You'll never expect what you can't see... ((Lol, Graff sounds like Ilyana...)) ((Sorry to hear about ya HL, hope you're feeling better))
The small figure ahead darted off; Dark struggled to keep an eye on her. Squinting in hope to keep track of Adeva, she quickly disappeared from sight. He scowled, "Darn it!" 'If this keeps up,' he reached for his cursed katana, 'I may have to rely on this.' He pulled up just enough to see the glint of its mettle. He assumed since she had been fine every other time, she'd still be fine if he withheld from restraint for a moment. Still, he didn't want to use its power. He didn't notice Adeva dart behind a tree. He quickly approached her tree without signs of stopping.
Par'il didn't look up from the acrobatic in the field, "Sorry to hear that." There was a small pause before he finally remarked, "Ilyana must be a powerful witch.*"
Siom spun towards the remaining unattacked dummy. As he was nearly there, he began spinning, using the hammer as a counter-balance. Making skimming contact with it once, he dropped the hammer on the back-swing. Dropping to a scale, he caught the hammer's strap on his foot. Spinning in his T-stance, he kicked the weapon into the dummy's side twice before again letting it slide off on the back swing. Still outstretched, he caught the hammer with both arms. Spinning back to face his target, Siom swung his foot back to the ground, bringing the hammer up over his shoulder and smashing into the equivalent place of the base of the dummy's neck. Quickly, he turned and, with one hand, side tossed the hammer to the first manikin. Siom, however, rushed to the second one. With a round-off back-handspring, he launched up and fell through the air, becoming his own projectile, and pounded his feet into this dummy. The hammer skipped across the ground a few times, then ricocheted off the first manikin into the air. As Siom's feet made contact with his dummy, the wood began to bend back. The flex slowed and the dummy tried to return to its upright state. Siom sprung off as it returned. He began to flip. Grabbing the hammer, Siom spun low to the ground and smashed the weapon into the dirt. A shock-wave could be felt in the stands as dust rushed from the impact to the edge of the ring. The wooden figures seemed to crack and shatter, but despite the damage, remained in either one or two large pieces. He grunted and spoke softly, "Darn! The dwarven earth-based attack is still not masterd enough..." He didn't move for a moment, taken in the attack itself...
((*Note: English isn't Par'il's native language, as such, he is not familiar with the negative conotations of the word.)) ((Rundown: (dummy: action) Southwest: Hammer hit, 2 hammer kicks, Hammer Smash... Shockwave Northwest: Hammer toss, Shockwave East: Chest stomp, Shockwave))

Kayla watched Siom as he finished with his last strike at the practice dummies. Isaac looked around the arena, somewhat lost in thought. Kayla looked up at her father with a curious expression. *What are you looking at father?* Kayla sent curiously. *Oh, nothing really. It's just been so long since I came back here is all.* Isaac sent back in reply. Kayla nodded in reply. "Why don't we head to the lounge for a while?" Kayla suggested. "Sounds good." Isaac replied as they both walked towards the lounge. Once they got there, Isaac held the door open for Kayla and followed her in. Both of them took a seat at an empty table.

Ilyana looked to the side. "I sense someone wants my food..." Ilyana just continued to eat as she watched Siom for a bit.
Shin-lu waved her hand dismissively. "Actully that's what I thought too, but Ilyana says that magic is actually quite common where she's from and she's actually a weaker mage. But she's been quite helpful so far, I don't care too much about that." She grinned as she put one arm around Ilyana as she watched Siom. "Hmmm, hey Siom! Shouldn't you fight against real people instead of still targets?" She asked.

You'll never expect what you can't see... ((Sorry. Hi.))
Par'il had ignored Ilyana, too focused on the match. Hearing Shin-lu state Ilyana was weak after stating her feat seemed odd. The elves of his village too practiced magic, but she would seem to easily rival the village's best. As Siom finished, he paused to look to Ilyana in curiosity.
Siom heard Shin-lu shout. "Maybe I should, but it never hurts to practice!" He paused to think for a moment. "Doesn't one typically practice a move before trying to use it on an opponent from where you come from? You ought to know your strength and reach well before accidentally killing someone."

Shin-lu shrugged. "Typically you never kill someone on your first time with a move. Just saying, with all the people here and with all the healing magic, why use dummies?"
Ilyana continued to eat her food before she noticed Par'il looking at her. "...you can't have any, I'm still hungry.." She murmered as she ate.

((I would appreciate any donations if anyone is willing to please help me out. *sigh* Feels like I'm starting over in a way. ;_; )) Kayla turned to Graff with a friendly smile. "Um, no I haven't seen anyone come in for a while Graff." she replied honestly. Isaac smiled as he too looked at Graff. "It's quite alright. I'm Isaac the Sword, Kayla's father." he replied. "I used to come here to the Gladiator's arena myself many years ago. It's good to meet you." Isaac said, returning the bow.

"I was once a participant here at the arena. I do have my own style of fighting. I've learned it from my father who taught me when I was a child. I started teaching Kayla the same type of fighting style I learned when she was that age as well. It's a family tradition in my clan." Isaac explained. Kayla just smiled at her father, enjoying his company as she listened quietly. Isaac returned the smile to Kayla, for to him it felt good to visit with his daughter at a place he was familiar with.
