...If you hear a song and learn it by yourself.
My best friend did this, he started to listening to Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts alot, and now he can play it on the violin by teaching himself. xd

you've made a move based in the band room redface ( I did that phantom of the band room) or documentry about your life in band... biggrin
I wrote the story myself and me and my friends acted/recorded it... heart

DiddleFreak61387 You know you're a band nerd when you start to sing past shows and your friends join in. My friends did that once, they were walking down the hall way and one asked how this part in one song goes, and they got to it and on the next downbeat they all busted into last year's show.. haha ive done that.

You know you're a band geek when:
blaugh You find a band nerd guild and become giddy with excitment, knowing you aren't the only one.
blaugh You read through this thread from page one to 43, laughing hysterically because either they're funny, or you can relate to them so well.
blaugh You spend more than three hours trying to find a song that you have a solo on so you can hear it.
blaugh You play along to it once you find it, turning the song up as loud as you can so it feels, as much as it can, that you're playing with that band.
blaugh You force all your friends to listen to music you played at band camp while they whine and complain at you.
blaugh You practice before you do your homework.
blaugh You don't stop practicing, even though your face hurts/your lips are bleeding/your braces are cutting into your lips.
blaugh You schedule meetings with your friend during the summer to help eachother improve.
blaugh You join an RP university guild on Gaia and are the music theory teacher.
blaugh You are the only flute in Jazz band, just because you can be.
blaugh You willingly take music theory.
blaugh You sit and come up with millions of things that you do that call you a band geek.
blaugh You and your friends come up with a club, "Band Geeks United," and start making little cards and descretely pass them around.
blaugh When you're in a store and they have music playing, you walk to the time, despite the ridiculous speed, even if it forces you to walk past the same thing several times.
blaugh You can march, but you can't walk up stairs without tripping.
blaugh Band occupies half of your schedule, even in the summer.
blaugh The second you open your mouth, your friends roll their eyes, because they know you're going to say something about band.
Okay, I'm done for now xD

when you figure out how to play the school song on your friend's electric organ thing because you got bored waiting for your friend to pick you up. (the catch - i'm a brass player.)

I have done that SO many times with my friends. One will start humming it and we'll all join in doing our parts. To an extent, it's pathetic...but thats band for you!
