You're close enough. I had a water and earth deck that had major strategy to it... the funny thing was that no one else could use effectively besides me...
I never really got into Yugioh...
I had a major power deck, nothing under 1800 unless it was a "virus creature" (flip effects) or defense with no less than 2000 twisted
I'm still learning 3nodding But I'm working on a feline deck.

My deck was great but it had a similar theme as MTG winged beasts and spell casters only it also had dragons

Stall opponent with monsters like copycat and traps like draining shield and scrap-iron scarecrow until i get three kuriboh and three chthonian alliance. summon one kuriboh in defense mode and use scrap-iron to protect it. next turn, use double summon to summon two kuriboh left, one in attack mode, one in defense mode. equipt all three chthonian to attack mode kuriboh, drastically raising its attack. use traps to defend defense kuriboh and kick some but with giga-kuriboh

I guess  It's a bit risky to wait for three cards in a sixty card deck... Not to mention Sakuretsu armor and magical cylinder to send those attacks back at you.... then there is heavy storm and other cards that remove magic. MTG has opened my eyes, so to speak, on the many flaws as well as how to spot them... sweatdrop
