"With all the stuff 'round here i'd think that there'd be someone 'round." He knew someone but that wasn't an option. "Have ya looked lately?" He set his plate down and went in search of stuff to put his leftovers in.

"Not since I moved to the area," Kaleb said, sitting back down and waiting for Riley to finish with the leftovers. "I was surprised when I didn't find any doctors around here, I believe the only one who is familiar with my type of magic is a neurologist at the hospital where I work."

"Should look again." He shoved the leftovers in the fridge and turned around to look at Kaleb. 'Maybe ask some of tha people ya work with and see if they know anyone? Or as 'round"

"I'll ask next time I go in," Kaleb said, nodding a bit. He wasn't sure why Riley was being so insistent, but he figured it was probably his partner's obsession with making him eat 'properly' that was doing it. "You have a doctor you see when you aren't well, do you think they would know anything about magic?" He figured since Riley was fairly skilled at magic, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

"... He might, but i wouldn't ask him." He was cracked out on more science than anything healthy. "He works with Mako so he'd probably have no expierence with yer stuff"

Kaleb nodded, and then got up to find somewhere more comfortable to sit. He could probably get some reading done if he curled up on the couch for the rest of the evening. "Okay... I really don't think it's that big a deal though. Besides, I don't get sick often."

He went to flop on the couch and turn on his video games for a while. "You'll say that till ya end up horribly sick and that'd suck." It'd make him feel horrible too since there wouldn't be any way he could help.

The little mage pulled a book into his lap and flipped through until he found the right page. "I-I'm usually okay, I haven't been really sick for several years. Besides, if I were that sick, I wouldn't have been able to do anything about it while I lived alone anyway."

"I do take care of myself, that's why I don't get sick often." Kaleb huffed, glancing up from the tables and diagrams on the page in front of him. "Prevention is a better strategy than treatment when you're on your own, and I don't plan on changing that now that I live with you. I don't want to be sick."

He grumbled slightly and ignore answering that. It was no use some days trying to get Kaleb to do stuff to fix problems rather than just living with them. There had to be ways to fix not being able to eat meat if he just looked.

Kaleb resisted the urge to stick out his tongue at his partner, and went back to his book. After a few minutes he shifted to lay back against the arm of the couch, and tried to get comfortable without getting in Riley's space. He didn't want to get his partner killed in his game or anything.

He cursed at the game after a minuet and shifted slightly. He was at a part of the game he wasn't good at but he knew Kaleb would probably not like him cursing up a storm at it.

Kaleb tucked his feel up next to him and tried not to move too much otherwise and distract his partner. It really sounded like he needed to concentrate. Maybe he could bring Riley a drink next time he took a break.

He noticed Kaleb shifting and once he got though the part of his game and paused the game. "Sorry ... i'm probably gettin in the way of yer studyin aren't i?"
