I heard somewhere that Darth Fatass said they had to do it so people wouldn't get the two Anakins mixed up or something.

That is the most retarded thing I've ever heard. And why should he care if people get them mixed up. One, they're stupid people. Two, he's making money anyways. Three, sensible people like this Anakin better than Pretty boy, whiney face, annoying Anakin.

I swear, the Star Wars universe would have been a much better place if he died right after RotJ came out. Someone else, like Zahn or something could have taken over.

I always referred to Anakin Solo as Anakin Solo so that the people that I talked to knew who I was talking about. There's no reason to kill-off a good character because of their name.
