Masamune looks back at her and smiles kindly. "I didn't expect you to be like Sakura or Chaos. They are both far too advanced for their years...they will also both die far in advance...but I digress. To slowly train is a better way to work yourself up, but keep in mind that whenever you finish to be ready. As far as slicing? Brute force is the last thing you want. Of course if you want a piece of trash weapons that most assassains and samurais use. If you want to have perfect weapons you must use finesse." Again he smiled softly at her before continuing his work on the weapon in his hands.

Yumi nodded, her frustration was now gone and had been replaced by strong determination.

"I will try my best." For the last time she kicked the steel.

"Finesse you say... do you mean something like finding small cracks and somehow use those to slice it up? I've heard about something like that... but then again that could just have been some technique you use to split stones with..." Yumi started struggling with lifting the piece once again. As soon as she had managed to lift it to an upright position she let it fall to the ground again, then she started all over again.

Masamune smiles and shakes his head. "You don't have to cut it into small little pieces if you don't want to. But if you'd like you can do that. At the moment you want to train with it, and be able to lift it. Then you'll want to eventually cut it and smelt it many many many times. You will be smelting this metal till you yourself have begun to smelt. You will understand when that point comes. though.

"For the moment, concentrate on working with that piece." Masamune finished his work and lifted up the piece of metal. He had just finished the wave on it. The blade was well over 7 shaku long, and had a long tang for a long handle. He smiled obviously pleased. He shifted it, and despite the darker room they were in, it shined brightly from the fire and whatever other light it could get. He then put it on a table and turned back to watch Yumi. "You have about...3 hours till the day is done Yumi-dono...then you'll go rest and we'll work again tommorow.

Kashi slowly opened his eyes and smiled slowly. The others were sound asleep. Not ever Akira was awake enough to sense him. He moved, up and out the window without a sound. He leapt into the quickly dying night. He landed on rooftops and sped along, before stopping to wait for his target. It would be an eventful night...simply without anyone else around....

Without a comment Yum continued working with the stone. Gooooood I'm like dying here... this stone is heavy and my back and hands are aching. What the hell am I doing anyway? 2 more hours... never ever. But even though she was thinking such negative thoughts she continued rolling the steel, back and forth and back and forth, not once complaining. As soon as she got into a good rythm Yumi forced herself to change that rythm. Meanwhile she was working with the piece she started wondering where Sakura was.

Sakura stared down at the shop from the trees, invisible to others' sight. There was a purpose, to create no distraction. He simply smiled though, happy to be doing nothing for once. He stretched slightly, his head leaned back slightly in a sort of dream.

I was waiting for Masamune to say something... didn't even notice the Sakura post sweatdrop sweatdrop ))

After two hours had passed Yumi let the piece of steel drop to the ground. Then she quickly moved up into a tree where she lay down on a branch. I'm ... tired... very tired... It was almost as if Yumi was surprised she was tired. One minute later she had fallen asleep, not in a deep sleep, but the one she usually used to give her body a chance to relax.

Masamune smiled as he watched Yumi go up into a tree to rest. He chuckled and moved over to the piece of steel. He lifted it up with a hand as if nothing more than a stick. He shrugged and leaned it up against a wall. He then went back to his work and finally pounded the last couple of hits onto it. He smiled softly as he stared at it. This was the god blade. The ultimate one he would make. There were plenty of other ones. But this was the one that would be rumored for years and milleniums later. It would be the blade that when cutting would cause so much blood that in that cut a person could bleed to death. Unlike Murasama which sealed the wound keeping a person alive to suffer and die slowly.

Masamune smiled softly at his work. It was over 7 shaku long. The Murasama was 9 shaku long. Masamune smiled and nodded. "You will be name Masamune. After myself, because you will be the vassal for my soul after I am killed soon...so unfortunate...I hope to complete Yumi-dono's training..." He turned and set the ultimate weapon on the wall and waited for Yumi to return.

Sakura moved quickly but disturbed nothing. He crouched on the same branch as Yumi, but it shifted none, and he simply sat there staring at her. He would wait till she woke, or spoke, it was nearly impossible to have detected him by aura or movement. He had definately improved...

Kashi smiled as he moved quickly. His blade cutting through the conspirators. Those against the Meiji government. He grinned and cut, sliced, and destroyed. He breathed slowly and tilted his head a bit. "I win...I win it all. This war will be over in the next half of a year...and no one can stop it...but I will end it after it has been finished..." He let out a shrieking laugh and flitted through the shadows back to the room without disturbing those inside and set himself back down in wait, the sun would be coming soon...then...then it would begin...the end would begin...and he smiled

((*aggravated scream*))

Jade started awake from her deep slumber as she always did. She rested her head down and looked at the girl lying next to her. It took a second for her mind to catch up with her. She sat up slowly so she wouldn't become dizzy. Looking around she could see no sign of her benefactor which at first did not bother her at all. She stretched languidly and stood, going through her mornign stretches. She would go running if she knew where Kashi was but she didn't and the girl wasn't awake yet.

At least, that was what she thought.

"How rude, disturbing me while I'm resting Sakura." A while she just lay there glancing at Sakura with one eye, then finally she opened both eyes. Not saying anything to him she chuckled then jumped down again. As soon as she landed she noticed her arms still were pretty soar after all the lifting. Have to be more careful from now on... I won't improve if my muscles don't get enough rest inbetween. With a few simple exercises Yumi managed to soften up her muscles enough to continue with the steel.

((Hmmm... I wonder how long this should go on... anyway I'm coming back on sunday, see ya then 3nodding ))

Kashi slipped in while Jade was doing her exercises. He smiled and moved to the wall behind her without a sound or his presence giving him away. He looked over at Akira and smiled before looking back at Jade. "Stretching I see?"

Sakura chuckled and faded away back into the woods to watch again.

Masamune watched as Yumi reentered the shop. "You can stop for today if you wish. The sun will be gone from us soon...then we'll move onward and forward tommorow...make sure you always stretch, or else you won't be as flexible and able any longer." He smiled and began to pack up his tools.

She whirled and there was a flash of silver as she threw the dart. She realized it was him right after she threw it and let out a bark of startlement.

((okay!))

Lotus was on open water, rowing steadily.
