Unhae, unlike the boy, had been specifically taught by her father who and who not to fear. Xeen Soltari was on the "fear and do whatever he says, but expect him to kill you as soon as see you" list.
She huddled up into a little ball and pretended she was still asleep. Don't let 'im know I'm here...

Unhae's eyes snapped open. Blitz, with the trademark blue hair, was on the "He's fine, but he does strange things if you annoy him" list. The girl had no idea what that meant, but she had a feeling it meant strange things to you.
A.C., propping a large cardboard box between hand and hip (the bat behind her head) sashyed up. "I certainly hope 'time out' is a perfectly safe corner or small pithole somewhere very nearby, Mr. Krieg," she said in a perfectly calm tone. "It could be bad if he were, say... tied up somewhere over there." And she pointed in the exact direction where the boy was. She had kept him nearby long enough to get familiar with his energy's 'taste,' and could sense him.

A.C. gave him The Look and turned her head towards where she felt the boy. Her eyes unfocused... or did they sharpen? "Is it possible for him to electrocute himself..? I don't know that, about electric supers. He's not in control of his powers--I don't think he knows about them yet.
"Unhae?" She crouched down next to the little girl (not setting anything down, but shifting her grip on the bat) and nudged her. "You alright? You're crying." Unhae just nodded and sat up to strangle A.C. in a tight hug.

Blitz laughed. "He's exactly where you think. Tied up over there." He pointed. "And I was speaking of us electric supers in general. Basically, it takes a hell of a lot of electricity to kill one. More than I've seen produced by nature or any man made object."

"Oh yeah?" A.C. snapped back. "How about a little kid with only a few sparks in 'im? One who hasn't fully come into his powers yet? I'm willing to bet you've never met one. Come on, Unhae. Let go." The girl obediently let go of A.C.'s neck and wiped her tears.
A.C. stood back up, pulling the girl gently to her side. Inconspicuously, she was memorizing the girl's 'taste'... as well as the rest of theirs. Just in case. "Mrs. Soltari, may I ask you to watch the baby just a little bit longer? And Unhae here--she won't be a trouble. Fetching the boy immediately would be... preferable."
