"I guess "a plant" isn't the best way of describing me," Kareru said aloud thinking of the other types of plants around that don't share her unique traits along with her free movement.

"I suppose the best way would be to say I'm an evolved plant. I came to be outside of a human town within the forest that surrounded it. Being a newborn, I required a vast amount of nutrients and I ended up enveloping the entire town using it to sustain myself until I was strong enough to move on. I've lived in all manner of places sharing with the plant life around me making it grow larger than normal. Though as fate would have it, a cursed man of holy power sealed me away to the underground plane. As for the present date, I had been living in a lush oasis until a rift tore through destroying my home. It would seem I can blame this fight between Heaven and Hell as the cause..."

Kareru paused slightly before continuing. The several limbs and branches that made up her hair swayed gently in the wind as her red eyes watched Ramella's expression as she told her story.

"However, the past is the past and after coming back up once more to the earthan plane, I don't feel like being banned from the soil I enjoyed when I was young. If I must assist you in erasing the winged ones from existance to prevent myself from being banned back to the underground plane, then I shall. I have no love for the humans, though I have no ill will to them as well. I merely defend myself from their panicky moments of foolishness. Speaking of humans, I suppose manners suggest I give you my name. I am Kareru the Withering Garden."

Ramella was extremely intrgued by what Kareru had said.
'Ramella,' she murmured as a greeting. Ramella nodded towards Kareru and replayed the whole scene to Ophelia.
'Ms Ophelia, would you like me to take her inside to do the 'paperwork'? Or...?''
'What powers do you have? I will try a secure an earthen spot for you if you wish but I have no guarantee.' Ramella said as she gestured at the quiite barren area around them. The outpost seed to glow bright with red power and, strangely it calmed Ramella. She didn't have to use any of her powers as Kareru was obviously no foe.

"Oh no, that's quite alright. I won't be satisfied until I find soil that suits my taste and that could take some time. In regards to your inquiry, I have the power to mimic as well as manipulate other plantlife. Like that tree you were in earlier..." Kareru replied with an amused smile.

Of course, there was no reason to tell someone everything about herself either. The possibility of being backstabbed always lingered at the surface for her. To many, they thought of her as a weed and have attempted to eliminate her as such.

Though leaving things out was part of her own enjoyment as well. After all, it wouldn't be any fun for someone to already know what you are capable of.

Old man Howard frowned at Hisikata and stared at her. He watched her facial expressions closely like he was trying to detect any hidden motives.

" you are of course in league with the hell spawn that have developed nearby? You know nothing of it? It might be possible that something else might have been at work... "

The old man again drew in a long smoke.

" the city is a day's away east. I sent some scouts but have not heard back from them. If you wish to go that way your more than welcome to. Should find out of anything to the party we will happily give you whatever we can spare. "

As Kareru and Ramella conversed, she spied another being fly down. With her greeting, Kareru thought to herself that a bow would look rather awkward for her. Instead, Kareru held out her hand giving them the view of an apple growing at a rapid pace from her palm. When finished, she offered the apple to Ophelia with a smile. The apple was a light red and yellow with a pinkish hue to it. (Referring to a Pink Lady apple for the sake of specifics. lol)

"It is a pleasure to meet with you empress of hell," the plantlike woman greeted.

The demonic being was an interesting one to say the least. The most Kareru had ever ran into while she was sealed away in hell were the lesser demons killing each other for various reasons. The difference between those and the one standing before her were quite evident. It made her begin to wonder what other manner of creatures resided at this outpost. Kareru could tell by the two women she had met so far, she would enjoy the company here.

Ophelia's smile was friendly yet looked as though she watched everything and all. She accepted the gracious offering and examined it closely. She sniffed it a little and rubbed it against her extravagant cloth to shine it. Her kind expression remained as she lowered the apple down to Ramella to take off her and petted her head in a older sister like manner.

She looked up curiously and her attention returned to the plant lady who seemed to have diplomatic intent, but still could not work out the nature of her visit. She shrugged it off and introduced herself. Ophelia hel Kirstrala. Dictator and unquestioned, unholy empress of hell.... she proceeded over incautiously to shake off any uneasiness.

" you know... been closer makes me seem to be more familiar with you.... cant be... How ever did you manage to break your concealment dear child of the vengeful murdered???"

Aeis followed her in looking around for any signs of Selena and Hira. He noticed Forenza reading something and went over to it, reading it as well. When the glass pricked her he wasn't sure if he was to pick it up and dispose of it or if it would p***k him to.
"Seems like some ritual Selena was going to perform. The glass pricking you could be part of it since she instructed you to pick it up."
Aeis motioned toward the vial.
"I'm ready when you are."
He watched her, ready to say the words if she began drinking it. He had meant to ask Selena something but that would seem impossible now. He'll just have a look around before departing.

'Ow.' Forenza said wincing. Blood trickled very slowly but only then did she realise that she Forenza was glowing slightly (as said in previous post) and shone with increased brightness. It surprised her and was like not seeing your shadow in summer. The vial seemed small but Selena was not the kindest to her. But nor is she the nastiest, Forenza thought to her. Holding up the vial she poured the entire contents into her mouth. Eager to get it over and done with. The liquid was incredibly bitter and Forenza could feel it coursing through her veins.
