LadyJedi Some folks skipped to the end of the day. So wherever you want to be, that's fine. I need to start working on the upcoming team competition. That's good to know. I've been having difficulty posting, not just because I'm new, but the times are starting to break and scatter.

Today I'm going to push the game to the next morning. Personally, I want to get in a New Mutants team training session. For as much as we all like downtime, they do cause a bit of a scatter when it comes to time frames.

I like the cards a lot and I was wondering about the last mission...I don't quite know if Isis should get any points. She was "there" but since I had internet troubles while at my dad's, I don't think it's fair tht she get them because I couldn't post at all during the battle. I'm just trying to be fair, is all. Also, with the new system, will accomplishments be added to the cards, even though the character didn't earn them while at the institute?

What kind of accomplishments?
Im going to be a little hard here as to the "I don't know what to write." There is always something to write. Just because we are not fighting doesn't mean that there isn't something to do. PM another player and have your characters hang out? Go to class, go to lunch. There is always something to do. And we have always said if you are at a loss feel free to PM a mod.
The excuse that you don't know what to write will not save you from a strike when it comes to not keeping up to your posts.

Well I meant that like the non-mutant things. I saw on a lot of profiles that some of the students are very good at martial arts, fencing or gymnastics; to name a few things.

Ummm well really I think for the most part its just the basic stats listed. If you spend points on something(such as weapon skills) , it is probably kept somewhere.

I read Shi's post and I was about to say the same thing, and then I read Djinn's post and I was like...naaah.

actually. I just had this post that was about 4 paragraphs long that involved Mjems character Mason but then he posted and now i have to revise it a lot. and it was just those couple of times. I normally will come up with at least 2 paragraphs worth of stuff. and if i do need an excuse for getting out of a strike i think i might come up with something more complicated like, 'An elephant ate my computer and when i went to circuit city the whole computer section was rolled over by Captain Jack Swallows on that weird wheel thing that they were on in that one moive. Sorry if this comes off as rude or......snippish?, is that the right word?. Oh well. It wasn't meant to be rude or snippish. Sorry for making you read this very long paragraph i don't know if this classifys as a rant but sometimes i just go off and rant. yeah....i think i'll shut up now.

I was able to keep one paragraph with a couple of revisions but it wasn't a big problem. I do it to people all the time so i deserve it. and yes, agreeing with me helps, just ask Ai. Agreeing with me always works.

We're not putting them on the cards mostly because there is no room for it. But if you look at some of the bios like Thorn and Siren, we added a section to the bio that lists the non mutant skills. THe cards are more for fun. We really look at the bios when comparing things for missions and stuff.

And folks posting on top of each other and having to rewrite is frustrating. But it happens unfortunately. I know there have been quite a few times I've had to rewrite work because of mistiming. Or the worst is when gaia eats the post! That always makes me want to cry.
But we all have to just deal with it. There really is no getting around it. Frustrating as it may be. Cause if we didn't have to worry about it, that means we have no guild members... and well, that's no fun!
