He can't have a daemonhammer, force weapon and psycannon, he can only havbe 2 weapons.

Drop the hammer, it's sort of useless if you ask me anyways...

He can have 3...
The psycannon on his wrist (Like termies) And the Force Weapon in that hand, and the daemon hammer in the other.
And you need the hammer, you're wounding Greater Daemons on 2's...

Seriously, though, drop the Daemonhammer. Grand Masters already have a S6 Force Weapon for FREE. I'd rather keep the points from the Daemonhammer to buy more units. Grey Knights are already outnumbered enough as it.

Then show me where the codex says that this is allowed, I'm 100% sure after re-reading my codex in the wargear section about 5 times that models from that codex can either have up to 2 one handed weapons or 1 two handed and 1 one handed, psycannons counts as 2 handed weapons and the other weapons are both single handed ones, your plan just went down.

Only the newer codexes can wield more weapons than this.

Just because models are modelled in certain ways it doesn't mean that that's how they work, I've seen models holding heavy weapons in one hand or on the wrist, are you serious about that you belive that a model can carry more weapons because of the way that GW models them?

GW modelled the grey knights to have wrist-mounted weapons because of the true grit rule and to show the awesome nature about nemesis weapons due to their size, in fluff they wield them in 2 hands, in game terms 1.

Ah, fair enough then, I always thought that they had it on their wrist, and had spare hands.
I was just making up a nasty daemon killing Grandmaster, I'm not really going to use him, unless I can find a Daemonhammer some where. He's striking daemons in initiative order, which is a big bonus when against I5 or lower daemons.
But, I can see why to drop it, its just the prospect of wounding Greater Daemons on 2's which really gets my attention.

I wouldn't get too attached to that notion, it would seem that the new Inquisition codex coming out in the next three or so years will change some things for better or for worse.

So I picked up a bunch of pre-owned Grey Knights from a couple of different sources. What I have for model count is:
8 Termies (one with TH + SS)
24 Grey Knights with NFW + SB
5 Grey Knights with Incinerators

I figure I can but they Assault on Black Reach Dread off of someone for fairly cheap and convert that for my Dread. This is the first list I've come up with based on what I'd bought, and what I'd going to add next.

GK Grand Master
Nemesis Force Weapon, Stormbolter, Termie Armor
-Retinue - 7 Termies
6 NFW + Stormbolter, 1 Thunderhammer + Storm Shield

6 Power Armored GK's
Justicar, Incinerator

6 Power Armored GK's
Justicar, Incinerator

6 Power Armored GK's
Justicar, Incinerator

6 Power Armored GK's
Justicar, Incinerator

5 Power Armored GK's
Justicar, Incinerator

GK Dreadnought
TL Autocannon, DCCW, Stormbolter
Smoke Launchers, Extra Armor, Blessed

Total: 1500 points exactly.

What do you think? I realize that there's only two ways to deal with AV14 in the entire list and both are assault based. Should I split the Termies so I have the Grandmaster + small Retinue and a second set of Termies? What suggestions to you have for adding to the list?

Split the Terminators, that's all I can really say. Maybe have two of those Grey Knight squads as fast attack choices, a bit risky but having those deepstrike somewhere can be better than having them run about.

I'd split them depending on who and what I'm facing.

Also remember that you "anti-tank" is only really needed against AV12+. If you have some of those Grey Knights set up as FA choices, then you can close ground and get on those tanks with S6 attacks.

Okay, so I got some responses on other forums to my list: And following that advice, I'm splitting the Termies, combining the PA squads, ditching all the Incinerators, and adding more Dreads. How's this then:

HQ:
GKBC - NFW, Psycannon
Retinue - 3 Termies

Elite:
4 GKT - BC, Daemonhammer + SS

Troops:
8 PAGK - Justicar - Targeter, Frags, Purity Seals
8 PAGK - Justicar - Targeter, Frags, Purity Seals
8 PAGK - Justicar - Targeter, Frags, Purity Seals

Heavy:
GK Dreadnought - TL Autocannon, Missile Launcher
GK Dreadnought - TL Autocannon, Missile Launcher
GK Dreadnought - TL Autocannon, Missile Launcher

1489 points total

I know, I know; Why Autocannons? I've got a love affair with the Autocannon, and frankly, I think it's awesome that I have the option to have one on the Dread. In fact, if I could take a double AC Dread like the new Space Marine Dex allows for, all my Dreads would be configured that way. The Lascannon is nice, but I prefer the Autocannon for light transport busting, and I figure if I have to, I'll assault with the hammer.

Looks like a solid list. For Grey Knights, you've got a decent ability to hold the line. That Justicar Targeter is going to make an awesome rules lawer for you to pelt stuff on the border of your range. The Dreads...I love GK dreads. They overcome the biggest falling in normal Dreadnoughts, which is dying like a punk to long range anti-tank. The Shrouding will protect them enough to keep at max range and let it fly with their Autocannons and Missiles.

Only question, and it bugs me that I don't know this. What's the BC on the Terminators?
