Though I'm disappointed that all the old crew isn't in it, if I play the new game and find that they weren't needed, I suppose it's all right. I mean, while I love the old crew to death, I've become a gaming fan in general more than just a Golden Sun fan, and if they deliver a solid game without the old crew then I can deal with that.
Of course, I would have at least liked some art to see what they look like now! I feel like Camelot could have provided us that little fanservice at the very least. It would have no bearing on the game itself to show us Ivan and whatever HIS facial hair is like.
>And I've heard the same thing about the possibility of a sequel. Besides the Takahashi Bros. making ambiguous comments that greatly suggest sequels, from what I've heard, the situation with "Ace" isn't resolved in any capacity. What that situation is, I don't know. I actually have no idea about the plot. But if Camelot proves its ability to deliver solid gameplay and a halfway decent plot, then I am totally fine with sequels. Just as long as it doesn't get all Final Fantasy on us and get up to Golden Sun XXVI: Takeru's Revenge, or whatever.<

Azura Cantarella Cowpuppy Singsaith Cowpuppy From what I've heard, and I've only heard random things on boards so I could be proven wrong, there are no character models or anything in the game itself for anybody but Isaac and Garet. Ah-bah-gah-whaaaaaaaaa?! My thoughts exactly! crying I third this! gonk
No older Piers?! emo But then how...what does this mean?
Augh, that's too spoiler-y of a question. I mean it just begs the question of "What happened to them?" crying I Fourth this, I want to see an actual portrait of every GS character ><

ThePhantomSquee Spoiler: The aforesaid three are the only ones who show up, but the ending suggests another sequel.Cowpuppy >And I've heard the same thing about the possibility of a sequel. Wouldn't it be great if the next game starred Felix's descendant as the main character?EDIT: Also, about the other main characters, though they don't actually appear in the game, apparently some of them ARE mentioned:
Felix: Somewhere far from Vale Sheba: No idea what she's doing Jenna: Living in Kalay Ivan: Doing research somewhere Mia: Somewhere (Likely Imil) Piers: Travelling the world via ship

MORE INFO IN THE NINTENDO POWER MAGAZEN IN THE DEC ISSUE blaugh some we already know and some we may not know already I wont post everything today tho cause there is a lot
Matthew as Dark Dawn main hero follows in the footsteps of his father Isaac, who led the warriors of Vale in the original Golden Sun. Matthew is a promising Earth Adept and a person of few words but strong conictions.
Tyrell is a Fire Adept like his father gsret, and he's Matthew best friend. He's impulsive and has a bit of a temper, witch has earned him a reputation for being a troublemaker.
Karis is a Wind Adept and is Ivan's daughter and has inherited her father's indomitable spirit and powers of observation. She known Matthew and Tyrell for a long time and vistits them often.
At the begining of the game, original golden sun heros Isaac and Garet fight alongside the new adepts. But you can not controle them, even tho its cool seeing them in action again and there attacks are insanely powerful.
thats all Im posting for now

It's not like we're talking about any MAJOR spoilers here; But I'm still whiting it out for those who don't want to know anything about the game yet though.Singsaith >Jenna's living in Kalay... away from Isaac?
That sounds odd to me.< >Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal with this is. Though, I think it might be possible that Isaac and Garet don't actually live at that cottage, but just visit it regularly. I suppose we'll be able to find out the details when the game comes out in English.<

In 25 Days! And I feel a countdown is necessary, though ridiculous. I have a dry-erase board hanging in my room with a countdown! (Though it still says 48 days...I have to change that.)
I'm finally put a down payment on it! I'm so excited. Now to finosh Shadow Dragon so I can devote my full attention to this glorious glory!!!

The simple solution to this is to make a list of what we already know in the first post, rather than repeating it ad nauseum for no real reason.
As for the countdown, you don't need a special program or anything. Just make a thread titled "GSDD countdown" or something, and post in it once a day.
