Mwali watched the lioness go on her way. She was truely beautiful, living up to everything he expected her race to be like. Headstrong but deep down gentle, beautiful in all ways. Her deep brown eyes, the golden fur, and the fantastic patterns of white and red along her body. The male smiled, laying his great head down onto his paws. It was getting colder- this would be his first night in the green lands... it was much colder here than it was back home. It really would take a few nights in the cold to get used to the tempature. He missed the feeling of the multiple bundles of fur in his sides, on his head, or between his paws. They all had found new cubs to play with... that was good. They'd grow up accepted into the pride, they'd grow strong and noble. They'd all find mates and make cubs of their own. He had the contenment of watching and knowing that he made it possible.
Deep in his mind he knew that he'd never be a great hunter or a noble lion of any kind- but at least he had done something for someone else once in his life. He hated to admit it to himself but he still wanted something for himself in this whole deal. He wanted a mate, he wanted acceptance, he wanted strength and cunning. Things he'd never have wherever he went. It was a common tie he had dealt with all his life but the sting of realinization was still bitter and twisted his stomache a bit.
Sleep now..., he coaxed to himself, letting his eyes fall closed and his body shift to one side. The ground wasn't as soft as the sands but the grass more than made up for it. The soothing smell of life and rain- it was fabulous.

Wokovu looked as if he almost blushed, if a lion could, as sarabi answered his question. He sat proudly a bit trying to look dignified "I-I knew that." he stated trying to look smart. He dropped his little act smiling at her while listning intentivly, like everythign he heard was another part of an adventure "I'm Wokovu." He grinned, striking a pose, as young maile lions still try to look "cool"
Pausing he looked over his sholder as his brother and the cheetah approached "Teule!" he hopped to his feet, running to his brother happilly. "Theres a prince here! and he's as big as we are! and and ZEBRA!" Wokovus tail swayed in the air eagerly as he said all this.
Yakuti watched him smiling a bit, watchign him suddenlly run off she smiled at Sarabi, though her fur fluffed in tension as her instincts told her "Lion! RUN you idiot, run!" "I'm Yakuti, its nice to meet you." she smiled letting silence take a moment before excusing herself to trot over to mwali, yawning and curling herself next up to his side she watched as nighttime slowly came.

Iris_Virus "I want.. to leave?" -The look on his face was soft surprise, but after a moment he gave a nod.- "If you don't feel comfortable here, or simply want to move on there isn't anything I can do to stop you. Simply be carefully, and if things ever get rough, know you're welcome here." Athari inclined his head once more. "I do appreciate your hospitality...but I think I've come to realize why it is that my kind usually live alone, or at least, in smaller groups. And I will never forget the invitation, because who knows when I'll be craving the kind of refuge you've offered me..." he broke off with a nervous laugh. Turning to Taku, his eyes softened, and he nosed at her shoulder affectionately. "It's simply...time. I just don't feel like this is where I'm s'posed to end up..." he said, his speech slipping back into his usual, more informal style.

Taku sniffled slightly, her muzzle wrinkling back as she did before she nuzzled into the leapord cub's soft furry neck, trying to hold back the small tear's that appeared in her kitsune green eye's. "Yeah....I guess...but I'm really gonna miss you Athari..." Her tail wrapped around herself as she pulled back and looked at him, her small pup ear's flattening back. At the same time a flurry of black feather's was seen as Chalavu landed next to the small wild cat, smiling softly at him. "The same goes for me too Athari...I will miss you..." She spoke seriously, but her black beady eye's showed she really did mean her word's.

Teule cocked his head, taking in the sight of the golden lioness. Prince, zebra? He wasn't surprised upon hearing that their was Prince in these lands, they seemed to be common, anyway. But Zebra? Teule placed himself next to his brother, whispering into Woko's sienna ear as if nervous the lioness might hear him.
"What's Zebra, Woko? And...who's that?"
Taka flitted by Sarabi, seeing as the lioness seemed to mean no harm since Mwali and Yakuti were near sleep. Taka didn't seem to notice the claw marks down her flank or the slight cut on her chest from where the gazelle had kicked her. Dropping her head by their ears, she spoke lwoly, wondering what hse had missed.
"Sorry for leaving, I saw a 'zelle and couldn't pass up the opputunity for food. I uh, didn't catch it though. I was shown up by some hyena. What happened while I was gone and..who's the lioness?"
Taka whispered in the same way Teule had done, not wanting the new lioness to hear her questions.

((Lovely typo on my part. x.x I seem to be good at those. ^ ^; ))
-He listened silently, to the three converse and say their goodbyes, eyes lightly on the young leopard. It was true that his kind did tend to be more solitary.. and maybe it was better off this way.. instead of getting attached to a home that he'd be forced to leave once he'd grown.-

Wokovu shrugged a bit, whispering back "Iunno, but.. the lioness said it had hooves and it was white with black sripes.." he tried to picture the animal in his mind, which didn't look anything like a real zebra.. He looked back at the lioness "Oh thats Sarabi.. and the two cubs are nala and Simba. Simbas a prince, No one was nice when we got here.. and Sarabi was really scary.. but now shes nice." he grinned, before yawning a bit ears lowering "C'mon Teul' she said we could eat some of the.. zebra. She said it tasted good!" he once again perked up, turning and trying to rush off to the carcass eager to try this new.. thing.
Yakuti blinked, ears flicking foreward as the cheetah came over "Thats fine, Everyone seemd to thave started quite an uproar.." (hah pun.) she cocked her head to the side "But by the time i got up the rock it was over. Everyone seemed to have a change of attitude after the king showed up. The lioness is Sarabi, I think shes the queen.." she paused before leaning up to whisper somethign to Taka so mwali couldn't hear "And i think Mwali allready has an intrest in one of the lioness."

Mwali was halfway to sleep by then, contented with the feeling of a little warm body beside his again. His body ached worse than ever now that he had a moment to lay down and notice it but he tried to push it from his mind. His ears rotated a bit to listen to the whisperings of the cubs, smirking a bit and parting an eye just slightly. He heard the mention of his name but nothing else really, he wanted to chuckled and wrap his great paws around them until they told him what they had said but he remained motionless.

"Hello Teule, where were you?" Jasiri questioned. So many things were happening at once. She cocked her head, the smell of meat filling her nostrils. She relized how starving she acctully was. "Com'on Teule, whatever this thing is, it looks great!" Jasi dove in, riping off some meat from the hind leg. She chewed it happily, before gulping it down. The sun was slowly setting behind the horizon, and before she went in for another bite, she sighed and smiled and the beatiful sceane. They had come so far, and accieved so much. Now they could live in this paradise, with new friends, and a wonderful life. She could see Mwali lying below pride rock, and after taking another bite, she riped off a peice and making he way down the giant rock. She stopped a couple feet away, to check if he was awake or not. She didnt want to wake him, he'd had it rough these last couple of days. She stepped forward and dropped the meat infront of him, and nestled herself next to his body. She could feel his steady breathing, and she snuggled into his mane a little.

Teule engraved the names into his head so an not to forget and mimiced his brother, thinking up a boarish creature with black and white stripes and long spindly hooved legs. 'It doesn't look like it would taste good...Wait a sec!' A cub a Prince? Someone had reached his dream before he had? Teule humphed, remebering the name Simba. 'I should meet this Simba..' A cub a Prince like Mwali, unbelievable! Teule threw his gaze over to Mwali, his role model, whom he forogt for a seocnd. He instantly lightened up as Jasiri's voice reached his ears. He smiled weakly and cocked his head to the side. His stomach rumbled loudly, roaring for some dinner as he walked backwards so he was facing Jasi but following his brother.
"Me? I was hunting, though I didn't catch anything...Boy, am I hungry."
Taka nodded, the names vaguely familiar. The cheetah dropped her head closer to the fox's mouth since she seemed to not want Mwali to hear. Yakuti's last sentence came as a surprise. 'Taken to a lioness already?' Taka snickered, her mouth lifting into a teasing smirk, tail batting the rich earth repeatedly.
"Reeaally now? Well well, I'll need to see the lioness that has so captured I Prince's eye..."
Oddly, she felt compelled to see the lioness. More like judge the lioness. She was acting as if Mwali was one of her own cubs.

Sarabi looked up as the last rays of the sun struck her face, blinking rapidly against the glare. All the land below Priderock was colored gold and crimson by the setting sun, and the breeze, once warm, had chilled. Suddenly overcome, she yawned widely. Licking her chops, she stood and walked to her son. "Bedtime, young one. A future king needs his sleep to grow strong and healthy." Despite his protests, she picked her son up in her mouth and carried him to the den. It was dark inside, but she let the pads of her feet feel out the dip in the floor where she normally curled up, twined in with all the bodies of the other lionesses and her mate.

He smiled in contentment, reaching a massive paw over to bring the little warm bundles of fur inbetween his front legs and nessled them into his mane, the great head laying on the other side to make sure they'd be warm. It was odd not to feel them curled up to him, he wasn't sure he'd be able to sleep without them there now. It was more of an impulse than anything really, his mind had drifted well off into sleep by then. For once he felt safe. No longer did he have to mind himself around his father or fear that the water would dry up. Now he could sleep in the soft grass and learn everything that he rightfully should have learned as a cub.

((YAY first post as Sukutu!!!))
As the two small animal's said their goodbye's, another larger creature limped up the face of Pride Rock, a heavy wheezing coming from the opaque outline of the animal as it made it's way to where the other's where. It was Sukutu, he had been away for so long, trying to learn how to live life on his own, and he had hurt his paw in the process. A small scowl was on his face as some of his undevloped mane hung over half his face, his ear's flattened back before they both swivveled at the sound of new people. He raised his head and smirked as he smelt the scent of the cub's, and a male lion, not Mufasa. He just shrugged the thought of for now, his eye's widening as they lay on the majestic form of the golden lion, he then nervously limped up to where they all where and placed a soft smile on his muzzle. "Hey....seem's we have guests huh?" He said in a curious, yet nervous voice as his pale eye's looked at Mufasa.

((Congrats on getting him sweetie ^ ^ ))
-Mufasa's eyes squinted a little trying to make out the lion before him. Oh he knew who he was.. but to see him in such ill shape.. Giving a gentle nod he motioned towards the group outside and the den.- "Quite a few actually, of all different species."
-For a moment he debated asking the next question, knowing the pride of a young male was something that ought not be wounded.. and yet. He next words were very carefully filled with sincereity instead of taunt.- "Are you alright Sukutu? Perhaps we should go to the den, and see if there is something one of the lioness' can do for you?"
