II Kuu II Cool! I'm on a German Exchange and actually made it onto the Austrian news recently. Only briefly though. What universities are you hoping to get into? COuple of places on the west side of Michigan. WMU or Grand Valley for preference.

I found applying for uni scary, but when you get that letter of acceptance in the mail, you feel like you're on cloud nine!

Pretty much everyone is guaranteed to get into university here, so getting the acceptance letter doesn't mean much at all. It's mostly just a relief that they didn't lose your paperwork or whatever; you know you're in from the moment you apply.

Sanguina Cruenta Pretty much everyone is guaranteed to get into university here, so getting the acceptance letter doesn't mean much at all. It's mostly just a relief that they didn't lose your paperwork or whatever; you know you're in from the moment you apply. That sounds nice.

II Kuu II Did you guys know that Dylan Sprouse is a Heathen? I did not! Until today. Where'd you find that? On the university topic: I'm kinda glad I don't have to bother with that yet. I'm dreading for when I have to. And College needs to stop changing what course I need for my degree cat_scream *sigh* I need to disappear for a while before I snap for no reason. My stress level's starting to hit the roof as the con gets closer and closer and my essay deadline is getting closer and closer. Too much to still do for it all cat_emo And nothing against the Heathens here I love you guys but the one that joined our club this semester makes me want to punch babies. His whole reason for being a Heathen: "God promised the end of all evil. Odin promised the end of the frost giants. I don't see any frost giants." That's seriously what he says when people ask why he's a Heathen

Topic of universities and exchange programs: I'm hoping to study abroad in Germany probably in my 3rd year. Since I'm getting my degree in German that is sure to help me. The university I'm transferring to even has a program called Deutsche Sommerschule am Pazifik which is an immersion summer school program with also a teacher training seminar for a week. Pretty excited for it.
I just need to get back into my community college!

I've seen the meme. I kinda blew it off the first time he said it thinking he was joking around but when he was posting stuff on Facebook and was saying that I kept wanting to jump in saying something along the lines of Ra and the sun still rising making mine more true. But oh well. I'm having fun torturing him in LARP so I guess that's better pay back. Our vampire storyteller put me as assistant storyteller because we were starting to get more people so she needed someone else to run scenes while she was with a different group and one of the plots she started putting in place before she even thought about doing that was one of my old characters escaped from Hell and that kid's playing the same type of vampire. So she put me in charge of that and told me to torture him with it because he choose to play the side of that type that my old character absolutely hated. Oh and he old choose that type of vampire because its of Nordic descent cat_rolleyes He got miffed for our werewolf game that the only "mythology" we used was Chinese.

I follow some Heathen blogs on tumblr and there was a picture with him with a Mjollnir(sp?) necklace and a drinking horn and a caption that said he was a heathen. Obviously I was a little iffy about this so I looked it up and sure enough he's wearing the same necklace in a lot of pictures. I went to his tumblr, which he mostly uses for his video game design studies at BAU to see if I could dig up any posts about it. He mentions the gods and I think Odin in one of his asks but what was rock hard evidence was he linked to a blog called "Beardomancy" where he was starring as a guest on their sort of audio podcast thing where he did a rune divination for one of them and talked a little more about his beliefs. He mentioned being a folkish Asatruar or Heathen or something which I don't know much about and have pretty much seen consistently to be "Raaagh, you aren't Scandinavian get out of our religion." And he didn't seem the type he's actually a pretty cool guy from what I can tell so I shot him an ask so I'll let you know if he gets back to me. The more you know.
