Hey people! Happy Thanksgiving day! I'm so enthused!
...but I've also never been busier than I have this past month - it's ri-di-cu-lous! Nonetheless, I will do my very best to make posts today.

Okay, i'm going to ask this last question before I stop talking here. First, some background - I have little idea what's happening storywise or character wise, thus it is both hard for me to keep my attention on the characters histories and the story itself. As a result, a wave of tl;dr washes over me, especially in the Great Eyris thread. Secondly, i'm not very good at making up random excuses (especially given the above tl;drness) for a character to suddenly appear out of nowhere with no background. Lastly - yes, i'm being an annoying p***k by putting this on you guys because frankly I just can't find it in me to scan every piece of history to get up to date here. (No, not that I can't find them, it's just...well...tl;dr, unless i'm involved in some way, which i'm not). The most enjoyable time for me to RP here (and probably the only time) was in that asylum - I kept my attention on the posts around me because my character was directly involved in the situations. Plus, I didn't need to know any situations or complex things to understand the scenario, and I had a 'direction' to take myself in. Admittedly, I was being lead around, but that's how I prefer it.
The question: Does anybody need Legault somewhere as of the present time? He is a character that hasn't 'spawned' yet in the world, so i'd also need a way to conveniently insert him and get the guy up to speed (or not, if the situation is different for when he arrives). If not, then i'm just plain unable to participate and have only myself to blame.
Thanks for reading this (if you did). If you didn't, thanks for not flaming me.

...Your character, Saifer, is in Eyris. Eyris is under siege. You're involved. What you do is your choice- upon popular member request, we've made this very open for people to do as they wish. (Though, the undeniable lack of posting despite the catering to this request leaves me thinking nobody really wants to RP) You are NOT being held back by Kurai. Like the Q+A topic answered for you, time goes on even if you're not RPing. You need to make a logical thought as to where your character went and has has been since the last time you posted and where he is now. You Plus, I didn't need to know any situations or complex things to understand the scenario, and I had a 'direction' to take myself in. And there is no difference, now.

...Hardly. He'd hang back and do nothing, logically. I was hoping he'd meet up with the resistance or something by that time and have stuff explained to him so that he can do useful thief stuff for them and thus have a place in the story.
Kurai's thing is a minor inconvenience (especially since she knew the story and it was fun when I could just follow her characters and go along with it).
I'm also not sure what has been happening in that time, or even WHAT'S HAPPENING. I've only seen this Leon guy in some posts whose thread I don't remember (I think it was the coronation of James or something?). Even though I read the Legacies thread, too, I don't know which sides are fighting which and why and who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. This is why I wanted my character to hook up with either side - so he knows who the bad guy is and can be instructed or at least given the general direction on what he needs to do.
...Keep in mind, i'm not someone who's been here with the benefit of having established their character and holds an interest in the 'other' goings-on around him. My experience is limited to the threads i've RP'ed in (two). Well, actually, I didn't even know I WAS in Eyris because i'd already forgotten the name by this time, so there's also that.
It'd be easier for everyone to pay me no attention, though, and i'm fine with that given that I can just wait to follow in the path of Kurai's characters (if/when she gets back from that Nanowhatever thing). I mean...no one HAS to give me any help if they don't want to, and I understand completely that they wouldn't want to.
I asked that question, though, in hopes that MAYBE I can get a recovery earlier than sometime after the end of November, and that I can help stimulate posts (because I honestly pity the people who set this all up and are now lacking members to participate because of the BAWWWW or 'real-life stuff' leavers).
Wow, that's a lot of typing.

...Even for new people, I'm not seeing what's so confusing about who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. Mordache. Sentria. Bad guys. Attacking Eyris. You're in Eyris. Bandits are inside- flooding the streets, even. Oh ho. I'm not sure he has the option of hanging back and doing nothing.
Even if he's hiding in a house, the bandits are going to plunder, meaning he can be found. And I doubt he would have left Eyris while he was able, since he wouldn't know where to go or if he was walking right towards the enemy army. Heck, what I just conveyed even, is enough for a post. How far you go with it and the creativity produced, comes from you.
And I will only say this once more, and HOPEFULLY it will get though. I've tried to be nice about it, but... STOP WAITING FOR KURAI.

Logically, if he was on a side, he'd fight with his team. If he's alone, he'd break away and run.
I'm going to stop bothering you about it, though. sweatdrop

Yay! I am glad I get a chance to join the final battle, even if I am on guard duty. Least I protect some important dragons.

Well, the thing is, he'd try to get away if he's got no reason to stick around. Whether he dies or not is up to the gods of RP.
