After looking at Kai when the pink male yelped, he rolled his eyes and looked back at Journey and flicked his tail.
"This does seem a bit much for just one wolf. Even for Cheshire but," He paused and took a quick sniff at the air and frowned. "I can only really catch Cheshire's scent. If he had an accomplice, we could be heading into a whole lot of trouble since we don't know who it could be. Would you be able to see if there was someone else here if you use your ability?" He asked tilting his head. He froze when Garaden demanded they do so and though he was listening to what he was saying about prints, he turned his attention to the book case and barked at them. "Are you two alright?"
"We have the detective in the making...but are you serious? That's the biggest clue? Oh, I'm sure that a bunch of prints are going to help us anyway." Kai announced as he froze in place like Garaden had asked. He looked about the room and sighed. "Annabel is right; the only tracks I see are her own and probably some of ours as well. So much for your 'biggest clue'-"
He paused however when Annabel pointed out a set that led away from the room and not into the room.
"Well, I stand corrected." Turning back excitedly to the others, he wagged his tail. "Looks like ol' strippy boy messed up. So do we follow the tracks to the source?" He asked, looking around at the others.
--outside; near the forest--
Stopping, Cheshire's accomplice looked back towards the house they had just left. He didn't quite know for sure but it felt like he was missing something. Groaning, he shook himself and expected to hear the usual jingling of his chain but he did not hear a sound.
"Great, I must have dropped my moon necklace by the door... this is just wonderful." He sighed and continued on after Cheshire.

Naito nodded his head. "Yep! I'm alright. I probably should have seen that coming." He chuckled nervously to himself.
Balto looked at the tracks. "I guess so." He looked up. "Anyone know any other moonlit that could have done this?"

Garaden sighed at Kai. "Not the biggest. Just one of them." He grinned proudly when Annabel Lee pointed out the extra prints. He looked at Kai and nodded. "Sounds like a plan. What do you think Atreyu?" He wagged his tail excitedly, eager to follow after the tracks.
Journey nodded, then paused mid-nod. "Well, as long as they's in the room. I can only see a certain amount a' space when I go back. Everythin' beyond it is foggy and vague. In this case, I will only see within this room." She flicked her ears with another nod. "Otherwise, I'll be able ta see everything in here at that tahm." She looked at the knights and tilted her head. "Ah, maybe I should try this before ya'll head out. See if I can see anyone."

Annabel Lee looked at everyone. "Well I'll stay here while you all go find those responsible. I'll get this place cleaned up in no time." She said looking at Journey, "So what exactly are you talking about?" She tilted her head confused by what Journey was saying.

Atreyu bowed deeply to Annabel and wagged his tail, excited that they now at least had a lead on the whole issue.
"Thank you Annabel for your help. Maybe we'll finish with this all in time to come back and help you clean."
Atreyu lifted his head when Kai spoke and Garaden agreed. Smirking, he nodded his head in agreement.
"Yes, that sounds like a plan. We should go after Lady Journey has done a little investigating for us in the past." He said, looking back to her and giving her a quick smirk before turning back to the others. "Are you all prepared to go on this little hunt?"
Kai shook his head at Balto's question and sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws.
"Not that I know of... but then again, Nimue was friends with him." His eyes widen at the thought. "Maybe she's the accomplice."
He glanced towards Journey when she mentioned doing something and he tilted his head, wondering what it was she was planning until it hit him as to what it was.

Balto was a bit surprised if it was Nimue that was an accomplice, but still she didn't seem the type who would cause this, but then again he had not known her well so he couldn't judge.
Naito listened to them. "I don't think Nimue would have done it." He then caught Atreyu's question. "Yes me and Balto are ready!"

Garaden stared at Kai a moment, then burst out laughing. "Nimue?! The accomplice?! Dude, that's like calling you shy!" He kept smiling as he turned around. "Hey, remind me to stop by the sitting room before we go. I bet Ivan would like to come, and his kids are older now, so he won't... shouldn't worry about them as much." He said, shaking his head.
Journey nodded to everyone. "Allright." She turned to Annabel. "What I need from you is the tahm you think these buggers came here. Ya sayid ya saw someone come heah earlier." She blinked once and giggled. "Soory, you probably don't know. See, I kin go back in tahm. That's what I need the info for. See what I can see." Journey explained as her tail wagged eagerly, happy to be able to help out.

Annabel Lee looked at Journey and tilted her head thinking. "Let's see. It was over a half an hour since I came to you knights. So I'd say an hour an a half to two hours." She said with a small nod, "I think that'd be about right." She then looked at Atreyu and shook her head. "No thank you for doing something about these pranksters." She said smiling.

"Good, let us hope that they haven't had that much of a head start." He said, nodding towards Balto and Naito. Atreyu glanced at Garaden at the mention of Ivan coming along. He chuckled and shook his head at the younger wolf.
"That is a good idea but this is Ivan we're talking about Garaden. He'll always be worried over those kids. He has an old soul...Well, hopefully Dagger will return soon to the sitting room to help Raisa and the others watch over those kids but after Journey is finished, you can head over to the sitting room to retrieve him. I'm sure Ivan would be upset at us if we had some big adventure with out him."
Kai smirked and trotted over to Garaden, chuckling.
"You never know, I could probably be a strangely shy guy when I'm away from you all, Nims could be secretly evil and Naito could really be pink with purple spots. The world may never know."
Kai turned to the door and sighed, eager to stop all the madness but not eager to cross paths with Cheshire again. It was bad enough he had to deal with him last time. "I'm glad that this whole thing with Cheshire, doesn't involve riddles. I hate his little games."

Balto was uber confused. He wasn't sure if Kai was joking, but laughed it off. "Alright. Whatever you say Kai."
Naito listened to the others as he waited. He caught Kai's comment. "Um...I'm pretty sure I'm a purple wolf with silver stars." He paused for a second. "Although honestly if I could have choosen my color I would have wanted to be red."

Garaden smirked at Atreyu and nodded. "Yeah, he's definitly like that. Having Dagger there would help." He looked at Naito and tilted his head, trying to see the purple male in either pink with purple spots or red fur. "You know. I always thought I'd look good in yellow." He said off-handedly with a smile.
Journey listened to Annabel carefully, thought a moment, and nodded. "Okay. I'll see what I can do." She turned once and padded over next to the doorway, sitting out of the way in a spot that was somehow still clean, not noticing the small necklace tucked halfway under the door behind her. She smiled at the knights and closed her eyes. 'Two hours ago....'

Annabel Lee watched Journey for a moment before turning back to cleaning. She sighed after a moment and began sweeping up the dirt that wasn't mud with her tail.

- Two hours ago -
"Psst, someone's coming. I'll wait outside!" A grey blur of fur darted out of the common room and jumped over the string, bumping into the door and letting out a soft curse as he bumped into it and out of view.
The pink striped male smiled and wagged his tail. He ran over to the door to check the thin string at the door before darting across the room and ducking behind the couch.
A young wolf trotted into the room and tripped over a string. He fell over and looked up just as the string he tripped over triggered a bucket of water balloons to tip over and dump on him. With a yelp, he jumped up and struggled to get out of the room. Cheshire hopped up and began to toss water balloons at the wolf and laughed as he knocked over things and ran from the room. He hopped on the couch, pleased with himself.
"I hope you're finished... people will be coming in here any minute and we haven't set up the flour trap over the bedroom doors upstairs." The faint voice sounded. The sound of him pushing the front door open roughly could be heard.
Cheshire hopped off of the couch and looked around the room with a huge grin on his face.
"No, we must go into the woods for pine cones. Much better than flour. No one will find us there."
Cheshire laughed and trotted out of the common room.
"I'm sure Dagger will be there soon." He looked at Journey and watched her for a moment before shaking his head. "And I don't even want to pretend that I understand how her ability works. Let's hope she finds something out." Atreyu thought of Rudolf since they were going to go and pick up Ivan and he shook his head. He definitely didn't want to intrude on Rudolf's time with his mate but he couldn't help but wonder where the big guy had gotten to. He listened to what the others were talking about and he chuckled. "I don't know about you all, but I think I enjoy being purple. It's a strong, royal color."
"You don't want to be pink but you want to be red? They're close in color man but hm, red with stars would be nice." Kai said to Naito, starting to laugh. He stuck his tongue out at Balto and turned to give Garaden a strange look. "I don't know, I can see you as yellow but then I see black also and you just look like a giant, fluffy bumblebee to me. Oh! Garaden, maybe you're really a bumblebee!"

Garaden laughed, suddenly feeling silly. "I'm a bumble bee!" He ran around the room, flicking his ears quickly. "Buzz buzz buzzzzz!" He ran over to Kai and wapped him with his tail. "Sting!" And he ran off again, tripping when Journey suddenly yelled. "What the heck?"
'Opening her mind's eye, Journey stomped her foot. "Shoot! I hope he comes back in 'ere." She said to herself as a gray blur vanished beyond her view. "Chesire!" She grumbled, glaring at the pink and purple male. Why did he look so pleased? Journey watched the past with wide eyes as another wolf entered and was submited to the water attack. Why would anyone find that humerous?! The poor wolf looked terrified! The bystander finally got away and the mysterious wolf spoke. "Flour? Pine cones?" She narrowed her eyes and ran after Cheshire, even though she knew it would do no good. She ran into the sight barrier, peering as hard as she could at the vague shadowy forms in the fog.'
"Why those no good varmints!" Journey snapped loudly as her mind returned to present time. She looked at the others and flushed slightly. "Sorry." She shook her head, breathing a bit heavily from her trip. She didn't "travel" very often and that had made her tire easily, plus the sight of the innocent wolf's face had her angry. "And sorry again. All I kin say is that Chesire is definitly part a' this. There is another wolf, bu' I couldn't see him. He left my range o' vision before I could getta look see. Only saw gray fur." She flicked her ears slightly and tilted her head. "But..."
She turned and looked at the door. "He ran inta the door." She whispered, like she was thinking outloud to herself. She sniffed at the door. "I think he left a faint scent here, but I can't really tell. Everyone should smell the door." She took a step back, when something caught her eye. What was that?! She stepped back forward and sniffed at it, pawed at it. It seemed to be caught by the door. "Hey. Someone help me with this!"
