hero or something. He wanted her to think of him like a hero.

(she would actually be annoyed XD) Vera tilted her head to the side, and rolled her eyes to glance at Bahiu above them. "But that doesn't help me stretch my muscles..." the half-elf sighed. Shrugging, she let Aurora's hands go and raised them in a questioning pose. "I guess we could..." Looking up to raise a hand to cover her eyes at the floating Baihu, the silver eyes grew contemplative, and calculating. "There ARE other elements, and powers than just wind..." she stated calmly, face blank and eyes unreadable. "I am at a disadvantage though...he's way older as well, and it just wouldn't look good if I DID beat him. Not polite, for one thing..." Vera expressed to Aurora. "But it's up to him I guess...." Not bothering with fancy lift-offs this time, Vera just jumped up and had her wind push her up to Baihu. "We could try it, make it more of an exercise than an actual competition...a bit more neutral that way," she figured, telling him.(sorry about that, i understand the frustration though ^^; usually happens to me...alla time sweatdrop )
