Gah aeris is gone, finito, bai bai, maybe if she stuck around he would have gone with her, though I really doubt it, I think their relationship was much more brother and sisterish. Tifa is still around, they have history, a past, how long does cloud know aerith? Not long enough to fall in love with her maybe have a crush on her but certainly not be in love, to actually fall in love with someone takes a lot of time! Also tifa and cloud live together in advent children.... enough said on that topic!

1 , cloud didnt like yuffie definatley not,
2 , cloud loved aeris
3 , cloud was a childhood freind with tifa NOT in a relationship

it's hard to tell strictly because you can determine that in the game depending on the answers you give. However, it sure as heck wasn't Yuffie xd

I've always supported CloudxAeris, but I'm beginning to come to terms with how Aeris probably liked Cloud because of his similarities to Zack. And, as much as I don't totally support it, I believe that the game was leaning to CloudxTifa. razz

seeing how yuffie is only 16 i would probably say not, unless clouds a perv. I think cloud and aeris, because they are right next to eachother in the booklet

Whenever I see a topic like this the first thing that comes to mind is what Cloud's mother told him: 'I think you should just settle down. With someone older to take care of you.' Well, I can't remember the exact words, but that's the gist of it.
Right there, is a direct connection to Aerith (It's Aerith, not Aeris...game mistranslation xp ) To Cloud, she was the older sister, a mother even, to pick him up whenever he fell down. When that incident happened at the Forgotten Capital, he was devastated, of course. Who wouldn't be? There went his pillar of support and strenght and all he had to depend on now was his determination to retaliate against Sephiroth once and for all. Though, when that was gone...what else was there left to do?
Thus, Advent Children where he's trying to seek forgiveness upon not being able to save those he loved fast enough. ...Poor Cloud. crying
That comes over to Tifa. The promise they made together on the Well where he would be her knight in shinning armor ready to save her whenever she got into trouble. It's kind of like with Link and Zelda; Seifer and Ultimecia (... sweatdrop ); Squall and Rinoa; Zidane and Dagger -you know! Or, well, maybe you don't. sweatdrop The first few held examples of devotion whereas the last few led into forms of love. Yes, perhaps he does love her on a level, but he will always be her knight that kind of comes late to a party. (Hey, everyone needs time to think and collect themselves).
So, yeah:
Aerith: Beloved older sister.
Tifa: Damsel in distress; also there to force Cloud into action in the absence of others.
Yuffie: Why this is here, I have no idea... sweatdrop She's the younger sibling, here. That date was hilarious, though. xd

But if it can't be him, I think it would be Aeris... since when he was younger, he had liked her then. But she hadn't noticed him then. So he got over her and met Aeris, who he fell in love with. Then, Tifa began to notice him, which was too late. o:
