 I tried my hand at darkening the lines and giving it a slightly smoother feel. The name part didn't turn out, so I just removed it... lol

I attempted to demonstrate what I meant by "depth in shading" and "don't be afraid push the shadows deeper"... Which resulted in fail but this is the general idea (on the hood only, worked with Mirou's version in PS Elements) The face got messed up in the process- please ignore sweatdrop

It's not hard in Photoshop, because all you have to do is lay a series of colours down and use the smudge tool to poke the colours around. But with pixel art, there's obviously no smudge tool, so you'll have to actually put the colours where you want them to be, instead of poking them around later sweatdrop
