Elgarez glanced over his book and raised an eyebrow. "You're going out in that?" he asked, somewhat surprised. "If your mission is to get yourself a man, consider it complete." He continued reading his book. "Every man on the way will want you," he added. "So stay safe."

"A man indeed." She smiled. "Dont wait up." And with that she went out to the stable to her perfect black stallion Nightwing. She climbed on, holding the reins tightly, the leather of the saddle against her thighs. Slipping her knee boots into the stirrups. She paused a moment at the front of the castle, as though expecting something. Thinking of her now fine plan.

Eros closed his eyes against the memory begging to be released. Those words were so familiar. He focused instead on the man before him. He gave Lucas a small, kind and yet false smile.
"You can't very well paint here, now can you?" The surprise on Lucas' face was overwhelming.
"You truly will allow me to paint you?"
"Well of course. Now, let us be going. I want to see the masterpiece you make of me." Eros spoke with a hint of laughter in his voice, as he stood.
"But the masterpiece has already been formed. I merely wish to copy it." Lucas stood, gathering his coat and sliding it over his shoulders, allowing the large mass to swallow him. None of the drunk, odorous me had heard the conversation of the two strangers. They did not even notice when the young, handsome traveler and the pale, beautiful stepped over half the room's inhabitants to cross the threshold into the night.

Devi urged the stallion on, running at half speed until she reached the edge of the small town. A large warehouse stood on the edge of town, lights flashing from inside it. Devi vanished the horse into her pendant on her choaker and knocked on the door. Three knocks in a pattern. "Passcode?" A voice called. "Salem." Devi replied. The door swung open. Music blared from the inside. She stepped in and looked at the room. Bodies full of blood...She merely need choose one.

Jusaku looked at Devi. "Be safe." Is all he said to her, he turned his attention to Elgarez. "So, you had a nice talk to Devi I presume?"

Eros studied Lucas' facial expressions as he painted. The boy, for to Eros' age that is all he was, concentrated to the point of oblivion. Anything could have happened in any other rooms of the small apartment and Lucas would not have, in the slightest, paused his brush. He also smiled at times. He seemed to finish one part, stand back to inspect Eros and the painting, then smile. His smile had no pride; it was pure. The boy was happy with his work, but he knew it was not entirely his own creation.
After hours of near silence, only the sounds of Lucas' brushstrokes filling the air, the artist stood back to appraise his finished work. He set his pallette on a small, oak coffee table, and turned back to his painting.
"It pales by comparison, but.."
"Nonsense! Allow me to judge." Eros crossed the few feet to Lucas' easle and stood directly beside the boy. Their shoulders brushed, and Eros was forced to stifle a shudder. The heat radiating from the mortal's skin was enough to nearly intoxicate him.
"It's perfect."

"... Am I really that invisible??" Baylor asked himself with a hint of sadness.

Elgarez glanced at Jusaku. "I suppose that would require what you define as 'nice' talk," he replied. "We spoke briefly." He allowed his book to disappear into thin air.

Devi watched the bodies all around from the wall. The scent of them was driveing her wild. The sweat as their warm flesh moved, their hearts beating faster. Danceing and danceing. "The fools...The cat amoung so many mice. She watched them dance, waiting for a prey to appear. A break in the crowd came and Devi saw the bar. Her heart surged. A flawless male stood there, blonde and blue eyed. Devi slowly walked through the crowd which parted instantly to her ghostly presence. She sat down at the bar next to him, twirling her hair in her hands, watching him. Planning and calculateing her next move.

"Where is she going?" He could tell that she was lonely. But, needed to get out. But where would she go?, He thought.

Emerald eyes were staring through him, into his deepest thoughts and emotions. Raven colored hair fell softly, alluringly into the green jewels. Pale, untouched skin contrasted with the black locks above and the sable tones surrounding. The night itself seemed to glance into the souls of the onlookers.
Eros was awed by this man's pure talent. Modern art was absolutely horrid, but this portrait was spectacular. He had not gazed upon his own face in centuries. He had only allowed one other mortal to ever render his image on canvas, but that was the past.
Lucas could not stand the silent, unchanging expression his new acquaintance seemed to take pleasure in. It tortured him.
"What do you think?" His voice was little more than a whisper. Eros turned his attention to this wonderful gem he had found.
"I already told you. It's perfect."
"You couldn't really mean that." The blush was crawling across Lucas' visage once more. Eros turned to fully face him, placing one hand on either of the boy's warm shoulders. Lucas could feel his warmth stolen from him by the frozen fingers resting upon him.
"What if i told you I sincerely meant every word. My Lucas, I would never lie to you."

Devi's own instincts tugged at her again, something was amiss. She brushed it off. Eros was not her concern here, prey was. She turned to her new plaything. "Hello there." Devi smiled to him, hideing her fangs. He blushed just slightly and began stuttering. "Me?" He whispered. "Yes you, can I buy you a drink?" thrill rushed over Devi. She had gotten a shy little snack in her trap. "Y-yes...whiskey...?" he stuttured. His blonde hair was positively perfect to her, she was so tempted it was hard to control.

((I won't allow this rp to die.))
Jusaku sat down on a chair in the room. He conjured up a glass of blood wine. He sipped it. "As long as she comes back in one piece, I am fine."

Elgarez sighed. "She went to go find herself a man," he said, crossing his arms. "If and when she gets back is a complete toss-up." He stretched out, having been sitting for quite some time. "You don't have anything to worry about. She can take care of herself."
