And into the water Malcolm went.
Again.
At least the slime was really completely off him now.
However, as he laid in the water - and then gradually floated upwards, he used his staff to move himself towards the ghoul, hooking onto her ankle with his foot, and then pulling.
... Where was the fun in this, again?

"I BRING LIGHT TOO, BRO!" Westhor yelled at Avery before trotting over, concentrating before-
"Is this enough light, you think?" He asked, looking hopeful as he looked from one face to the other.

At some point, Oinqa had dozed off. She awoke to the sounds of a scuffle, but decided to stay put due to the fact that there was a sloth demon using her as a pillow. Yep. That was the only reason. Once her classmates had made short work of their foe, the ghoul was suddenly much more interested in moving about. She remained seated, however, stiffening her spine and craning her neck as far as she could in an effort to see what was happening in the newly revealed section of the cave. It didn't work. It was time for drastic measures. "Maaaaaaaaaaatt," she whispered. "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatt. Time to get up." She poked at the demon's cheek, gently turning his head from left to right with the tips of her fingers.

Once he was certain that she had calmed down enough he grabbed her hands and followed the others into the strange area. "You um..." he said, feeling a bit awkward, "Want to see what's in the water?" he asked her. "It sure looks like a lot of treasure. Maybe we can find somethin' pretty."

And down in the water again she went. Just as quickly as she was under the water though... she was back up again, grabbing a breath of air, and launching herself at the boil. Didn't Malcolm know by now, that all defenders considered brawling fun? Well.. At least THIS one did. Why not have a play-fight in the watery depths?... right?

Avery heard his name and turned to see the one and only--
"Kato?"
Okay, when he said he wanted light, he wasn't sure he wanted it from this guy. The guy was an a**. Not that he was one to speak. "Are you going to produce fire, or will it be hot air again?" He asked. He was teasing of course.
Fortunately, the other boil summoned a small flame on the tip of his finger. Shedding a little bit of light on the wall.
"Hoo~ You're like a walking talking candle." He said, a toothy grin spreading across his face just as another boil showed up. "Oh excellent. Now we have a candle and a light bulb." He added, admiring the amount of light the two provided before he leaned in to read the etchings on the wall. Or tried to.
"I still can't read a damn word of this..." Was it even words to begin with?

The gargoyle eyed the surroundings carefully, frowning at the pool of water. Of all the things they could of found, it had to be water?
Ugh...
"Who would have imagined that the school was this ri--" He quickly broke off his sentence and instinctively shuffled back at Zeke's suggestion. "Ahahah... ummm... I'll pass." He hated the slime, yes, but the gargoyle hated water even more. So while Zeke diligently washed the slime off from his clothes, Skylar wandered around, observing things further away from the water. Which turned out to be some weird looking blue flowers.
"Hey Zeke look at---Zeke!" He hissed, giving the boil a cross look. "Do you really want to be taking that?" He asked. Really, did he want to be charged with theft?
Sighing he turned back to the flowers, though just as he reached for one, it retreated back into the earth.
Huh... weird.

Sin stood by the pool looking utterly sceptical.
Treasure. Well randomly discarded treasure wasn't suspicious at all. No way.
No one could jacking pay him enough to make him wade in there to retrieve anything. Not yet anyway. He decided to do the cautious thing and wander around the strange pool, checking it out without actually getting himself too committed. Demons had to be cautious, his father had told him all too well about how much of a survival trait it was.

"Mrnnn...." The was soft murmuring and a groan from the sleeping Sloth, slowly opening his eyes as his head was gently nudged to and fro. "Huh?" He didn't lift his head right away, slowly blinking up at the ghoul. Oh, it was Oinqa. Right, he'd fallen asleep on her lap. Matthew squirmed and finally got himself up from her lap, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Since when did the wall open?"

The moment she was in the water, he had gotten up, dripping wet from head to toe. While he was a defender too, he did not find brawling particularly fun. However, he was not one to back down from a fight - even one as silly as this one was.
When she came at him, he quickly gripped his staff firming with both hands, and held it up parallel to the ground, trying to use it as a barrier in order to push her away.

Oh great. Now they had the brute man, and the lightning rod. Said lightning rod TOTALLY outdid him when it came towards light. He was using more energy... thus summoning more light. It could not stop Katos reaction to the words of Avery though. His face scrunched up, and he...tried to look angry and totally failed at it. "I think only ONE of us it the one producing hot air here." Not wanting to be outdone the boil took a step forward.... only to step on something on the ground, and fall backwards. It was almost slow motion actually.. resulting with a THUNK on the ground. "Oooowwwwww.... Hey." Kato was rolling over on his side, obviously about to complain about why no one CAUGHT him... when he noticed something on the floor. " Hey guys... theres markings on the ground too."

As the two examined the things carved onto the wall, Westhor just stood there, being a good lightbulb; reading was never his strength, after all. It just made him sort of sleepy... He had tried to read before - a simple book from the library. One of those ones with pictures, and big text for easy reading. However, he only managed to read the title, and part of page 1, before falling asleep.
Best leave the reading to those who are good at it!
"Hot? No, bro... We chill, right?" He asked, blinking at Kato. When he fell, Westhor just... Sort of stared at the whole thing with a wide-eyed, surprised expression; using this much energy just to produce light was making him a little sluggish. In fact, only after the boil was already on the floor did Westhor gasp, his light dimming as his hair - usually standing and floating upwards - started to fall, "Are you okay, Kato bro? You chill?!"

Selene took in a gasping breath when Arcana stopped clutching her so tightly, and sighed in relief. "Oh, it's perfectly all right, I know you didn't mean to.." The sound of her name caught her attention, and her voice hushed to silence. She looked up at him, with a faint curiosity that always lingered on the edge of paranoia. She always expected something to go wrong, or something awful to happen, and as he stuttered with his words, her heart sank in worry. Her hand rested on his shoulder, because she was becoming used to that by now, and it froze there when he admitted that he liked her. Well, she told herself, you knew he liked you, he is a very nice boil who thinks you are a good person too. It doesn't mean anything, she kept repeating, for the few seconds between his admittance and his compliments. But by the time he finished talking, there was no denying what he meant. "Oh." She whispered, suddenly feeling as though she were shrinking away into nothing, fading off in embarrassment of such a personal admittance, in such a public place. Moira's yelp of congratulations only served to further her anxiety concerning the venue which Arcana had chosen to admit his feelings, and she paled considerably when she heard it. Her nose crunched up and she tried not to look anyone in the eye - least of all Arcana. He didn't know what to do. What made him think she would! "I ah.. uhm.." Her voice was a tiny whisper, as her hair fell down in front of her face. "I don't know what to do either," She admitted quietly. "I don't think there is any reason for you to like me the way I like you, Arcana. Perhaps you are mistaken." Yes, that must be it. He was confused, because they were in a strange place, under strange circumstances. She wouldn't hold it against him.

"Oooh, nice shiny you got there, Tesar." He gave the necklace an appreciative look, before twirling his sword around some more, and pointing it toward Manny. "Hey, no more talking like that, got it? One day, you are so gonna swoon bug girl, and I'm throwing your bachelor party when you get married. Got it? Good." He chuckled then, before pulling an ivory scabbard out of the water. "Matches the sword, hm? I like this thing."
The Musimon stepped out of the pool to lay his things by Manny, then sinking his head into the water. His hair was successfully de-slimed, as was his face. Perfection.
"This place is awesome. I wonder why it's here, though."

Bella saw first one shoe, then another, hit Norvie in the head, and she paused for a second, before falling back into the water in laughter. She almost choked from the mistake of laughing while falling into water, but she coughed it out and got back up, still snickering wildly. "Nice shot, stud." She called out to Rowly, wading out of the water now that she was done bothering Norvie. She turned around and watched Rowly swimming through the water, whistling low at the sight of his speed and grace. It was pretty awesome. There was no way she was ever going to swim that well, so instead, she just started splashing random people who refused to get in the water. Sin was looking like a mighty fine target right about now. "Hey, Sin. Catch!" How does one catch water? Bella splashed a giant wave, and waited to find out.
