I really wish I could enter Risika, but my computer isn't working, I have to use my dads laptop and this thing is murder enough to do small sprites...let alone edits.

that's okay shianu. If I don't get anymore entries I'll just cancel it, and give the guy who did enter a compensation prize, then put the rest of that gold into the art contest i'm running.

Potto The Magnificent Just to let any who cares know, Potto now has a deviantart account razz Its Pottomagnifico, and I've already started loading up pictures, more are on the way though. I shall stalk you then! Mwuahah! Yah, I'm back from break. Back from the parent's house. It was great - my brother let me play the new Zelda on his new Wii. Okay. My opinion? Best console ever made. Best game ever made. It's right up there tied with Chrono Trigger right now because it's the only other game that has had me on the edge of my seat going "NO WAY WTF OMG." I. want. one. I want a Wii so bad. I swear, I'm redoing my budget to see if I can afford one after Christmas. Want one SO BAD. It is freaking amazing. And Link is tremendously sexy. He wears armor! About freaking time! Oh, and on a side-note: I am officially diagnosed with *deep breath* idiopathic myoclonus. Which translates to: "minor seizures for unknown reasons." Altough it might be genetic from my dad. I'm milking that one for all its worth. But I'm on anti-seizure meds now which are working incredibly well. I feel great. Edit: Jeez Potto, I had no idea you were so good at art... eek

It's as good as Chrono Trigger?
KIDDO thinks it's as good as CHRONO TRIGGER?
Kiddo, whose tastes in like everything seem to be pretty much identical to mine?
I think I need a Wii now.

Yeah. It gets better too, Lucca.
See, I am extremely picky in hack-and-slash games. I usually play RPGs because those don't involve pushing the button to make the sword move. I got bored playing Oblivion because of that very thing - it involved hitting buttons to make a sword move. I mean, I do that in real life. I pick up a sword and shield and go fight people in real life, so why would I want to do it in a video game?
Zelda is in the genre of game I don't play. I'm playing it. And loving it. And sqeeing with delight when I master a new sword technique. This is literally the first game that involves swords that I have enjoyed since picking up swordfighting. That says a lot.
That and the world-building is very in-depth, the plot is amazing, and the seriousness of the game has been kicked up about a bazillion notches. I almost cried at a couple parts and cringed at some more just because everything was so dang real and serious. It's a lot more intense than the other Zelda games they've made. A lot more. And that's what I loved about Chrono Trigger as well.

I'm a total dud when it comes to colouring stuff though. The best I can do with photoshop when it comes to large pictures is cell-shading... gonk I've tried to do a bit more a few times, but as you can probably tell, the results were less than spectacular.

Okay. I am so excited. I'm writing a novella for my mother for Christmas and it's coming along so incredibly well. I just got to the chapter where the main character finally meets the villian and not only does she meet the villian but she finds out that he was once a champion of Lastille, just like her, and that no one told her that small, insignificant, earth-shattering, detail.
Mmmmlove inflicting mental trauma on characters.
