Shinichi sat down on the ground with a grunt. Surely he had just been extremely unlucky these past months; Anybody else would have already learned this technique with less effort. Was there something in his nature that utterly prevented him from learning this jutsu, a concealed disability? It wasn't his skills, but what else was a factor in this? While contemplating this, Shinichi picked himself up and tried to spot the shuriken while performing the steps.

Aye, this was no doubt hard, but the more time spent on this meant that it got easier with every try. Shinichi suddenly decided to try for quantity, not just quality. Afterall, the other shinobi who had learned this technique had tried as hard as he had so far.

And then Shinichi realised what he had been doing all along. The shuriken couldn't be visible from the ground level, but there was a small space in the branches situated so that a ninja could see the shuriken with a small jump. So he really had been wasting his time this whole time! Ha... Shinichi had to use all self control he had to stifle multiple yells and curses. That was why he had been failing all this time! And he had even conceived false delusions that there was something wrong with him! Shinichi ran away from the clones and peeked through that window. That was all there was to this...

[Congrats on getting to skip the training then. xP]
Drakyn was feeling a bit drained from the prolonged use of the jutsu, so he decided it was almost time to stop. He headed quickly back toward the village, gaining altitude slowly as he went. As he neared the open area of the training grounds, he swooped down and right before hitting the ground, the wings gave a last push, causing him to remain motionless about 6 inches from the ground for a few seconds. The wings then spread out as he slowly touched the ground. Drakyn formed a single seal, then the wings glowed brightly for a single instant, then faded lightly into nothingness.

[Yea. He did the wrong type of training for over a month and I hadn't been checking up on everyone in here, so he pretty much wasted on month on something that he completed two weeks ago.]
"Kohki my boy! Are you ready to show me that you understand the open palm now?" Tenmoki asked the boy, standing in front of him with her hands on her hips.

The Kage created a clone with the exact stature as the boy. Its power was equally matched to Kohki's. It came at the boy with great speed and a fisted punch towards the center of his face.

Kohki managed to move a few centimeters to the left, and just in time. The punch was off by about 5 centimeters from his face. Kohki stroke the clone with his palm right in the stomach.

[do we round up or down for the percent thing?]

Kohki's palm hit the clone as hard as it could. It didn't seem that powerfull though. He stood up straight and waited for the Kage's instructions.

"It seems you got it, Kohki!" Tenmoki said as the clone dispelled with the hit he gave to it. "Do you think you got it? Any questions?" she asked him. She wanted his reassuring answer that he understood the technique perfectly.

Kohki shook his head. He understood the jutsu pretty well, and was glad he had finally learned it.
"Thank You.." he said bowing to the Kusakage.
