"I'm not sure that Zack would be the best person to speak with him now." Vincent glanced back at the house,"There's... a situation between him, Cloud, and Aerith...I think that may only make Cloud less stable."
He thought for a moment over the ninja that he had known so well, and he thought of what he would do if Lucrecia had seemed to reject him. Somehow he thought that Sephiroth was taking Yuffie's hostility pretty well,"I don't think that she will leave you. Yuffie is stubborn, so you just have to be paitent. I think she would be too stubborn to leave you anyways..."
Again he glanced toward the house,"I apologize for bringing Kaether here. I had hoped that I would be able to introduce her to you all before something like that happened..." he paused,"She seemed very much like you in many ways, though she doesn't have your independance, she has your honor, courage, and commitment...And it seems your swordsmanship as well..."

Sephiroth nodded,"Kaether is an interesting one...You said that she has no Jenova cells in her? What would happen if you were to give that solution to Jenova herself?"

Lucrecia sighed softly. Yuffie knew Cloud more then she did, yet she could understand just where he was coming from. "Don't expect his apologizing to come so soon..Let him calm down, no matter how long it takes.."
Taking a seat, she showed know interest in eating, but she would stay there with the young ninja if she needed to talk after she was done eating..
Nanaki laid back down, unsure of what to say to Kaether. She sounded to be a very dangerous one if she wasn't on you're side.He hoped to keep it that way.If she was anything like Sephiroth, they might have trouble sitting right in the house.. "I see.." Was all he could get out.
(( I think I did something wrong on those banner things. That blinking is driving me crazy. lol. ))

"We don't know. I don't think that she will be able to gain control over the Lifesteam cells, but we would have to have a peice of Jenova to confirm that."
He frowned at the notion of all the work resulting in a more powerful Jenova. If that were to happen, then it would be impossible to rid the planet of the parasite. Honestly, only the scientists really knew what would happen...Vincent was little more than a messanger himself. On the bright side, Sephiroth seemed to welcome the change in thoughts, though it was difficult to read the mako-eyed man. Even moreso that it was to read Vincent himself.

Yuffie sighed,"I know, I know..." she sat down to eat as well, speaking between bites,"But wouldn't it bother you if you hadn't seen someone for a long time, and they decide to wreck your house? I know Cloud doesn't like Sephiroth...and I expected the worst reaction from him, but I can't help but get upset! Maybe its because it was an important picture to me..."
Kaether frowned, as she felt that she had said the wrong thing,"I'm sorry. I just suppose its a matter of honor. To finish a fight however you must..." she looked back to Nanaki,"Correct me if I am mistaken, but are not there humans who think the same way? To carry out your mission to the death, is the only way to live?"
"I see." Sephiroth started toward the house,"I think we should still have the fireworks for the girls, and Yuffie...they could use the distraction." He paused,"Thank you, Vincent."

Vincent managed a small smile again,"Any time you need to talk..." He then followed Sephiroth into the house.
He was glad to see that Kaether had someone to talk to, but he continued into the kitchen where Lucrecia and Yuffie sat. It seemed that Lucrecia had success in her own peace talk, which he aknowledged with a smile smirk.
"Sephiroth wants to set off the fireworks now...I don't think we'll be waiting for Cloud and Aerith..."

"Think of it this way. When you first met Cloud, how old were you? I assume you were very young. He is loyel to his friends, right? Did you ever think he might think of you as a younger sister? Then for him to see that girl so many years later married to someone he didn't accept?" Lucrecia was just thinking up what ever she could, without even knowing Cloud. All she wanted to do, was calm the ninja's nerves. She didn't want anyone angry with him, the poor man did not need a mental break down.
"He only broke the frame,and glass of that picture. That can be replaced. The photo itself is fine." She paused a moment, She had nothing more to say to the girl to calm her down anymore. "Try to be easy on him when he comes back.."
The women glanced away form her younger friend, Her eyes setting on Vincent as he walked in. "Well, Yuffie..Time to cheer up and have a little fun, right?"
Nanaki nodded slowly. "Yes..That is true...If it is the only possible way and of good intentions."

Yuffie thought about it for a moment...maybe hiding Sephiroth for all this time hadn't been a good idea..."I guess..." She cheered up instantly at the mention of fireworks, however, seeming to forget all about her anger at Cloud,"Fireworks! Where are the girls?"
Kaether nodded a bit, but her attention was soon on Vincent again. Did he have more orders for her? She looked slightly disappointed when he merely passed her by, however. Instead she listened intently to the mention of fireworks. What were those? She didn't ask, though the confusion was clear on her face... She guessed that fireworks were good, by Yuffie's reaction, and the fact that big brother had suggested them... She could only wait and see...
Kaia seemed to pop out of nowhere when fireworks were mentioned,"Fireworks! Fireworks!!" She then ran around Vincent excitedly tugging at his cape,"Can I have a sparkler? Pleeeease?"

Vincent handed a box over to Yuffie, before addessing the child who was quickly becoming tangled in his cape,"Ask your mother."
He looked up at Lucrecia for help with the whole thing, though his expression only showed quiet amusment. He then offered his hand to Lucrecia,"Would you like to come help set up?"

Lucrecia smiled as the room seemed to fill with life and much cheerfulness. If only she could have made Yuffie that cheerful when she had her talk with her.
She watched Kaia run around Vincent's cape, and become tangled into it, which caused her to laugh softly as she stood from her seat and took Vincents hand. "Of course.."
Nanaki raised his head, his one eye catching the puzzled look on the womens face. "Will you be joining us?" His two cubs were quite excited about the idea, maybe back in Cosmo Canyon they had some form of a festival? Though it didn't suit such a place. They bounced there way happily toward the door, waiting for one of the humans to open it.
Sephriea was enjoying her tree, which she now proclaimed as her own tree. She would have the best seat from here to watch the show, which she was waiting on after the two had gone inside.

He led Lucrecia outside and motioned for her to sit on ther hill,"I'll be back...I'm going to set up everything." He motioned for Sephiroth to follow him down onto the beach.
Once there, he worked with the other man to set up several pipe-like objects in the sand. They would go off on their own timers, so that everyone could simply sit back and watch. Sure, he had brought smaller ones as well, but he had a feeling that this was something that Cloud and Aerith may enjoy...where ever they were. Finally, he took a seat next to Lucrecia and pulled out a small remote control.

Kaia untangled herself, allowing Vincent to take Lucrecia outside before she attacked her mother for a sparkler. Once she had a few, she took off to where Sephirea was, handing one over. "We'll light them after the big fireworks!"
Yuffie could only laugh at her daughter's excitement, as she walked outside. Honestly she was glad that the girls knew where each other were...saved her a lot of trouble. She sat down next to Lucrecia, saving a spot for Sephiroth on her other side.
Kaether, stayed with Nanaki, to watch the cubs, with a nod,"Of course."
Sephiroth joined Yuffie as Vincent sat down next to Lucrecia, and slid an arm around her. He smiled when she relaxed against him, and nodded his thanks to Vincent.

Once everyone was settled, Vincent started the show. Soon enough the sky was filled with blazes of red, blue, green, and white, each crackling and booming with its own announcement. The fireworks would start off slow, building up spead as they went along. Soon more rare colors were mized in, as well as multi-colored explosions, casting bright glows on the couples on the hill.
He hugged Lucrecia close as they watched, though he paid little attention to the show. For once, there was nothing to be worried about, no one to take her from him. He could make her happy, as he failed to do before... Second chances... Hopefully he would be able to talk to Cloud about Sephiroth, but at that moment, the issue seemed far away, drowned in the sound of fireworks.

Sephriea noticed Kaia by her tree, trying to give her something.She just managed to hold onto the larger branch with her legs and reached out to grab the sparkler from her. "Ok!" Using her own little stregnth, she pulled herself back up to lay over on the branch to watch. ".......How do we light them?" She blinked, looking at the object she was holding.
Nanakita ran over to Yuffie's box of sparklers, and grabbed one by her mouth before taking off back to Kaether, which she then put it next to her feet. "When the big explosions stop..Light that..ok?" The cute little lion-like cub looked at up her with bright yellow eyes. Seto sat down next to his father as he waited for the colorful lights.
While everyone took there seats, Lucrecia waited patiently, while in the back of her mind, she had hoped this little display wouldn't hurt Cloud and Aerith all the more. The group having fun together, while Cloud and Aerith weren't so lucky. Though, like Vincent she had hoped it would cheer them up. The womens smile hid the fact that she was once again deep in thought, only not about the past.
