Rayne tilts her head to the side at this and thinks. Interests and what you knew weren't the same thing at all... but meh, whatever. "At this school... there hardly even seems to be a usual, or a normal." She comments after a moment then shrugs and goes back to eatting again.

Rayne nearly chokes on her food in surprise, then coughs a few times as she tries to swallow. her face turned slightly red, though wheather it was from embarrasment at choking or what had just been said couldn't be told. "What does that mean?" She asks once she'd swallowed, even though she knew full well. Still, she didn't know what else to say, she'd never really had this type of conversation before... or really that many conversations in general, come to think of it. It wasn't that she didn't like guys... so much as the fact that guys were too freaked out by the whole race thing to even talk to her. Actually... that applied to most people in general, before she'd gotten to Ria at least.

Rayne blinks several times then looks at him, then looks down, thinking. Was he joking? Maybe his friends had set him up for some kind of dare... like date your coworker or something like that. She was half covered in scales that looked more correct on a fish, she had a tail that most christians would want to kill her for... she wasn't beautiful, she was pretty much a freak. Then again... almost nobody here was human, at least not full human... so maybe he wasn't playing a trick on her... Rayne looks at him again after a moment. "Um... ok." She says after a moment, then smiles slightly and nods. "Sure."

Rayne blushes slightly as he kisses her hand. She was still pretty much in shock that he'd even asked her out. At the image of him making googoo eyes at her, though, Rayne chuckles slightly and slips her hand out of his. "I can tell. Still, being that straight-forward can freak some people out just to warn ya." She says, then pauses to think about where to go. After a moment Rayne shrugs. "And I have no clue... I havn't been off campus that much yet."

"Hm..." She'd never been to the red dragon, but it did sound interesting. Plus, she liked clubs well enough. After a moment Rayne nods. "Ok, sure. When do you want to go on this date? I'm open up all week." She says, shrugging.

"I didn't think anybody went to classes here..." She says, smirking slightly. She hadn't even seen a classroom around here yet. Rayne then takes one more bite of her sub, finishing it off, and stands up, flicking her tail out. "Yea, we can go now. I'm ready." She says, nodding.

Rayne was shocked, once again, and had no clue what to say, something that had been happening to her a lot today. After a moment she hugs him back, then lets go and looks down at the ring on her finger in disbelief. After a moment she looks up again. "I don't get it... this is too much... we just met.. Why?" She asks, quietly in confusion. She was not used to any of this.

Rayne thinks for a moment, then nods, letting out a slight sigh of relief as she looks down at her feet again. She hated to admit it, but she did find she was pretty shaken up by all this stuff today. After years of acting cold and rude to everybody, she talked herself into being nice for a day, but she never would have thought she'd end up getting anything out of it. "If it's not too much trouble... How bought we go out tonight?" She says, looking up again. "Plus... we just had food anyways. If we go out later, then we can actually have food and make a real date out of it." She says, with a shrug.
