*Shortstraw started to bang his head on the table, fully red, "then he looked to Donte, "it's complicated..." he made a fake chukkle and tryiend to change the subject agian, unsure what to say int he first place. "Cresent is alittle scary looking, i do agree, and i think she's just one of those thats annoyed of the world. Probably doesn' have a good background. But you have to try Donte, who knows she may grow on you alittle and loosen up." He then looked to Hikari, "i should watch what i say around you people..." He looked to Keria, and shook his hands in his own defence, "AND I DIDN"T SAY THAT!" He was still red however, he opened his moutht o speak but nothig came out... he was unsure what to say at this point... this was a imbaricing mistake...

Prophet walked in, noticing everyone, he quickly tunred into his dragon form, maing sure no one noticed him. Hi quickly flew to the table and said, "Wait a second, I only count enough for you guys, I'll go hunting, I guess." He was about to head out the dorr when he noticed Shortstraw, and went up to him and said, "Thanks." Prophet then extended his wings and was heading for the door.

Hikari saw both Shortstraw's and Kiera's discomfort then decided to get the topic off that. She stood up and kept Dante from eating any more food. "You'll get all chubby if you keep eating." Dante frowned. "You keep saying how we all need to eat more!" Hikari raised her brow. "Except you. You eat too much, and barely do anything all day." She took everyones plates as Kiera reached into her pocket and gave some meat to Mai. Hikari moved over to the counter and dumped all the plates on the side. Dante folded his arms across his chest. "I'm not chubby.."

*Shortstraw chukkled at Donte and sipped his drink, "well... you are always eating..." Just then shortstraw noticed the dragon and nodded, "no problem..." as he then left he noticed someone in a black cloak and her arms crossed across her chest walk into the house and into the kitchen, noticing donte and everyone. Cresent, as epicly conviont as it was however stayed out of the light of the kitchen and looked rather unhappy like usarl, "are we suppost to do somthing or not." She replied. Shortstraw looked to Keria and shrugged, "they came to us." He chukkled.

Dante sunk further into his chair as he spotted Crescent, and Kiera couldn't help just chuckled a little. "Seems so." Hikari smiled to the new person. "Welcome to the Yokai castle." She then turned again so that she could start the washing up. There was a little more than usual but she was used to it. Asher went to go and sit by Mai for this one.

*Shortstraw gave donte a look... this was his chance. Shortstraw couldn't do this for him. Lucily Yuji was also with Donte, "son in order to be a sussesful leader you will need to stand infront of all kinds of people. This one may be tough, but she is trying to seek you and do as she suppost to. If she can try that, you need to try to be a good leader. Come on get up, and tell Cresent the answer she needs. The more you adviod her, the worse it will be for you. Just dont challange her to fight. Thats all." Shortstraw smiled to Cresent, "Dontes right there..." he pointed and got up, "it's up to him." He then turned and startd helping with the dishes for a excuse, "think he'll crack." he mumbled to Hikrai.

Dante finally rubbed his face as he yawned and sat up in his chair. "Oh, heey Crescent." He said as if he hadn't even noticed her there. He stood up and stretched his arms behind his head. "For now you don't have to do much at all. We generally don't do anything until we get contracted or something comes up. But in the meantime, there's nothing to do for the moment. Have you settled in?" Hikari kept herself from giggling politely. "Doesn't seem like it. But this is very uncomfortable for him. He wouldn't admit that, though." She whispered back. Kiera was too busy feeding little bits of meat to Mai.

*Cresent razed a brow* "So we sit around and do nothing untill theres something come up in the town? No practicing, no training. Where can i sharppen my wares?" She asked, however she kept the same unamused stare, blinking here and there. Shortstraw chukkled and turned around, "Well... there is usally pracitce and stuff but right now we're laying low. He had quiet alot happen before. But there is a sharpening smithing place we put to gether in the fourth room, left from the main hall." He replied giving Donte assistance. Menawhile he looked to Donte, "it can be troublesome to learn to navigate the tunnles though so Donte WILL help you find it. Maybe give you a tore." He walked over to donte as Cresent shrugged and turned away to head back to the door. Unsatified. This gave shortstraw the chance to whisper, "just try. Be you, show her around. Start small. Tell her the rules, explain answers to any questions she has. It's easy." Suddenly Soflora came into the house with Moon quickly following behind her, "Shortstraw!" He looked to Soflora, "yea?" She shied, "There is a DD shighted only a ways from the city. It seems to be hidden however, eating travilers as they pass by. It was staying just out of our range, but close enough to moniter us. I recived this news through some... sorces..." She replied. Shortstraw nodded, "Alright even better then. Donte, Cresent, Soflora, Moon, go for it. Take it down. Retreve it's soul, asher will eat it. Asher, suppervise." He chukkled, "I can't always be there to babysit you and neither can asher, it's time for you two to take lead. Your both ready, go for it." he instrucked walking over to Keria.

Prophet then came in, looking well fed, and said, "You know, Dante, I've been here for a short while, but what I've heard, you'd fit in with other princes. Good thing I'm not a normal prince." Prophet then sat down and yawned, and said, "Wonder why no one has asked about how I got this scar on my leg yet." Prophet said to himself.

Asher grumbled. "And yet, I still have to go." She sighed and hopped onto Dante's head. "All right Dante, lets get a move on." Dante nodded. "Easy peasy~" He looked to Crescent with a grin. "This won't take long." As Dante moved out of the room Hikari had just finished washing up and walked into the living room to do some other jobs to keep herself occupied. Kiera watched as they all trailed out of the castle then glanced to Shortstraw with still one hand on Mai's belly. "Well this is weird. It's actually just us for once." She chuckled as Mai suddenly got up and lifted his head over the table.

He nodded, "thats the point." He then blushed, and scratched the back of his neck acwordly, "not meaning now but... i mean... the point was to have them take care of the city while we do whatever we have to do... which kinda makes this ackword right now." He chukkled and shied failing. "Sorry about what i said at dinner. I didn't mean to say it like it came out." he explained.

Prophet looked at Shortstraw with interest in his eye. "I may have been gone, but there's something going on around here that I should now about." Prophet then sat down and said, "Someones got to spill the beans sooner or later." Then Prophet realised what they were talking about and asked, "Shortstraw, why are they talking about this?"

Kiera smiled to him. "It's fine. I know." She got up and stretched her arms before she walked over and hugged him. "I was just rabid and hungry over Hikari's food." She recoiled a little and looked to the door. "I just don't want to feel like that kind of thing is a pressure. And then they all started talking about heirs and kings and queens and I dunno." She looked back to him with a smile. "I'm just happy as I am at the moment."

*Shortstraw chukkled, "okay good." he poked her playfully in the side, "it's been a good day today. You had alittle time with veria, i lost chess to asher on purpose and now she thinks shes a winner, how ironic is that, and then we all got to work on thee house as a little familiy, and then we had good food. For once we didin't get serated or seously hurt, or snatched or anything like that. I would say there was no enemy, but since the others are out fighting it, " He smiled and hugged her, "i miss the way we had it sometimes. Simple." He laughed, "so what do we do now? Head to the appartment? It is tenicly late." He nodded.

Kiera nodded and kissed him before turning around with Mai right at her side. "Yeah, we could head back. Sounds good to me." Mai yapped and looked up for her approval before they walked on. "And maybe things will get easier for us for a little. I know it won't be what it was like the way it used to be, but I think it's still better." She looked unsure for a moment as she twisted around. "Oh and Asher recommended that I took up modelling or something like that." She held up a finger and grinned. "Wait for me to explain before you comment." She couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I wasn't sure, but Asher said that it'd get me more publicity and moral." She rolled her eyes. "She said it was probably the easiest thing for me." She looked to him with large innocent eyes. "What do you think? Do you think I should give it a go?" Naturally, she valued his opinion above everything. Well, especially above Asher's opinion, anyway. It was little twerks like these when Kiera and Asher helped each other which was probably the only time when they really got along. But only this time because of mutual goals.
