Lady Aryana of the Seelie

That would be appreciated. She said. The minos looked at her state and sighed. I normally would just use my abilities, but I can only maintain what I've already done while as a Minos. It's sheer luck I figured out how to do that too, Minos have no magical abilities whatsoever, save for those with Royal blood. Sybil noticed something odd tho... Rakia's eyes were now blue. She'd never seen a Minos with blue eyes before, save for the King himself.

She stood and started picking up pieces of her armor, which she tucked away into her bag. As she did so, she guided Sybil back towards the beach... Though she stayed out of sight once they reached the last corner....

Micheal nodded and put his hand to his earpiece. Finita. Estelle's room is full of water... we need to get her out of here before she comes in contact with any of it. We've stopped the rising water levels, but she's seriously spooked...

Once he was done he prodded Ratchet. There's monsters running around the entire lab. Once we get her out of here we need to round everyone up and get them to the Observation room.

Estelle meanwhile had been scratching something into the surface of the wardrobe with her nails. She looked up at Ratchet.

Ah made ah pair o' boots fer mahself. They should be near th' bed. She said, before going back to her scratching at the wardrobe top... She had a hard look of concentration on her face, as if she had gotten tired of waiting for the Minotauress to come rescue her...

~~~
Finita shook her head. Not usually. She crouched and studied the body of the creature. By the hells, we don't even have the equipment to make these kinds of creatures. Where did they come from... unless...
The Minos woman cursed. The Vault with the artifacts! She said, pulling at her horns. It must have been compromised!
It was then she got the message from Micheal. She held out a hand for Olivia as she started to hurry out of the room back into the Labyrinth. I'll be there. Then we need to take care of the shark in Cecelia's room. Once we have everyone in one place in the Observation room, we need to get to the vault... I believe it's where all these things are coming from.
~~~

Micheal's eyes widened.

Ratchet... The vault has been compromised.

Olivia looked at her with curiosity and confusion. "Uhh what is this Vault?" she asked flying up and grabbing onto her horn again safely before the two made their return trip from Finita's room. Looking back the fallen beast began to melt into a thick black ooze before evaporating completely!

That got her spooked, she didn't really sign up for this. The rituals and becoming a fairy yes, but not being attacked by scary monsters. She hoped everyone would be save and alive by the end of the day.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ratchet nodded to the Dwarf, taking a deep breath and heading underwater to find her boots. Sure enough he found them right where she said they would be. Surfacing he tipped them over letting the water spill out of them. As he did so he was amazed at how well crafted and beautiful they were.

"Wow! You made these!?" he asked with surprise and awe as he set them next to her, after all the water had been drained from them obviously. He figured she would want them or have them dried out later. "They're beautifully crafted." he had no idea she could make something like this so fast. The rituals must have changed more than their bodies. Maybe recipes and ways of life were filling their minds too?

She appeared to be scribbling on the wardrobe with her nails. "Estelle what are you up to?" he asked stepping a little closer, but not too close he didn't want to scare her now that he was sopping wet. Yet before he could get a response Michael said something that caused him to gasp.

"What!? That's supposed to be top secret! Only Finita has the key to open it!" he replied with shock. There was no mistake now, someone or something was trying to get rid of all the girls, and not to mention Finita's hard work. "We'll deal with the vault once everyone is seen to safety. In the meantime, do we have any hoses that we could try draining the water, maybe into Cecelia's room or something? Fin might have her hands busy if the Vault's been breeched!" he sighed with frustration. "What a morning huh?"

Stardust Drifter

Finita glanced up at the Fairy as they reached the door. She looked at the pendent and sighed.

The Book wasn't the only thing we found in the temple. There was a collection of artifacts, which we can only assume were collected by the Traveler... Rakia... herself. I don't... know who got in... I'm the only one with the blasted key!

She put it on and shrunk back down to size, and she carefully fanagled the now much too large halberd out of the room. Setting it down, she headed immediately for Estelle's room.

~~~
Estelle didn't look up this time. Aye. Mah toosies feel wierd wthout ah gewed pair o' boots. Thing es, tha moment ah finished them et started tae pour liquid death in ere! Ah didn' even git ah cnance tae put em oon!
And indeed, the boots were beautiful. They were made of granite and leather, capped with gold and various finely cut gems. They happened to be high heels, and had nice twisting patterns of gold, rose gold, and white gold twining from the bottom in fiery patterns.
Micheal didn't get a chance to reply to Ratchet's statement, before whatever Estelle had been doing, she finished. The wardrobe immediately started to float, before tipping over. The dwarf jumped and landed on the flat part of the wardrobe as it floated, and the water flowed off of it, leaving the thing bone dry. Small holes opened up in the size, showing tiny cannons.... it looked like it was transforming into a tiny stone battleship.
Tha's moore lyke et! She declared. Fire upoon tha' liquid death!
As the dwarf said this the tiny cannons started to fire randomly around the room, causeing great splashes for such tiny things. Her hair turned into a bunch of bright copper spikes before she dove below deck.
Bahd idea! Bahd idea!
It was then Finita stepped in. She blinked at the strange sight before her... of a wardrobe/battleship firing cannonballs randomly about the room and making great splashes.
She looked to Ratchet as a ball randomly sprayed her with water.
What in the Nine hells is going on here!??
Sybil stayed close to Rakia. She didn't want to get lost. She didn't have a trail of armor to guide her back. Along the way, she looked constantly for something that she could give to her friend to wrap around herself.
They seemed to take a side route to the exit, because there were few buildings around but she did think the saw something that would be useful. It was drapes from a window or a merchants stand. It might be big enough for a toga.
"Rakia. Try wrapping this around you." she said, handing the bundle to the Minos.
Rakia smiled and took the cloth, wrapping it around herself in the toga fasion. It covered her-- just barely-- but it did the job.
It was then they returned to the beach. Rakia gestured to the carts and the imps took their carts and started towards them.
Rakia smiled before gently picking Sybil up and setting the siren on her shoulder (she sat there easily).
The others started to follow the carts pulled by the ghostly imps. The imps moved with a nice pace, every once in a while pausing to patt their drums twice making 'bop bop' sound.
With Rakia as their guide, it wasn't long before they reached the center of the Isle.
A few bodies had remained here, slumped against buildings or other structures. Setting Sybil down, Rakia immediately started collecting firewood and setting up the pyre. The buildings (which were massive; they seemed to touch the clouds above) looked okay from a distance but were swamped with seaweed and still cold sea water inside.
Rakia worked for what felt like hours. Soon she had all of them laid out into the shape of a shield, on an incredible amount of timber and grasses. It would be enough to alight them all. As she did this last act for them out of respect, she was surrounded by billowing clouds of steam as she worked harder and harder.
None noticed her slipping various small things, like a set of rings off the king, or a pendent off another Minos, into her bag...
It was the first time Sybil, or all of the sirens, saw the entire Minos population. There were so few... while her people had a good thousand in their population, these large creatures had maybe 150 to 200... As large as they were, they all fit into the central square neatly.
The moon was out now, when Rakia finally finished. The Minos had finally dried out enough to be burned. She pulled out a torch and lit it, and looked to sirens that had watched the entire time. She nodded, before lowering the torch to the timber and grasses.
Sybil meanwhile felt a hand on hers. It was her mother. The Queen guided her to the front of the crowed, where they stood right behind the transformed Rakia as the fire slowly started to spread.
Let us send them off with a song of peace. She said.
Rakia turned and saluted, before stepping out of the way.
She started to sing, and her voice took on the quality of a great number of voices, like she alone was a chorus. As she sang, others piped up behind her...
((This is the song I hear them singing, but all with vocals. With sirens, they can do that.))
When the phoenix had closed her eyes, the book was calling her. When she opened them again, something else was. She stood up, taking a look at the things she could see around her through the glass. Her form had shifted, and she no longer had her wings, but she still knew who she was.
Magz looked around the room, wondering why there was so much chaos. Her earpiece was abuzz with scientists and other faculty trying to report things to important people or find other people in certain rooms. There was a lot at once, too, so she eventually just turned it off after a couple minutes.
The worst thing was, something was still calling her, but this time, she couldn't pinpoint its source. It was all putting her on edge and she was getting antsy having to wait here.
(Lovely choice! ^_^)
Sybil cried involuntarily when Rakia lifted onto her shoulders. It had startled her, but she quickly grabbed one of her horns and steadied herself. She then smiled. It wasn't the first time she had been picked up. It brought back a nice memory, though she was never brought into the city.
They were all awed by the city they now found themselves in. It was as magnificent as their own but in a way completely different than what was familiar. Sybil felt extremely small here. In the center of the giant's city they waited in respectful silence as the pyre was set for their greatest friends.
The young siren was grateful when her mother took her hand. She needed her more than ever and she wanted to comfort the queen as well. This loss they all shared as a whole. She squeezed her mothers hand.
As the fire spread her mother began their song. Sybil closed her eyes opened her mouth, raising her voice with the others as the fire spread across the bodies in the square. Soon the entire place was filled with the song of the sirens, wishing their long time friends goodbye.
Sybil felt like they sang for a long time. By the time the song came to a close, she felt in part a little less grief and a measure of peace.
"Farewell." she whispered to herself, too low for anyone to hear but herself.
Phantoms Request
As she looked about, and she got antsier, she saw something crash through the window from another hallway into the ritual room which currently looked like a tropical sea paradise. They were two large feathered creatures, but they were hideous. They appeared to be humanoid with wings for arms and claws at the joined and taloned feet. But they were old and wrinkled like hags. They happened to be fighting over some shiny piece of lab equipment. They were Harpies!
They both landed in the water and continued to thrash about, breaking coral with their talons and stirring up the sands at the bottom.
Upon seeing them, this sent Nuria/Magz into a rage. How dare such foul creatures desecrate such a sacred place!?
There was no real weapons nearby, but she did see a grill lighter on the table....
Lady Aryana of the Seelie
As she sung her final notes, and said her final farewell, the world around her slowly faded to black.
~~~

She awoke, within the comforting walls of her little sea flat. She held her harp on her arms, as if she had been hugging it like a teddy.

She heard the swishing and splashing of something thrashing about in the waters above... As well as the sound of familiar laughter through the water...

((I wasn't able to get on at all yesterday. I'm trying to catch up. Sorry for the wait))

Helena was glad to see she got Rakia's, no, Silvia's attention. She slipped off her sunglasses and tossed them onto the sand, nodding at her friend's request. "I'll be careful, don't worry" Helena promised. As soon as Silvia was out of sight underwater, she watched the shark, and only the shark intently, trying to feel out her powers.

They'd been easy enough to activate in her vision, fueled by will and strong emotion. She focused on her sight - the moment the shark leapt out of the water and began harassing the boat, Helena let herself get angry. Angry at nearly dying, angry at her own confusion, and really angry that someone was trying to kill people.

She hissed and spat, rising up in fierce ire as her eyes flared with light and her serpents spread out around her. There was a chinking sound as her stare hit the piscean predator even while it mangled the boat. A stony sheen spread across its leathery wet skin, growing larger and darker as it seeped everywhere. The shark was already slowing its movements, becoming heavier and it seemed unable to unhinge its jaw from the boat. "That should do it"

Trembling slightly, the gorgon exhaled a breath and cast around for her shades, picking them up off the sand and blowing any stray grains off them before hastily slipping them back over her eyes. There was faint glow from behind the tinted lenses but as she calmed herself with even breathing, it soon dimmed and faded altogether. "Hope that helpss-ss" she muttered, stroking her serpents, who still acted agitated. She searched the water anxiously, looking for her friend.

***

Corel shook more noticeably as strange and horrible sounds echoed around the building and the thing that startled her most - a big iron wall sealed off the main entrance! It sounded like a zoo had escaped in the labs, except they weren't any animals she could identify. Her already fair skin had blanched as she listened to Alex and stammered out a reply.

"C-constru-construction workers?!" She meeped uncertainly, disliking the sounds of that. Machines that malfunctioned and caused that much trouble were scary as well!

She stayed holding onto his arm, though she shook her head at his question, "I..if it's okay, can I just stay with you? I don't feel comf-comfortable wandering around on my own here" Anymore. Definitely not anymore! She wasn't that happy in the first place and now the whole thing was starting to seem like a mistake.

"I, I think I want to go back. I mean, b-but the d-door sealed and...it sealed up and!" she blinked suddenly, feeling tears of panic start to well at the corners of her eyes. She was starting to feel a little of her claustrophobia playing up. Corel sniffed and took a breath, feeling a little sick from the sudden rush of nerves and the tightness in her chest. She couldn't breathe well from the rising fear.

She didn't want to be holding onto Alex like that, it was improper. But she was too afraid to let go. Embarrassed but not wanting him to think she was a child, she opened and closed her mouth a few times before blurting, "Ah...Ah...yeah...if there's somewhere quiet and safe, can we go there please? Please? I don't like all this!" She wanted to run away and forget this whole thing. But she signed the contract. Maybe there was a way she could take it back, apologise and tell them she wasn't going through with it. Corel tried to remember to breathe, hyperventilating a little. The hand that clutched her bag was holding onto it for dear life. Her cell phone was in there. She could always use it if she was in danger. I don't want to be a volunteer. I change my mind. I don't want to do this anymore. It's scary! I'm sorry mum, I can't. I can't do it!

The urge to move was almost all-consuming now. And that, coupled with the desecration of the sacred room in front of her, forced her hand. She grabbed the lighter, half of her wanting to chuck it as far away from her as she could, the rest determined to see those things pay for such blasphemy. She leaped through the now shattered glass and aimed for the large boulder in the center, which the harpies seemed to be slowly working towards. By the time she landed, they would probably be throwing each other onto it, from her closest guess. That is, if they didn't suddenly change direction or shift their focus onto something else.

Sybil opened her eyes, staring blankly at the wall for some time. Her mind was so fogged in was hard to think. She have been at the funeral and now she was....
Cecelia gasped and jerked out of her sleeping position. What a vivid dream. She had never had a dream feel so absolutely real. She wanted to cry for the poor Minos. But she couldn't sirens couldn't exactly cry.
She was so absorbed in her thoughts that it too her a moment to feel the vibration of some major splashing and swimming. Something was in her home and it was BIG. There was another sound as well. Laughter.
Cecelia swim out of her home and came upon the more alarming sight. A giant shark was in her waters. She sight sent a shiver down her spine. However something was wrong with it and there was another shadow.
Was that... a boat?

As little Corel clung to Alex's arm, terrified at the way the exit had been blocked off, she felt something.... too far away to identify it... and yet, there was something in this lab here, something calling her. Something that, despite the strange sounds beyond the door deeper into the lab, beyond the iron wall blocking off the exit, beyond the strange abruptness of Alex's actions... something that tugged at her heart far stronger then the fear that told her to flee....

Shikoba turned, suddenly feeling this call as well. But instead she was filled with a different emotion. Not fear, but fury. She was getting antsy to see what was on the other side of that door... she kinda wanted to get into a fight and destroy something evil... She stared at the door.

Well, Mr. Alex... lead the way...?

Lady Aryana of the Seelie

Cecelia swam out of her home just in tome to see a figure dive out of the boat and start swimming away from it. From the shape, she realized it had to be a kitsune! She could of sworn it was Rakia for a moment, until she realized it was Silvia.

The shark was slowing down, it's movements stiffening, until it stopped moving altogether. It bobbed in the waves it had made, now a shark statue with a splintered rowboat in it's mouth made of white marble. After a moment it started to sink, down towards Cecelia.

~~~
I swam a short distance under the water as I heard the shark's movements start to slow. I surfaced with a gasp, and paddled at a more leisurely pace towards shore. I reached the beach and climbed out of the surf, dripping wet as I smiled at Helena. I gave her a thumbs up.
~~~

Phantoms Request

She landed hard on the boulder, and it jarred her knees. But she managed to stick her landing as she watched the two harpies duke it out in the water. They didn't notice her, as they were still trying to get the shiny bauble...

At least until one of them threw it. It flew in a random direction which happened to be straight at Magz! Before she could catch it it hit her right in the chest and shattered... turned out to be a flask of rainbowy oily liquid... By sheer luck she hadn't got cut by the glass, but she was now covered in oil.

And now the Harpies were swimming towards her. The looks on their faces showed that they were getting ready to attack...

Cecelia watched stunned as her friend diving out of the boat the shark had crushed in its jaws. She was both afraid and furious. Afraid for her friends life and furious at however had put that thing in hr home. How dare that invade her home and attack her friend.
She noticed how the shark stiffened and turned to stone, but she didn't care. As it sank, she screeched at it, releasing her fury. The sound was ear piercing and the statue shark shattered. Large chunks of rock fell to the sandy bottom.
Cecelia swam up to the surface and grabbed Silvia on her way. "Are you alright?" She asked. "I can't believe you did that! And how did it turn...?" She looked back at the stone shark chunks. " Why is this here?" Her voice got hard again.
After that and the emotion vision she had, she felt extremely tense.

I suddenly started thrashing about in the water as I covered my sensitive fox ears. Cecelia's screech was like nails on a chalkboard times x1000000 to my sensitive hearing.

I was about to start sinking just as Cecelia grabbed me. She kept my head above water, and I opened one eye weakly to look at her as my ears spasmed, before pointing at Helena, who was on the beach.

((will add more when back from walk WIP)) Done!

Helena slipped down the sand, weaving an odd yet pretty trail with her body's movements, and helped Silvia out of the surf and fully onto the beach. Her own head hurt from the Siren's wail, even though she'd not been in the water at the time. Clapping her hands firmly over her ears had helped, but they still rang and beeped noisily. Once she was sure the fox could stand, she released the girl's hands and clapped happily, sounding relieved as she cheered.

"We took care of that one! One less threat to deal with, huh?" Noticing the way Rakia, Silvia's...(ugh, why did she keep getting them mixed up?), ears were still twitching and the way she was cringing in a pained expression, the woman's own mood shifted to one of concern again and she moved closer to check for any ill effects, almost motherly in her inspection. "Oh, are you okay? Your poor little ears" They were soft and kind of pretty, little fox ears. And she could only guess at how sensitive they must be. She wasn't sure the kitsune could even hear her.

She smiled at Cecelia, giving her a small grin. "That shark might have made a nice garden ornament, lovie. But I suppose you could always make a mosaic from the pieces" Her snakes hissed, sounding somewhat amused. But soon she sighed again, glancing out the door towards the sounds coming from the rest of the lab. "Things don't sound good out there. If everyone iss alright in here, let's go and see what else needs seeing to shall we?"

***

Despite her fear and worries, Corel could feel something calling to her from behind closed doors, walls of iron. She whimpered softly. What was that strange feeling, pulling her, tugging her insistently. She didn't like it and she didn't understand it. The fact that she had to try so hard now to resist its siren song was something that scared her even more. She was letting go of Alex's arm without realising it, slowly slowly her stiffened fingers released him and she turned towards it, eyes large as rain pools. "Th...there's something...in that direction" her voice strained out in a whisper, high pitched and quavery, more than a little tearful. "It...it's calling me" Corel felt like she was in a dream, her body walking, taking small steps towards the calling. Her mind screamed at her to run the other way. What am I doing? What am I doing?! I'm going towards it!...
