[Event] The Shadow Garden Maze~

Letha stared at the cube, it was pretty and she really didn't want to break it but was starting to get worried about Lyric who had been told to stay inside the cafe when all this started. Taking a deep breath she hit the cube with her tail as hard as she could.

The magic inside the cube bursts forth into a large glowing cloud that pulsates vibrantly for a few moments… then suddenly it all sucks back in on its self to form a single point of light, taking the scenery of the maze around you with it until you are left in complete darkness… Slowly around you, four other spots of light begin to form. One red, one blue, one yellow-green, and one brown. They sit there, pulsing slowly… nothing happening otherwise.. You must have to choose one…


Once you touch the element of your chosing, the labyrinth falls apart and becomes the garden of the Cauldron once more. Everything except for the special gems and abominations, turns back into regular everyday objects. Huge rooms flooded with water turn back into the garden's pond, trees into sticks, stalagmites into pebbles,... The magic is broken and all patrons are back to safety, Sen and Pai included.

"That was an amazing job." Sen walked up to you, looking a bit chaotic, cloths, feathers and hair all over the place. Pai doesn't look any better either, as if a horde of birds had tried to pick on him.

"Yes, yes, nicely done. As reward for your deeds, you may keep what you found in the labyrinth." He murmurs dismissively before going back to making sure the garden is absolutely spotless once more.

All that is left for you to do is sit down and take a break, still holding the elemental ash of your chosing in hand.


The Event is officially over!!!

You may keep all the special gems and abominations you found on the way. One abomination wasn't found as well as one special gem. We will hold a raffle for them soon!

Epilogue

Once the maze had been resolved, Pai and Sen had searched the shop, cafe, and especially the basement where all the cauldrons were... Then they gathered everyone that had been present for the incident and went over what little they knew...

"They were after the cauldrons.. or ingredients." Pai explained, having been patched up somewhat by now and of course dressed in perfect clothing again. Though the bandages looked more out of place then if anything.
"Luckily our enchantments held.." Sen nodded, not liking speaking much around others, but this had been a big deal so hadn't gone back into hiding just yet.
Pai nodded back though still didn't look too happy. "Honestly we have no idea who it was. There aren't that many out there that even -know- about what we do in the first place." He had to glance around at those present.. wondering if any of them had gone blabbing about what The Cauldron really did for the most part.. "Either way, everything seems back to normal.. and other than them trashing the cafe and shops, the important things are intact. We'll have to close the cafe for a few days while we get it back together, but over all.. It was more of an annoyance than anything."
Whoever it had been had been quite skilled at illusion magic perhaps.. or whatever type it had been to create such a maze right in their back yard. But they haven't been skilled in many other fields it seemed. There had been some marks of struggle on the basement door, but that was about it.

After the debriefing, he told everyone to either go home, or help with picking up the cafe... then went one more time to inspect the gardens. He still had a strange feeling about it.

After a few hours, Sen having to take awkward control of the cleanups, Pai returned looking more than weary.
"There's a section of the garden.. way at the back.. That a strange magic still hangs around. its different from the stuff whoever made the maze used.. but it has to be because of it." He said to sen, not speaking too quietly so anyone nearby could hear if they chose to.
"Also..." He glanced to the back door that was still open some.. a pair of sharp purple eyes peering in from the shadows that had descended with the night. "Strange things are growing in there." Going back over, he reached out a hand to whatever was looking in. A tiny hand reached back..... Though it wasn't human. It was black as soot, seeming to shift ever so slightly to meld with the darkness around it then reform..
Pai lead it into the soft light of the cafe which it didn't seem to enjoy too much, clinging to Pai's hand and scowling lightly about.

"There were other things in there too.. smaller versions.. This one seemed the most developed though. I'll.. have to do a few tests to figure out exactly what it is, but for now it will stay with me." He said to Sen whose turn it was to frown, but he nodded in the end. Chances were it had something to do with what they were doing here, which meant the life forms were still their responsibility.

With that, Pai lead it back to his room before returning to help get things back in working order.

A new species of cauldron adopt has been discovered *U*!
Its questionable yet if they can be considered 'cauldron born' but we'll definitely be seeing that happen one way or another!
The figure depcited above is actually its stage 2~ They will begin life as inky little things to which you can add stones and scents which will determine their accent glow, flower type, horn/antler type, ear/tail types and cloak theme.
Item definitions might be a bit more loose, or simply applied in ways that aren't usual for normal cauldron born. Hopefully everyone has fun with it once they are officially released though~
