Helena would cry out in pain as the sword would run into her. She would pull away from the sword as she dropped to one knees. Her eyes would waver as she sat there. Her ability to awake seemed to begin to function less. She’d begin to fall to her side as she lay there.
Ruby would scream and howl before finally her body seemed to turn into ash. Her body couldn’t sustain form because of the loss of her soul.
“It’s done. Ruby is no more. You can rest easier Celeron. Return to Shera, I need to rest.” Helena would stand back up as she walked over to a tree and sat down under it. If she had to die, she would die here. Her wounds were grave as she smiled. She had done a great deed.

Miluiel sat bolt upright, her eyes widened with fear. What had happened to set of such an awful pained sound. It had tapped into the deeper recessed of her heart. She wiggled out of Azrael's arms and, with hardly a noise she hurried out of the den. The cold hit her hard. She had not realized quite hoe warm she had been with Azrael beside her. She blushed at the though.
Quickly she searched the area cleared of trees. She spotted Celeron not too far off. She decided to go in that direction. Immediately she spotted the pile of ashes on the white snow, and beside that Helena. "Helena!" Miluiel gasped running to help her friend. "What happened you must tell me!" she demanded frantically. "Please let me help you inside. Helena you can't leave yet." Miluiel tried to help Helena up, but she couldn't do much to help her. "Come on me dear." she said forcing herself to keep calm. "Let us get you inside."

Azrael smelled blood, nasty blood. He stood up and bounded after Miluiel. He saw the tail end of the scene and saw Veral sheltering two huddling silhouettes.
Veral looked up and saw what had passed and looked down. And that, is why I fail. He thought.
Shinn and Izual pushed the robe off of them and looked up at Veral. "V-V-Veral...." Shinn said. "Y-You're bleeding...." He said nervously.
Veral looked at himself. Two of his self-inflicted wounds had reopened. "I'm fine, really." He said taking his robed and standing up. He wrapped it around him to keep the bleeding down and started to stagger back a bit.
Azrael ran up to his son. "Are you two alright." The two bus nodded. "You two go to the house and wait there, understood?" He said. The cubs nodded again and ran off. Azrael ran to Miluiel's side. "She's hurt badly, my love." He said. "We need to get her to Mazzia. I'll carry her back to the house." He lifting her up. "Come on. I'll burn the ashes later." He said as he turned back to the house.

Miluiel nodded, "Y-yes, I know." She followed closely behind Azrael. "Would you like me to lift the flap of the tent for you" she asked hovering nervously. "Is Shinn alright?" she breathed deeply a couple of times trying to calm herself. Freaking out would not help any. "Azrael," she said softly, "How can I help?"

“Miluiel…Azrael…” That was all Helena could speak before unconsciousness stole her away. The pain was too much as both her wound were bleeding too greatly. She was bleeding from the area of her heart and from the stomach. Her body was already going into shock from the cold. It would be the first time the cold would shock her so. Her eyes eventually closed as she laid there in Azrael’s arms. Her hand eventually would fall limp.
Shera would huddle scared and tiredly against a wall. She was afraid of what was going on. She wanted Celeron back again as she went outside to look for him. Her body was still tired but she need to know he was okay. She didn’t have anymore healing energies to give however as she fell into Celeron hugging him gently.

"He's fine." Azrael said. "He's terrified, but he has not been hurt, thanks to Veral." Azrael said. "Please Miluiel, go to Shinn. He's scared and needs you now." He said.
Shinn went into the house, shivering from fear. Izual had went to his own home, but Shinn felt alone now, and he shivered even more, tears of fright had formed in his eyes as he sat close to the fire.
Azrael brought Helena into the guest den quickly and Mazzia immediately pounced on him as he set Helena down on one of the beds. "What happened?" She demanded, but Azrael shook his head and nodded to Helena. Mazzia knelt down next to her and immediately used a delving on her. Immediately after she started to channel healing energies into Helena, keeping her cool as she healed the wounds.
Veral staggered in slowly. He slid against the wall, trying to use the few healing techniques he could on himself. He managed to seal the wounds crudely, but he couldn't do anymore, he couldn't use Aura magic on himself.

Miluiel nodded. "Yes Azrael." she said softly, leaving them to find Shinn. She walked into the family den, hoping to find him there. "S-shinn?" she asked softly calling for him. "Where are you?" she looked around the room. She spotted him. "There you are my pup." she walked over to him, wrapping her arms aroudn him and sitting beside him she pulled him on onto her lap. "You're alright now, I promise." She said snuggling him.

Helena would not move as her breathing began to stagger. The wound over her heart seemed to be severe. Helena couldn’t help Mazzia heal the wounds as she laid there limply. Her sapphire eyes remained ever closed as it seemed death was knocking on her door. She was close to answering his call also. Her hand was on the door quite metaphorically. The healing energies would keep her from dying just yet as her breathing would measure up to being okay for now. Weakly her eyes would open as she looked to see she had been moved from the tree, ‘so I’m not dead yet.’ That was her thought. She had been spared death, but not fully. She was still teetering on the edge of death.

Mazzia continued trying as best she could, but her energy was running low. No! Not now! I can't lose another! Not after Izalia..... She thought, as she continued trying to pull Helena back, put her power wouldn't last.
Veral knelt down behind Mazzia and put his hands on her shoulders. She needed energy and he could give it. He started to Channel aura into Mazzia, so she would be using his energy to heal instead of her own.
"What are you doing?" Mazzia said angrily. "You should be resting!"
Veral shook his head. "You should be paying attention to the one who is closest to death." He said, continuing to channel his Aura.
Mazzia felt a euphoria, a flow of energy that was not her own adding itself to her healing energies, it was much stronger than her own. She didn't comment back but with the new energy from Veral she began to heal with more conviction and was able to close up the major internal and external wounds quickly. Immediately after she started to restore lost blood, and found that Veral's energy was such that she could support other slowed functions to Helena's body until the healing energy got to those. She even smiled. I'm going to thrash you up, Veral. But I'm going to kiss you during every second of it.
Shinn sniffled and hugged Miluiel. "It was so scary....." He said through sobs. "I-I thought that we would be.... and then Veral came and...." He couldn't finish his sentences, he was simply too relieved to do much else but cry his pain to his new mother.

"Shh, shhh." She whispered stroking his soft fur. She held him close to her, as close as she could, trying to keep him warm. "But he came, and you are safe. You are with me now little one. I know it was scary, I am sorry neither your father nor I were there to help you. Let it all out." She said stroking him, and rubbing his back.

Shinn sobbed and sobbed, letting all of it out, even the pain he still felt from Izalia's death. He felt comfortable doing it now, with Miluiel. He loved his new mother, even if she wasn't officially yet. He didn't care, he felt comfortable in her arms, safe. His crying faded and he shut his eyes, breathing softly and forgetting what he had seen.
Azrael saw that there was nothing he could do and left for the family den. He sat behind Miluiel and put his arms around both Shinn and Miluiel. "We are here." Was all that he said. He propped his head on Miluiel's shoulder. He felt a strong feeling that he hadn't felt in a long time. He was with his family now. His family.

Miluiel listened to Shinn's crying. She did her best to sooth him, but as she knew sometimes silence was the best way to relay emotions. She just held him to her, running her hands gently over his back, scratching behind his ear and rubbing his arm. She felt that he was asleep now, but she continued to sooth him.
Miluiel looked back at Azrael, she smiled at him gently. "Welcome back," she said to him, kissing his cheek, and looking back at Shinn. "Could you please tell me how Helena is?" she asked softly, hoping she wouldn't wake Shinn.

"Mazzia and Veral are doing what they can. She was able to keep her from deathm and now they are doing their best to heal the rest of her." He said softly into her ear. He looked at his son, peacefully asleep in Miluiel's arms. "Look at him." He said. "He has been through so much, and yet he looks so peaceful in his sleep." He said.

"He does look young. Maybe things will be able to settle down for you both again. I sincerely hope so." She lay her head against his. "Sleep in the miracle where one can get away from their problems, especially after the tears purify the mind." She whispered back. "I'm glad they are able to help her, but I do hope too that they are paying attention to their own energy."

Azrael smiled brightly. "When things settle down for us, they will settle down for you too, my wife to be. We are together from here on out my darling." He said to her. "I hope that they will be fine, Mazzia will be responsible with it I hope." He said.
