Um well I was in a band-lationship twice. I play trombone so I stick with low brass. I dated our 2 chair baritone player. After a month I got tired of it cause it was wierd I guess..... Any way the second one was the most recent actually ended a couple of weeks ago....I'd been wanting to date him for ever. he was a trombone player just like me. Sat two seats away from me but I was next to him all the time during marching season(BD was torturing me!) So this year I finally asked him out and I was all happy happy and I played a lot better when he said yes....Then he made a mistake so I tried to push him off the field commander stand this year.....it was an accident Mr BD I swear that I wasn't near him when he fell....But now we're friends again even though he still likes me a lot and vice versa.....
Ok last year: We had a senior(graduate) dating a junior(senior now) and OMG it was off and on....I mean talk about a band-lationship....this was the biggest one....They had been dating since his(senior) 8th grade year.... One day one the bus to a game tey got caught making out and boy was BD pissed....He actually made the guy get a ride home w/ someone....

I might be in a band-lationship sometime soon, if I didn't screw it up already. But there's a slight problem seeing as I'm his sectionleader.....but our BD nor my section leader has to know......right...?

There are lots of people in my band who are going out. It would be wierd to me if they weren't.

Sinsa (I'm new here btw) Most bands have at least 1 pair of kids who are in a relationship, in our band we call it a "Band-lationship". Now, we had one band-lationship in our highschool band last year, now, at retreat girls can't go into guys cabins and guys can't go into girls cabins (god only knows what happend to cause that). While I wasn't in highschool when this happend I was in jazz band with these 2 kids and they really did go at it (silly altos). Since then these 2 have gone diffrent ways (the chick quit band) and up till now there hasnt been a "Band-lationship". Now I am going out with the bass trombone and we are the "Band-lationship". He sits right next to me in band, both Jazz and stage (I play bass clarinet in stage and trombone in jazz) so we are the butts of many jokes. Now, onto my actual topic, do you have a "band-lationship" in your band? If so has anything funny or annoying happend from it at retreat, camp, tour, or concerts? Damn that was long.... yeah...that actually was long!!!! eek ....we have one with a tuba and a tenor (drum)...from what i think...nothing interesting happened yet...but i'm gonna be watchful!! mrgreen

I'm dating this girl from a school on the northern end of the state. I live at the southern end. She's a dancer and I'm a tuba player. I still love her, though we rarely see each other.

Hmm, that's actually pretty true, haha. Well, as for me, I'm not currently in a band-lationship, though I was last year for a little bit. We have a couple of band-lationships though, which is kindof cool. If I'm lucky, I might get one. The man I like is in band, as am I. wink

We have LOADS of relationships in band. All the band kids go out with each other, its hilarious, yet strangely cute :3 One of our clarinet/colorguard + euphonium relationships just broke up, and one of our trumpet players is going out with a percussionist. There's some strange love triangle between 3 of our saxaphones O_o
