Nicolas took the pin and pined it to the shoulder of his shirt without question. With eyes cloudy from memories he placed his hand on the side of Valentine's face and looked into her eyes.

"Nothing will happen, I promise Viol.." Nicolas caught himself, as he was about to say something else. He paused to collect his thoughts within his head and remind himself where he is.

"I promise Valentine." And with that he turned to his room, he snatched the bag that lay on the floor, always waiting and ready. And hurried off to the security room.

Besides a few clothes and other items Nicolas left most of his things ready at a moments notice.. a habit.

Tossing a old leather jacket over his shoulders Nicolas pulled the strap on his satchel tight. The bag held to his back it didn't shuffle around, the items in it secure it would not make noise or burdon him as they trekked along the boarder.

"I'm set."

Nicolas followed the path quietly, keeping in line he pulled his pistol from the back of his belt and clipped in a magazine. His eyes watched their surroundings as they moved.

"Asmodeus, do you plan to stick with me going into the states?"

His eyes kept in front of him, constantly sweeping the surroundings, both hands steadying the aim of his weapon he spoke back towards Asmodues. Currently to lost in his own world of concentration to notice. Ironic...

Sunny bit her lip. Her thoughts racing about Maria and the others.
She hoped they would get there in time. Her blakish hair fell in her face as she watched her feet so she wouldn't trip.



Maria placed her hand on Olivias back. She heard the noise of someone shooting at the walls and another cry of pain. "Wallace...." She thought, she knew the scream. He had made it when she first found him in a inkie jail cell.
Maria made sure her gun was loaded and peeked out the opening in the air vent.

Leah finished the book she had read in her corner and went to put it back. Deciding to actually walk around the base instead of being hermit for once. She didn't bother going into the hospital wing,thinking it would be better if they were left to rest. Especially if that Valentine chick or whatever her name was was in there. She felt extremely guilty about the words she said but to prideful to go up and apologize. So she avoided that all together.

'My pride will be the death of me.' she thought. She had noticed that people had avoided the fairly moody scientist. All talking and laughing had stopped until she walked by.

'And by the look of things no one would give a dam.' Although she couldn't blame them, she was no more then a street punk with a nasty tounge and sometimes fist, when she came by.

Zekiel felt that the most and even sometimes Messoris. As she thought back she realized she had never once hit Sunny D violently. She smiled, knowing that she owed that girl her life for saving her sorry @ss from the streets, after her mom kicked her out of the house because of the crude barcode on her neck.

'You morons better come home safe.' she thought. Worrying about the few people who she actually cared for.

Jericho and the Government Drone (Jack) had spent the time since their arrival in the medical area, so they really had no idea what was going on, or even what had happened since the separation. Jericho got out of bed to walk around, while Jack was still recovering.

Valentine looked up to see Jericho getting up to walk around.
"Hey!" She limped over to him.
"What happened back there. You know in the states?" Vallie asked him, catching his wrist.

Sunny looked up at him and smiled back. "I know..."She sighed, It was a day and a half walk there.

Zekiel gave her a smile back. "So don't make that face, then. I'm sure they can hold out until we get there." He made a face. "Unless I'm mistaken, Maria's probably the only other person who can hold out against 'Soris for more than a minute. That's got to count for something, right?" He made sure his blind friend in the back could hear him.

Messoris let out a chuckle. "The only other person being you, ain't that right, Zeeks?" He called back, smiling slightly. He was sort of proud that he had trainned Zeeks and Mar good enough to fight against him longer than the others.
