If it where not for her worry she might of flustered over the fact he kept chanting her name like he was just now learning it. It hurt her to see him so much in obvious pain. Even though he tried to hide it. She nearly chuckled when he collapsed and bounced right back. Stubborn as hell. Again..if she had not been so worried.

She scolded softly as her hand reached out to touch his chest, something she would not do so bravely any other time. There was no push. No shove. More like a soft press of her fingertips to urge him to sit. "No I will not let you heal me Taizen. It nearly took all you had to heal Taikai. And..I do not want you to collaspe from over exhausting yourself. You are doing more then enough of that as is. Now sit down and off of that leg! If you don't.. I will go check on Kurai and Fulgar while Nayll takes care of your wounds." Hahhahaah a threat! Though she did not exactly know what happened between Fulgar and Taizen, she still kind of feared going near Kurai and Fulgar. But...she still needed to make sure they where okay. That they where being treated. She didn't know..nor realize that Taizen wanted her away from them..away from danger. She didn't realize that Cain had been 'unleashed'. About everything that had gone on between Cain and Taizen. She just figured that Fulgar had been..as brutal as Kurai had been. After all..he was Kurai's teacher.

"Ah..ahem..M-Miss Niima.."

She turned away from Taizen quickly when hearing Nayll, her cheeks nearly going crimson red. She smiled sheepishly and scurried over to Nayll, taking the tray of items she had requested. She was very careful not to spill the two bowls of water though she had to literally balance the tray on one hand. And apparently..forgot about hiding her back from Taizen as well. But her long, titan hair helped conceal part of the marred flesh.

"Thank you, Nayll. I'll take it over from here. You go rest.."

Nayll seemed to reluctantly release the tray to her one hand. But hey..she was good at balancing so the tray was no problem! He would nod and retreat, closing the door behind him. Her head tilted and she sighed faintly. Eventually she turned and moved towards the table and chair in the room. Using her hip she began to move the chair across the floor, trying to be as quiet as possible. Once the chair was near Taizen's bed she would settle the tray down on the seat. Digging through the stuff she would find the small container of salve. Dipping her first finger into it she drew the ointment across the cut on her eyelid, closing the flesh with the ointment so the bleeding would stop. Once done she would carefully wipe the blood away from her eye so she could use both to see what she was doing. She sighed a bit, knowing well by now Taizen had seen some part of her back and had a hint of how bad it was. She also knew he would more then likely flip out if he knew about her broken arm. What to do...

Eventually she would look over to Taizen and smile almost..pleadingly. "Come on..lets get you tended to so you can rest.." She knew..very well..he was still going to give her a hard time about it. And truthfully she wasn't sure how much longer she could say 'no'. She wanted to be strong and help him..but at the same time he wanted to help her..someone was going to eventually have to give in. But she was determind to tend his wounds. To see his pain eased..

Kurai stood up infront of the fountain gripping the clay cup tightly sniffling staring into the water. "Niima...fulgar...taizen.." she paused her grip getting tighter on the clay cup. "If...I wouldn't have done what ever I did.." Her eyes glared at the relection of her face in the water. A hatred began to boil, "I was a fool..." Suddenly a flutter and a large bird landed on her arm. It was huge we'll in kurai's eyes, its wings spread casting a large shadow on her and made a screeching cry. Kurai fell back making a large scream, one thing she feared was birds, these rat's with wings. The cup fell shattering into a million pieces. Flapping its wings as it perched above her cocking its head staring at her before making that glass breaking screech. Freezing in fear her eyes widening like dinner plates, "G-get...!GET AWAY!!!" The bird was so large it could probably gauge her eyes out. Yet...underneath all the fear it seemed conforting like she knew it from a place before. She stood up taking a deep breath, "c-come here....birdy-y..." she gulped stretching her hand out. The bird stared at her hand, 'please don't bite me...!' She shut her eyes tightly. A flap was heard and her hand became heavier. Opening one eye she gasped seeing the bird on her hand. "h-hey...its not that bad...!" she gave a nervous laugh.

(Have you been reading my thoughts? I've been planning on a Raven and a Wolf as familiars, I dropped the Raven though. xd )

Heh heh, he should have expected that, if they had been in any position to laugh they would have. She'd threatened him, she placed her fingers on his chest, and either from his weakness or from the amount of force inside Niima that made that small motion so powerful! He sat down, and made a small 'huff' sound as though it were an attempt at laughter. If the sound had been any louder than a breath, the hollowness, and frustration would have been enough to write it out in big bold letters. Niima received the tray from Nayll, and allowed Taizen a better look at her injured back. He let out a breath, it was more of a gasp than a sigh, but somehow it was neither.

Niima was obviously stronger than he, he lowered his gaze so he shouldn't have to view the physical incarnation of her pain. He'd also been a fool, he really needed to come back down to earth, it seemed to him now that Niima had a self-preservation device that he had overlooked, he had beleived he was her self-preservation device... Really, he had no wound she could help with, before he had determined that his healing was only super-ficial, perhaps he'd done a worse job than he thought, the burns he'd healed were non-existant, but he still felt they're pain. The cut he'd earned from Fulgar was a bright red, but now it was just a bright red peice of skin, it didn't hurt like most burns, actually, it felt more like his arm had been cut in half, like a stick that was snapped, but still attached. Waterbending had taken this stick, placed it in the correct places, and taped it up. Tape, was not a substitute for flesh, and bone, even if it looked like it was indeed, full flesh and bone.

Now Taizen began to think of how he would heal her. If she stuck his arms in a splint so that his bones set correctly, he would only be able to waterbend with his left arm. Could he heal her with one arm? Could he make an allusion to healing her? Maybe if he drew on her energy rather than his own he could heal her- but if he did heal her, then he would only cover the flesh wound, would she still feel the pain? "Niima... It's just my arm..." He lied. "Just this arm... You don't need to..."

In truth she was pushing herself but despite her pain and exhaustion she was determind to help him. He said he would protect her and alothough she knew he pretyt much didn't mean it, she still wanted to alteast be able to help him. She had plenty of pain in her past and she would do like she had always done...burn herself into collasping. Specially when it came to him. She cared for him which in a way..worried her. Everyone she ever cared for died because of her. What if the same fate happened on Taizen and Taikai? Maybe that was what pushed her to be so stubborn at this moment. A worry of losing him. And it was a strong force of will.

"And your leg.." She pointed out as he tried to lie about his arm being the only wound. Her eyes softened as she looked at him. Somewhat from being tired and the other part being..she didn't want to fight him at this moment. A small smile crept to her lips. "Alright. How about this. I will let you heal me..alteast as much as you can. But you cannot pass out. And when you hit that brink you will stop and let me tend to your wounds..okay?" It sounded fair right?

For a split moment her mind wandered. What did he look like with his hair down? Without even realizing she reached forward and tucked a few of his bangs behind his ear, trying to get a better view of his face. He definately didn't look as if he had been tossed in the ground as much as her. She probably looked much like a street rat at this point..When it did hit her what she was doing her hand retreated, fingers curling into her palm. She looked over toward Taikai, making sure she hadn't been 'caught'. Knowing the old man he would cheerfully point it out. She would look back down to Taizen after a few moments, awaiting his answer.

"well mister bird" She said walking to the balcony. "I need to get my teacher a glass of cool water!..since well y'know.." She pased the broken cup as saddness filled her eyes. "Well...nice meeting you..!" The bird stared at her before she bounced her hand and extended it to the sky. The bird flapped of before disappering into the clouds. "...there was something very familar about that bird.." She gave a short laugh and smiled. She cleaned up the broken glass before getting a new cup filled with water. Kurai walked back entering the room and pulling up a chair. "Luckly for you there was some cold water.." She gave a weak smile and tipped the cup slightly against his lips. "drink up, you need water to help your body circulate properly and from dehydrating.." She paused being shock at what she said. Kurai didn't even know what she said she shook her head and grinned. "well, uhm, DRINK UP!!!heehee!".

Kurai entered the room and tipped a glass to his lips. He choked on it for a moment before swallowing. He took his eyes off the boy for a moments time to look at Kurai, "you need rest too, Kurai, please dont exert yourself on my account we have nurses here to tend to me. And you." He grabbed the cup from her hands a shiver going through him at her brief touch. Pathetic, he was.

Musei blinked. "H-how do you know my name?" He was genuinely shocked. He most often gave his fake name 'Rym' to people, and yet this person he had never met knew his name. It was...astonishing to say the least. "But that doesn't matter now." Musei couldn't help but blink and be a little awry at this new information. "So...let me understand this: the person who attacked me was technically your body but not you? Someone named Cain? How do I know you're not Cain now?"

Musei couldn't help but continue his questions, no matter the fact the man was in obvious pain. Childish giddyness, perhaps. "On top of that, why would killing me solve anything? And who are you? Are you a bender? What kind of bender?"

Then, Musei remembered to keep his tongue. He silenced all further questions in a seemingly suspicious matter, standing stiffly with his arms now receded behind his back. Remember respect, doofus. You don't want to rub someone the wrong way, now do you? Especially someone who's alter ego just tried to snap your neck with one hand.

Fulgar let out a small laugh his face squeezing shut from the pain in his sides, "you said your name just before I lost consciousness." He explained smiling kindly, his smile failed before he began to explain further "you can tell I am not Cain now by a few subtle differences," pulling down his lower eye lid he continued, "my eyes would have changed from brown to a rather striking, and rather frightening lightning blue, and I would more than likely have a smile on my face that reflects my madness." Fulgar's smile returned a warm radiance came from his obviously pained features. "Killing you would have solved nothing! Nothing at all! Cain cares about no one but himself, and trying to satisfy his unquenchable thirst for carnal experience, killing you would only excite and provoke him there is no cause to what he does."

Lifting an arm slowly he turned it into a fist and a flame erupted above it flickering then dieing "I am a firebender, as is the beautiful Kurai, here." He tried to flick his head to point to her but it hurt to much so he simply turned his eyes and hoped the boy would understand. "My name is Fulgar Acheron I'm 21 years of age and I am, if I may say so, a rather powerful bender"

Fulgar noticed the boy stand up straighter and put his hands behind his back "you need not do that, questions are good, ask away! Cain Ira will snap your neck, not me."

Lee traveled all the way to the base of the mountain of which the northern air temple sat a top of. Lee widened his stance and focused on the earth bellow him. He erected his hands in front of him and concentrated hard. Finally the ground around him began to crack and slowly move. Lee then slid his right leg back so that he was now standing sideways to the mountain. And he slowly moved his arms in a circular motion through the air. The earth he stood on finally gave and separated from the rest of the ground. As Lee continued the motion with his hands and arms the earth slid up the mountain like it was an elevator. After around 30 minutes he finally made it to the temples edge. He held it long enough to get off and then let it crumble to pieces. He was finally at the northern air temple.

After Lee had rested and began to walk around the temple. He was fascinated by the architecture and all the life around the temple. It took so long to get to the temple that Lee hadn't spared with another bender for a while. So he thought that maybe one of the monks here would train with him. "Hello. Is anyone here?" Lee yelled.

Taizen nodded his head expectantly. "Yes... My legs..." He had expected a battle of wills, and against Niima Taizen had a small chance of winning. A small chance of winning since he had promised to protect her, and effectively failed. But, what he heard next surprise him: A compromise. Taizen could have kissed Niima for her intelligence, intelligence that always seemed clearer, purer, and more empathic.

"Of course..." Taizen said slowly, beginning to smile, he looked up to see Niima's sweet intelligent face. Imagine his surprise when Niima brought her hand up and brushed his hair aside. The confidence in her action was broken and revealed in the swiftness as she retracted her hand as though she’d been caught in an act worthy of death. Looking in Taikai’s direction. The man did seem to be sleeping, but sleeping so that he seemed so content…

“I’ll stop… Before I pass that point.” He promised. The table was an arm’s length away, the idea of bending something a few moments ago had seemed as likely as the earth imploding. Now, after Niima brushed his hair away, he had somehow grown a well of energy in himself. The well of energy boosted his confidence. He reached out to the bowl, and with barely a twitch of his un-harmed fingers: bended the water into a glove.

Now Taizen has spent a good deal of time healing himself, and very little healing others. From his experiences in healing, either each healing was different, or the acceptance of the healing energies into the body affected the healing process. As Taikai had mentioned, inner wounds could be healed by calling upon both the healers energies, and the patients own healing energies. He’d healed the boy from the tournament’s inside wounds with a bit of trouble, but not as much as he would have thought. Probably because the boy had lost consiousness, and was as such nothing more than a plant.

Then there was his own self, which he easily and freely healed himself. He assumed the reason he felt his healing as of late was hollow, and weak, was because he was straining his own healing energies; rather than calling on more than one. Then there was Fulgar, for some reasons outside of Taizen’s understanding, Fulgar had resisted his healing. As though his body did not want to be healed. This led Taizen to release more of his own energies, rather than Fulgar’s bodies. In return, Taizen emptied himself, and in simple diffusion, because he was empty, Fulgar had placed things in Taizen, specifically pain of the healing.

Finally, There was Taikai, he had given him insight, specifically Targeting Taikai’s healingenergies and his own, he had healed him with relative ease. The only problem being that he seemed to be running quite on empty at the time of healing. Finally, he was about to heal Niima, it was wrong to think of it as such- and at the moment, Taizen was not thinking of it as such- but it seemed that Taizen was the final experiment. Niima could give him pain as a result of the healing, a sign that she did not wish to be healed. And allow the healing to go accordingly, like Taikai’s. Running at zero, and drawing morely on her healing energies than equally like the firebender in the tournaments.

Now, the well of energy Taizen felt, when Niima brushed his hair away, had felt hot and intoxicating. Like a very good wine that worked immediately. Because of this warm energy, that felt reminiscent to the ‘warm feeling’ he had felt before several times with Niima. Now, rather than draw from his logic, Taizen felt drunk with the power of the energy. And reached out a glove-covered hand to Niima. Carefullly grasping her wounded hand as though it were the most delicate thing on earth-which to Taizen indeed was at the moment- Began to channel the warm energy… The warm energy and the feeling of warmth, from his own body, through the water, and into Niima.

Rather than use Niima’s energy and his own to heal her, he would use, entirely his own. The water bonding the two together shined brightly for several moments, longer than any other time he’d healed before. Taizen’s eyes were glazing over, he couldn’t comprehend anything anymore, all he knew was that the feeling he had, was disappearing, and that the cool water holding his hand had evaporated. He began panting, not sure why he was panting, what had happened? What had he just done? Why couldn’t he remember anything from two minutes ago….?! And Niima, how was she? What-

She really didn't want to let Taizen heal her, knowing fully well that he was already exhausted from his fight..and his past healings. Her smile wavered as he promised. She was obviously still worried...

Like a good lil patient she stood waiting for his attempt, her mismatched eyes watching every movement he made. It still amazed her that he could heal. She watched the water form around his hand, craddling close to his flesh like a glove. Almost jealous of his show of bending. Why couldn't air be so easy to show off?

Silently she begged him not to push himself as he took up her hand. Such gentleness she was not expecting but even so she flinched somewhat as he moved her broken arm. A crimson shade crept to her pale cheeks as she watched in a sense of awe as the water shined so brilliant..none like she had ever seen. She did not feel her wounds mend, mostly because..well..she was focused on the warming sensation. It was..comforting. Like the arms of someone hugging you close. Protective...

And though her wounds would act on accord, healing as Taizen willed, her attention went square focus on Taizen, expecially when her eyes rose to his face to aknowledge her awe of his artful bending. To see his eyes..glazed over like he was in lala land..Is he daydreaming while healing me?! That can't be good..It was a worry that his healing could backlash and make things worst. And it was when he started panting that she tugged lightly to retrieve her hand from his grasp, awe replaced with pure concern. "T-Taizen stop." Her eyes began to water in guilt. She had hurt him with allowing him to do this! She felt a lump in her throat as she quickly sat down on the bed next to him and grasped his hands, hoping to bring him into a better focus of being. "I'm sorry Taizen..Please..Please ..rest now..?" She was cursing away at herself for allowing him to exhaust himself so. To the point..he was barely able to draw breath. Could he kill himself healing? Oh gods! Did she almost kill him?! Wanna see Niima have panic attack..well she surely was having one now.
