a Kikyo shadow clone pushed Rin out of the way, as Kikyo looked at the two. she was thinking hard of a plan and then she got an idea. she had a few rice balls in her kunai pack. she took them out and looked at Fujin and Raijin. "you two want these?" she asked, hoping to give Rin time to catch her breath.

Both brothers stopped their frenzy and watched the rice balls. Thse two would do almost anything for food, it was their escape from anger.
"Yes! Lady give us food!"
"Yeah! Lady give us food!"
Both of the brothers ran up to Kikyo and stared down at the rice balls, drooling from their mouth onto the ground.

"alright" Kikyo said "but only if you guys take these and leave the arena, ok? you can keep watching the fights, but you won't continue our match. k?" she held the rice balls in front of her, waiting for their answer.
Rin relaxed, and hoped Kikyo had this under control

Both nodded towards Kikyo as a yes.
"whatever you say lady, give us food!"
"Yeah, give us food!"
The audience just stared towards the arena blankly, they couldn't believe how stupid this was getting, they were gonig to forfeit basicly. No one bothered to speak up though at risk of angering the brothers.

Sirius says to Haze, "The body snatchers old position in Akatsuki. Sirius facepalms himself at the food incident, "Now this is just ridiculus."

Haze snikered as tears came down his eyes "That was so funny." Haze looked over to Iris "Well if I win can I keep the postion?"

"ok" Kikyo said, handing over the two rice balls. "now you can leave the fighting area" she looked over at Rin who just sighed with relief.

Both brothers nodded with huge grins on their faces as they turned around to leave the arena.
"Ladies nice to give us food."
"Yeah, that best fight yet!"
Both the brothers gathered the food they set aside and left the arena, stuffing their faces with bite of bite of food.
"And...Uh...Winner by default, the Leaf Duo...Fantastic..."
The crowd groaned and sighed as they began gonig to the consession stands to buy food and drinks for the next match, as well as use the bathroom.
"Lets hope the next fight doesn't bite as bad folks, The Sound Duality versus SBD...Wait, the Sound Duality had to forfeit, Ukon is too badly injured to fight in the next battle. As arena custom, the team forfeiting has one hour to find a repalcement for Ukon."

Kikyo smiled and walked over to Rin "you ok?" she asked "yah" Rin said with a smile "good thinking. i think." "thanks!" Kikyo said in reply "i think" the two then walked back to the balcony the group was at. the second that the got onto the balcony, Neji walked over to them "you two are idiots!" "so?" Rin and Kikyo said in unison.

Kagome wandered around the forest, and after a few hours, she came across the tournament. she snuck into the crowd and waited for someone to tell her what was going on.
"man that fight was the weirdest!" said a guy in dark red and gold
"i know!" said the chick in purple next to him.
"that pair Kikyo and Rin don't deserve to be in this competition!" said the guy.
"i know!" replied the chick as they made their way back to the seats
Kagome followed them to the stands and sat down in one near the back and watched.

"Since we are far into the tournament, it will have to be someone who hasn't fought yet. I think I might go in Ukon's palce, I did injure him enough to make him forfeit."
"Kikyo and Rin aren't very good with the crowd now. Nothing is popularity breaker like bribery. This is where that Uzumaki kid could have coem in handy, he could have took Ukon's place."
