Now for the rest . . . She had gotten a little better with time, but the pile of unusable uruz made her sad. Still, for a first timer, this wasn't a bad haul! That was what she'd have to focus on, and not th eawful feeling of tentacles and seaweed dragging her down . . .

Just as he was making progress towards the surface, a flesh-hungry fish decided to accost him. God damn it he was sick of the sea. He let the zweihander snap at it in hopes of deterring it, but apaprently the thing was hungry.

Feeling a sense of urgency (nobody liked drowning after all), Jack finally just straightened out his leg and smashed the fish like a fly with his sword. It ended up hurting his leg in the process, but at least it was off of him now.

Jack was seriously done with being underwater. To think he'd have to go back down once he finalized the project about the underwater facility later . . . <******** hell.
The sheer aura of unmitigated anger warded off smaller creatures and let the Lifer get back on the beach by the skin of his teeth.

He was still mumbling darkly under his breath as he got out the stones and started to carve. He needed a long shower after that bullshit. No, scratch that: he wanted nothing to do with water except to drink it for the rest of the day. Shower in the morning.
. . . Except he still needed to scrounge the beach. God damn his need to find something good over there. Hopefully a titan wouldn't bug him.

Finn finally decided to carve some stones and hope that they were successful (once he regained consciousness that was only to reveal that half of his stones were now gone, fantastic.)
