Watching Toad exit the pool Valerie moved back over to the edge and put her hand into the ground cavity, large plumes of the sucked up pool water shot out of her fingertips at an alarming speed filling up the pool in notime, A few moments later the last droplets of water fell from the blondes tanned hand and Valerie looked better for it.

"Now please dont try showing off again, I dont intend on wasting my energy for along while yet!"

The blonde said to Toad, afterwards she lay on the ground and looked to the sky, Mizu had jumped into the pool and had once again merged with it, he was rather impressed with his mistresses powers and felt she was on the road to becoming a powerful mutant

"And thats a little less information than I needed to know!"

Valerie giggled waving a hand in the air.

OOC: In an attempt to get Mori inside the mansion, don't mind if skip ahead slightly and make a small detour.

Seeing as Morgan finally choose to lead the way, Victoria - along with Kevin, Pizza-boy and Raze - followed him out of the familiar corridor and down to the garage. Within moments, the group of party-going teens were in the mansion's grand Entrance Hall. Victoria found herself gazing upward and leaning over slightly as she stared at the high, cavernous ceileings. Her brief moment of vertigo was interrupted as the sound of hard yet muffled knocking reverberated above her. Blinking madly, she realized that it must mean someone was at the door and wanted to come it.

"So, do I have to get that?"

The femme asked, making a slight face of annoyance. The could honestly be no harm in opening the door, but...depending on how chattery the person (or thing, for that matter) was, it could cut seriously into their party time.

Come on now, just open the freaking door already...

Victoria's face of annoyance only increased as a voice from behind the door (it was female) begged to be let in. She looked away for a moment, wanting to just walk away like she had never heard that fateful knock, but sadly, what little 'good Samaritan' spirit was left in her gave in. She had been at the X-Mansion for less then 24 hours and already she was getting brainwashed into being kind to her fellow mutants.

"I'm coming," said Victoria, moodily shuffling over to the door and opening it. Before her stood a tall, dark haired girl who looked to be about the same age as herself. The girl fidgeted slightly. Nerves, she guessed, which was only understandable considering the circumstances she was probably here for. Victoria knew this personally, her entrance here not being exactly 'pleasant' or wanted for that matter.

"Can I help you?" Said the shorter teen, leaning coolly against the door frame and peering up to the new girl.



"I'm surrounded by ******** idiots."

Lance was only confirmed in this as Toad, who had finished with his 'I'm drowning' song and dance number thanks to Valerie and now filled his role as Bayville's court jester when he exited the pool. The jump was powerful and clean, as Toad's always was, but the sound of fabric ripping as he landed was unnerving. Gross even, as the Frog-boy just had to announce it to the world.



Over the next few hours, the good Doctor Beast preformed various tests in an attempt to solve Kidd's rather troublesome problem. Simple tests first, such as vision and reflexes only to have them followed by more unconventional ones. Vital signs were checked, of course, and Kidd had a clean bill of health. Ignoring the fact that her powers were going hay-wall, that is. It was as if some unknown event triggered this change.

Change?

Perhaps, all this wasn't a change at all. Maybe, whole thing was simply a release of what that there all along. Like a dam or blockade being suddenly removed, Kidd's potential of power was exploding unexpectedly in front of them. If his thesis was correct, all that that was needed was to replace the blockades until she could handle her true powers.

"I'VE GOT IT!!"

The blue Doctor stood up, beaming as he made his conclusion. Realizing hat everyone was probably looking at him like he had lost his mind, Dr. McCoy coughed once person speaking in the calm, measured tone he was used to.

"Pardon me Miss. Wendon," said Beast putting down his clip board, "but I believe I know how to help you know."

He smiled once again before heading toward the door. Assuming he was right in his diagnosis and in the solution, he would need the professors help on this one.

"Um, ok..." said Victoria, not exactly sure how to respond to the new girl's statement. The unnamed girl simply said that she 'had an appointment' with the Professor. Though Victoria hadn't met him directly yet, she knew for a fact that he was founder the X-Men as well as the Institute it's self. The best guess she could make as to his whereabouts was that he might be in an office or study somewhere, but as for an exact location, she couldn't be more clueless.

Suddenly remembering that girl was still standing outside surrounded by a collection of luggage, Victoria found herself in a kind enough mood to help her bring it in. That, and the fact that the quicker she got this girl on her way, the quicker she and her new guy friends could be in the club-scene.

"Hey," she said, looking at the four males lingering in the entrance hall as she grabbed the nearest of the new girl's suitcase, "do any of you guys know where the Professor it? This girl says she has an appointment."

Victoria jerked her head toward the only other female in the vicinity as she plopped the bags in the middle of the entrance hall with hardly any care what might have been inside them.

After hearing VIctoria's question Kevin relized that he hadn't met the Profesor. He really hadn't met any other adults. He wondered if it was the Profesor here with them? And what was he like? Dr. Nicks said he was nice, but then why didn't she stay longer?

Kevin thought that he had to wait and see. But now he wanted to go out. He felt bad for the new girl not knowing anyone. Eventhough she didn't shw it, she was probably nervous. Eventhough Kevin just came today, he wasn't nervous anymore.He was already hanging out with people he considered his friends

Kevin then said "I don't know where the Profesoer is, but he's probably in his office like you said."

Carlos Just lay down on the front lawn only distracted as a cab pulled up and a girl with luggage came out to go to the front door. Alittle too much attitude coming off her as she passed him up without noticing making him slightly glad. He was already slightly cranky he didn't need that to fuel the candle fire. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep breathing slowly and just relaxing. It didn't work. He sat up then looked back up at the sky hoping the sun would finaly set and the sky get completely dark. He laid back down then sighed as he looked up at the sky eyes slightly wincing do to the sensitivity.

"The dorms, are just up these steps and to the left. The boys dorms are the other side and trust me, you don't wanna go over there." Victoria winked at the girl before continuing with her brief set of instructions.

"After that, just pick a room to dump your stuff and you're all set. And as for Mr. Xavier's office, I'm sorry, but I think you're on your own with that one. Oh, and I'm Victoria, in case you were wondering."

Pleased that she had upped her good Karma points by helping this girl out with finding the dorms, Victoria simply smiled half-way and looked around. Though she seemed nice, this new girl had slowed down their departure by about three minutes, but that was alright. They still had plenty of time to get their party on.


"That's it, you're a dead man!"

Damion had finally taken it one step too far. All day Lance had put up with his 'brilliant' little cheap shots, mostly ignoring them in the hopes that he would just go away. Or spontaneously combust. Unfortunantly, (for Damion at least) the flames kept coming which meant that Lance got to take set the boy straight. He had said the wrong thing to the wrong person and now he was going to pay for it.

Before anyone could say or do otherwise, the ground was quaking beneath the pale teen's feet. Soft, almost lazily at first, but then, Lance put the juice on. Right hand outstretched, the elder teen gritted his teeth and concentrated hard on the earth beneath Damion. It quivered even harder before shooting five feet in the air and tilting at a 43 degree angle beneath him. Lance smirked, if that didn't teach the boy to lay off the wise-a** comments, then...well...he hoped everyone was ready to attend a funeral.
